This is a NO RESERVE auction!

Sorry for the long post but there is a lot of good to say about this Tahoe.
This truck is in excellent shape. Just installed a new 5.7L 350 Vortec engine 233 miles ago and it runs very strong. The owner before me had a new B&M transmission and torque converter installed 39k miles ago and it shifts perfectly and runs strong as well. He also had the entire brake system replaced (everything from the master cylinder to the rotors) and all the wear items in the front end such as all ball joints and pitman arms etc. were replaced around the same time. So needless to say this Tahoe drives very well and is very dependable. There are no leaks anywhere either.
The paint is in great shape about a 7 or soft 8 out of 10. The body is in pretty good shape about a 6 or soft 7 out of 10 (little dents here and there no major damage or anything). The interior is about an 8 out of 10, and mechanically its about a 9 out of 10 ( would be a 10 since practically everything is new but it has electronic 4wd and the button just flashes when you push it, not sure what the deal is I had a mechanic tell me it was one of the 4wd servos or something and should only be about $150 to replace it if you knew which one it was and did it yourself).
It also has brand new Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ 35" tires and brand new 15" wheels. And a 6" Rancho suspension lift and a 3" body lift with the fender skirts (so 9" total lift).
It certainly isn't a new truck but its in about as good a shape as it gets for a '97. Everything works (except the 4wd button) as it should, A/C blows cold and all power options too. it has a decent aftermarket Kenwood CD player with an AUX plug in the glove box for iPod and what not. it had a nice stereo system installed but the sub and amp are removed (still wired though if you have your own stereo).
I have a whole stack of paper work showing all the maintenance records on this truck. It has been very well taken care of.
The truck itself has a 179k miles on it but truly drives like it has a lot less.
I do not know why it says the VIN is incorrect. I checked it multiple times and I got it correct! I know for a fact that it scores higher than the average vehicle of its kind because I checked it here on E-Bay before I listed it. I personally guarantee that the title is in my name and is a green title free and clear of any liens or any problems.
I tried to take as detailed pictures as possible with the allowed number of pics. Please let me know if you want to see something in particular and i will text them to you. I also have this listed for sale locally so if it sells i will remove this add.
Please call or text any time 405-250-7471. thanks for looking.

Disregard what I said about the title above. I guess ebay found it now. So that is the correct VIN and actual title history report you see now.

On May-27-13 at 19:17:07 PDT, seller added the following information:

Since I listed the add the a/c switch stopped working. The compressor and blower still work fine and the system is still charged with Freon but the switch intermittently doesn't work now. It is a $35 dollar part but I don't have enough time before the auction ends to order it and replace it. Just thought I would add that to the add so there were no surprises.

Best car infotainment systems: From UConnect to MBUX, these are our favorites

Sun, Jan 7 2024

Declaring one infotainment system the best over any other is an inherently subjective matter. You can look at quantitative testing for things like input response time and various screen load times, but ask a room full of people that have tried all car infotainment systems what their favorite is, and you’re likely to get a lot of different responses. For the most part, the various infotainment systems available all share a similar purpose. They aim to help the driver get where they're going with navigation, play their favorite tunes via all sorts of media playback options and allow folks to stay connected with others via phone connectivity. Of course, most go way beyond the basics these days and offer features like streaming services, in-car performance data and much more. Unique features are aplenty when you start diving through menus, but how they go about their most important tasks vary widely. Some of our editors prefer systems that are exclusively touch-based and chock full of boundary-pushing features. Others may prefer a back-to-basics non-touch system that is navigable via a scroll wheel. You can compare it to the phone operating system wars. Just like some prefer Android phones over iPhones, we all have our own opinions for what makes up the best infotainment interface. All that said, our combined experience tells us that a number of infotainment systems are at least better than the rest. WeÂ’ve narrowed it down to five total systems in their own subcategories that stand out to us. Read on below to see our picks, and feel free to make your own arguments in the comments. Best infotainment overall: UConnect 5, various Stellantis products Ram 1500 Uconnect Infotainment System Review If thereÂ’s one infotainment system that all of us agree is excellent, itÂ’s UConnect. It has numerous qualities that make it great, but above all else, UConnect is simple and straightforward to use. Ease of operation is one of the most (if not the single most) vital parts of any infotainment system interface. If youÂ’re expected to be able to tap away on a touchscreen while driving and still pay attention to the road, a complex infotainment system is going to remove your attention from the number one task at hand: driving. UConnect uses a simple interface that puts all of your key functions in a clearly-represented row on the bottom of the screen. Tap any of them, and it instantly pulls up that menu.

C7 Corvette turbo with 1,000 horsepower promised from Hennessey

Mon, 25 Feb 2013

If you can't wait for the next-generation Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, Hennessey says they will have you covered. The Texas-based company has announced it will offer a spate of upgrades for the 2014 Corvette ranging from a range of bolt-on options all the way up to a 1,000-horsepower, twin-turbo system. Buyers can start with a cold air intake, cat-back exhaust or stainless steel long-tube headers, but Hennessey says it will also offer up three stages of forced induction mayhem should those bits and baubles not provide enough thrust.
Those choices start with a supercharger system good for up to 700 hp, though Hennessey will gladly ditch the blower in favor of two turbos. Doing so will spin the crank to the tune of 800 horsepower all the way up to a certifiably ludicrous 1,000 ponies. There's no word on how much these tricks will cost you - or when they will be available, as we're guessing they haven't gotten their hands on the car yet - but you can head over to the Hennessey site to drop them a line if you're curious.

All of the Bond cars of 'No Time To Die' (caution for spoilers)

Thu, Sep 30 2021

Note: The following overview of the cars in No Time To Die contains spoilers. Read at your own risk, or come back after seeing the film to make sure you caught everything.   No Time To Die picks up right around where Spectre leaves us. James Bond (Daniel Craig) and Madeleine Swann (Lea Seydoux) are driving along in Bond’s restored and iconic DB5 in Matera, Italy. Things donÂ’t stay all that cheery for long in picturesque Matera, though. As is tradition in Bond films, the first car chase hits us with an explosion of action in what's a super-long opening scene. Fourth-gen Maserati Quattroporte: The baddies in the beginning are driving a Maserati and chasing after Bond in the DB5. Specifically, theyÂ’re in a fourth-gen Quattroporte, which feels right for a chase scene in Italy. Its squared-off looks are mean enough, and its Italian growl is a good background soundtrack to the DB5Â’s inline-six. In addition to the Quattroporte, the chase scene in Matera is home to a couple of the best stunts of the entire movie, including the arch jump done with a Triumph motorcycle seen in trailers — Matera is extremely hilly. Eventually, Bond and Swann find themselves in the DB5 again together, which is where the famous gatling gun scene from the trailer commences, but not before the bulletproof windows and body of the DB5 are thoroughly tested. RIP to the first-gen Range Rover Classics and Jaguar XFs that joined the Maserati in pursuit of Bond (here's a list of other Bond cars over the years). As the DB5 escape scene concludes, we catch a glimpse of what appears to be a Ferrari from the 1970s. However, the view was far enough away that weÂ’ll need a second look to be sure of the exact model. Land Rover Series III: Next time we see Bond, heÂ’s fishing in Jamaica and driving around a blue Land Rover Series III. ItÂ’s yet another of the many Land Rover products featured throughout the film, and unlike most of BondÂ’s Aston Martins, this one doesnÂ’t seem to have any unique features. The other intriguing vehicle out of Jamaica? An old Chevrolet Bel-Air expertly and effectively piloted by Bond newcomer, Ana de Armas. Next up, we get a few shots of the new and still-not-for-sale Aston Martin Valhalla mid-engine supercar (also seen in trailers). BondÂ’s old boss M is in the scene which appears to have been shot in some secret wind tunnel of sorts. Much to our dismay, nobody ends up driving the Valhalla in the film. Could it be a teaser for what the next 007Â’s car is?
