2007 Chevrolet Suburban Ltz 6.0l on 2040-cars
Dallas, Texas, United States
2007 Chevrolet Suburban LTZ 6.0l This is a fully loaded to the brim suv. It has every option they offered at the time except 4 wheel drive. Black outside with grey leather and wood grain inside. Front navigation unit and rear passenger DVD ent. system. Has been owned by retired couple for last 5 years. Bought to travel but have decided to upgrade to a small motor home. Originally came with a 5.3l but was professionally upgraded to a ly6 6.0l 2yrs ago. Motor is a 2011 ly6 crate engine with a ls3 cam and TSP ceramic coated long tube headers. K&N cold air intake, factory Cadillac Escalade Cat back 3.5in exhaust and resonator. Truck has been tuned for towing and mileage by the Best LS tuner in the area and runs flawlessly and has plenty of get out of the way power. Also had a complete rear end assembly installed in January of this year at local GM dealership consisting of new housing, bearings, races, axles, gears etc....Rear is a, as equipped from factory, 4.11 limited slip heavy duty towing package rear end. Also replaced rear factory air ride suspension late last year. New tires last year with less than 8k miles on them. New tailgate latch as well. Has front and rear bucket seats with all four being heated seats. Rear buckets recline as well and fold down to allow access to 3rd row seating. 3rd row seating has been in storage since owned by this couple. Weather Tech floor mats were installed over factory to help keep clean. This is a needs nothing SUV that is ready to tow or travel. Everything works as should and the inside is clean for its age. Outside is clean and shows well. Has to be expected wear from normal use. Front bumper has two minor scuffs from parking lot poles. This is not a lot prepped vehicle that has been polished for show to sell. It’s a driver that has been washed to sell and not hide anything. If you want something that will pull a boat or Travel trailer without breaking a sweat, this is it. Or if you would like a peppier than factory SUV, this is it. It has everything you would need and is in great shape. New list: Ly6 6.0l w/ls3 cam and springs professionally installed New tires New air struts New lift gate hatch New rear end assembly W/warranty from GM.

Corvette Stingray Shooting Brake under consideration by Callaway [w/poll]
Mon, 18 Mar 2013Callaway has released a few renderings of a design study for a shooting brake version of the C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The company says it wants to create a long-roof version of America's sports car to offer buyers more interior room and a vehicle with "unique style." The company says it will use structural carbon fiber for the new body bits, which suggests the conversion shouldn't add too much more weight to the Corvette. Along with a few mechanical tweaks, the Callaway Corvette Stingray AeroWagon could breeze past the 200 miles per hour barrier.
Provided that they get enough interest, Callaway estimates they will be able to effect the changes on the Chevrolet for around $15,000, and says the conversion work should be available through its network of dealers. You can check out the brief press release below for more information, or head over to the Callaway site to plunk down a deposit - but before you do, we want to know... do you find this C7 wagon interesting? Vote in our poll below, then feel free to leave a few lines in Comments.

Why the Corvette's Performance Data Recorder can be illegal in some states
Fri, 26 Sep 2014The Performance Data Recorder with Valet Mode available on the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray seems like a fantastic tool for many owners. Whether they are taking 720p video while lapping the track in their new 'Vette, or just want to protect their purchase from inconsiderate joyriders, the system offers a lot of functionality in one package. However, one of the PDR's features might get buyers in trouble with the law, and it has nothing to do with recording some illicit high-speed driving on a favorite back road. The problem hinges on the various state laws concerning a person's right to privacy.
According to a letter posted by Jalopnik, Chevy dealers are asking 2015 Corvette owners not to use the Valet Mode portion of the PDR because it records audio in the cabin, in addition to performance specs. That's a problem because privacy laws vary from state to state with some requiring just one side's consent to tape sound and others requiring all parties to agree. According Jalopnik, 15 states mandate everyone's permission beforehand, but it's not clear whether these numbers are up to date. (Actually, the report varies, saying 13 states in some places and 15 in a list.)
According to the letter, Chevy is already working on a software update for the near future to rectify the issue. It's possible that simply adding a warning to drivers and the ability to turn off the audio recording function in Valet Mode might solve the problem. Obviously, this doesn't preclude Corvette drivers from using the performance aspect of the PDR, and owners are free tape lap after lap at the track.
Editors' Picks August 2021 | Honda Civic, Mercedes S-Class and more
Thu, Sep 9 2021This month of Editors' Picks saw us award the honor to a couple of redesigned stalwarts like the Honda Civic and Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Plus, a new crossover that splits the difference between the compact and subcompact class takes home the prize. On top of this, we'll introduce you to a new term: midcompact. We'll be using this to describe those in-between crossovers that are a tad too small to be considered compact, but too large to neatly fit into the subcompact class. For a few examples of these "midcompact" cars, we'll point you to the Ford Bronco Sport, Kia Seltos and VW Seltos. In case you missed our previous Editors' Picks posts, here’s a quick refresher on whatÂ’s going on here. We rate all the new cars we drive with a 1-10 score. Cars that are exemplary in their respective segments get EditorsÂ’ Pick status. Those are the ones weÂ’d recommend to our friends, family and anybody whoÂ’s curious and asks the question. The list that youÂ’ll find below consists of every car we rated in August that earned an EditorsÂ’ Pick. 2021 Genesis G70 2022 Genesis G70 View 26 Photos Quick take: Genesis hits all the right buttons with its G70. It's attractive, fun to drive and can be had for a fair price. Enthusiasts should give it a shot before taking home one of its German competitors. Score: 8 What it competes with: Alfa Romeo Giulia, Lexus IS, Acura TLX, Infiniti Q50, Audi A4, BMW 3 Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Cadillac CT4, Volvo S60 Pros: Sharp handler, stunning exterior looks, strong engines Cons: Average interior, loses manual option, small backseat and trunk From the editors: News Editor Joel Stocksdale — "I was already a big fan of the Genesis G70. It has brilliant handling, and the twin-turbo V6 is a beast. It's even a bargain against the competition. And Genesis just made it look a lot better. I wish they'd done a bit more to update the interior, but it's still not a bad cabin. Besides, you won't think too much about it when you're hustling down a fun back road." Features Editor James Riswick — "Yes, it is small, but in a sport sedan segment where "sport" means increasingly less, the G70 still delivers (in part because of that smallness).
