2002 Chevy Tracker, Rwd, Soft And Hard Top, Low Low Miles, Excellant Condition on 2040-cars
Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States
For auction is our 2002 Chevy Tracker-Perferred, with only 39500 miles
and a cute hard top painted silver metallic to match the truck. The hard top is
a $1000.00 bonus, (less noise and dust too.)
It is the 2.0 liter DOHC 16-valve engine, with the 4 speed auto
transmission with overdrive. As
you can see from the pictures, it is very clean inside and out. The
original two-piece soft convertible top still looks like new with all the zippers
working, no leaks, and the plexiglass is clear.
It is include should you want to put it back on. We also have the back cargo storage
compartment or back seat tray, as you can see in the photos also. We found it nice
to fold the back seat up and have more room without the tray installed. Four new tires were put on in 2011 and
they have about 8,000 miles on them.
The tires have been rotated on schedule, the oil and filter has been
changed regularly. It is a rust free excellent example of these great fun
little trucks. It has never been smoked in, simply runs and drives great. The
window sticker list the total vehicle price as $19,105.00 as new in 2002.
Take a good look at the photos, if you have any questions, let me know. Feel free to call us at 505-294-6000, if you want. We have a clear New Mexico title and it is up for sale locally also. No buy it now price cause, you can't find another one this nice to compare with, so good luck and bid to win. I have disclosed all know deficits to you. It runs and drives great. I suggest you have it inspected prior to purchasing if you have any questions. Seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle

The Volt Dance had precedent; meet the Chevy Footlockers
Sun, Dec 14 2014Marketing in the auto industry can get weird sometimes – really quite bizarre, in fact. For example, remember the Chevy Volt dance from the 2009 Los Angles Auto Show? If not, a group boogied to a song about the electric car, and it was every bit as awkward (and hilarious) as that sounds. In fact, that innocent bit of promotion lives in infamy, as some pundits grabbed hold of it during General Motors' bailout and asked why America's tax dollars were going to such things. The Chicago Auto Show has been digging through its vault of vintage videos, and it has come up with something that might actually be worse than that Volt-themed routine. They're called the Chevy Footlockers, and they're a dance troupe somehow promoting the Cavalier at the 1988 Chicago show. The connection between the car and their routine is unclear, but it's gloriously cheesy in a Chippendales-meets-AC Slater sort of way. Also, there are props towards the end, but we aren't going to spoil them for you, because you just have to watch for yourself. As a bonus, there's another (brief) clip below showing a female dance group with the Geo Tracker at the '91 Chicago show, and they sing, too. Scroll down to watch both of these oddities. Tarantino's stolen Chevy Malibu from Pulp Fiction recovered after 19 years [w/video]
Mon, 29 Apr 2013Quentin Tarantino fans will likely remember Vincent Vega's cherry 1964 Chevrolet Malibu Convertible in Pulp Fiction. In a movie drenched in automotive references, the Malibu is very nearly a character in and of itself, and it serves as the subject of Vega's soliloquy about the kind of man who vandalizes another's automobile. It also happened to be Tarantino's personal car when the film was shot, and was apparently stolen shortly after production wrapped. Now police have located the car some 19 years later.
As it turns out, the thieves cloned the vehicle identification number from another '64 Malibu and had the car registered under the new digits. It was then sold to an unsuspecting buyer. Police happened upon the duplicate VINs while investigating another potential theft. Right now, it's unclear whether Tarantino has taken possession of the Chevrolet, if it has remained in the possession of the fraud victim, or whether it's caught somewhere in the gears of justice. Either way, you can catch Vega's memorable thoughts on the car keying in the Pulp Fiction clip below. But consider yourself warned: the video contains explicit language as Not Safe For Work as it comes.
Chevy confirms Corvette Stingray Convertible for Geneva
Thu, 07 Feb 2013Want proof that General Motors has increased global ambitions for its 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray? It's staging the world premiere of the model's convertible variant at the Geneva Motor Show early next month.
As previously rumored, the droptop rendered above will debut at the Swiss show, making its first appearance anywhere on March 5. According to Susan Docherty, president and managing director of Chevrolet, the location makes sense because Corvette "...is an icon that has long been recognized and admired even in countries where it's never officially been offered."
While neither Chevrolet nor the Corvette has a major sales presence in Switzerland, the Bowtie's European headquarters is located in Zurich (about three hours to the northeast of Geneva) and GM has made it clear that it wants to build the Chevrolet brand up across Europe.
