 This was my fathers Suburban, and it has no problems.  It has a dent in the back bumper from backing into the neighbors pickup, my father can not see that well, so he cracked the glass on the mirror some how and but a couple of little dings on it.  But he maintained it meticulously. AND IT ONLY HAS 60,000!!!  If you need a big sub, this is a great buy, in fact I want to keep it, but will let it go for less that what you will pay at the dealer, as from what I can find is under $15,458 because it comes with a wheel chair carrier and crane, you can sell those if you do not want them.  I will sell it for 14,000 and get something smaller.  I think there is a problem with the remote tire air pressure censer.  My dad paid $48,000.00 + the crane to be hooked up back in 2006.  Most of the time in was garaged when he was overseas and it was used in California where there is no salt, so it has no rust. There is a towing package, but it was never used. It also comes with a wheel chair carrier and crane.  It also has an alarm.

Vert-A-Pac train cars kept your Chevy Vega's price in check

Our apologies to those who've seen this before, but for the rest of the class, how awesome are these pictures of the Vert-A-Pac shipping system General Motors came up with to ship the Chevrolet Vega back in the 1970s? Developed along with Southern Pacific Railroad, GM was able to double the amount of Vega models it could ship by packing them into the unique storage cars vertically.
At the time, rail cars could fit 15 vehicles each, but Chevrolet was able to lower shipping costs by making it possible to ship 30 Vegas per rail car, in turn allowing the price of the Vega to remain as low as possible. Each rail car had 30 doors that would fold down so that a Vega could be strapped on, and then a forklift would come along and lift the door into place. All the cars were positioned nose down, and since they were shipped with all of their required fluids, certain aspects had to be designed specifically for this type of shipping, including an oil baffle in the engine, a special battery and even a repositioned windshield washer reservoir. These are the 'Greenest' and 'Meanest' cars in 2015

As has become tradition, the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) has come up with a ranking of what it refers to as the "greenest" cars of 2015, and, by way of contrast, a list of the so-called "meanest" cars, so those who value eco-friendliness over all else can choose which vehicles they should or should not consider buying. As you may expect, electric cars make up the majority of the greenest cars on the list, but, perhaps surprisingly to many, the Tesla Model S didn't make the cut. It's worth noting, too, that where the electricity an owner uses to charge their electric vehicle has a big impact on its overall environmental impact. "A car that is charged using electricity generated from natural gas or renewables is going to have significantly less impact on the environment than one charged on a coal-heavy grid," says ACEEE lead vehicle analyst Shruti Vaidyanathan. The ACEEE's list for 2015 looks very different than it did in 2014. It's an interesting collection, though – and we're sure this goes without saying, really – we'd recommend doing a bit more research into each vehicle and how it might fit into your daily life before making any purchase decisions.
