TOO NUMEROUS TO LIST BUT HERE IS A FEW DIAMOND EYE COMPLETE SINGLE EXHAUST FROM THE TURBO BACK 4 INCH TO STAINLESS 5 INCH TIP LEFT HAND FUEL TANK AND STRAPS DUAL TANK SWITCH WIPER SWITCH GLOW PLUGS GLOW PLUG CONTROLLER WITH A SWITCH TO OVERRIDE ON DASH REBUILT INJECTION PUMP AND INJECTORS BLOCK HEATER OIL COOLER AND LINES ALTENATOR HIGH TORQUE STARTER VACUMN PUMP REAR SHOCKS REAR SWAY BAR BUSHINGS FRONT BRAKES AND CALIPERS HYDRABOOSTER ALL AIR CONDITIONING COMPONENTS FAN CLUTH HD AND BATTERIES AND CABLES ARE FAILRLY NEW MANY MANY MORE HAVE MOST ALL RECIEPTS. RIGHT FUEL TANK LEAKS BUT HAVE A REPLACEMENT TANK ALREADY PAINTED(WILL TALK ABOUT IT LATER AS A PACKAGE DEAL TO BUYER) LEAKS OIL AROUND THE FRONT OF ENGINE, I WAS GOING TO REPLACE THE WATERPUMP FRONT TIMING CHAIN AND GEARS AND FRONT SEAL ALL AT ONCE. POWER WINDOWS WORK BUT FRONT LEFT IS WEAK POWER LOCK WORK BUT FRONT LEFT IS FUSSY MAY NEED FRONT SHOCKS AT SOME POINT FRONT TIRES ARE 60% REAR ARE 30%. TRUCK RUNS AND DRIVES DECENT BUT IS NOT A HIGHWAY TRUCK. IT HAS 4:56 GEARS AND NO OVERDRIVE. WILL RUN 60 MPH BUT I WOULDNT RUN MUCH MORE THAN THAT FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME. I WAS GOING TO SWITCH TO 3;54 GEARS AND AN OVERDRIVE TRANSMISSION AT SOME POINT. IT USUALLY GETS 12 TO 15.5 MPG DEPENDING ON WEATHER AND HOW YOU DRIVE. BODY IS FAIRLY SOLID AND RESTORABLE AND THAT IS WHAT I WAS GOING TO DO TO IT. FRONT SHEET METEL IS NEW AND GRILLE AS I HAD THEM FROM A PRIOR SUBURBAN SO I PAINTED THEM AND PUT ON A COUPLE YEARS AGO. DOORS AND ROCKERS ARE FAIRLY SOLID AS I ALWAYS KEPT THEM OILED UP. CAB CORNERS SHOULD BE REPLACED AS LOWERS ARE RUSTED. BED IS FAIRLY SOLID ANS STRAIGHT. DUALLY FENDERS HAVE FEW CRACKS IN THEM. TAILGATE WAS STRIPPED AND PRIMED AND READY FOR PAINT SILVERADO BAND ON TAILGTE IS DECENT SHAPE. MY INTENT WAS TO TAKE IT OFF THE ROAD AND FINISH IT. cANT DO THIS AT THIS TIME AS HEALTH ISSUES FORCE ME TO SELL. Fullsize GM SUVs have a problem that's making owners sick
Thu, Dec 31 2015Some fullsize SUV owners are getting sick, thanks to a buffeting and vibration problem in 2015 model year examples of the Chevy Tahoe and Suburban, Cadillac Escalade, and GMC Yukon. According to owners' complaints to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the issue can vary from an annoying vibration inside the cabin to an experience so severe that it leads to dizziness and headaches. General Motors is aware of the complaints, but the fix isn't so simple. According to spokesperson Tom Wilkinson to Autoblog, the company "has been tracking this issue for a while." The problem has a fairly low incidence rate, but when it does occur the issue can be "uncomfortable and annoying for owners." There's no precise cause for the issue, Wilkinson claims, and in some cases, simply balancing the tires or changing the door seals can make it go away. However, not all of the fixes are so simple. AutoGuide dug deep into the problem and discovered a GM preliminary information bulletin that advised dealers to remove the headliner and to check the roof's bonds to the bows that go across the vehicle. However, that document included a note that the solution might not entirely eliminate things. According to AutoGuide, adding Dynamat insulation to the roof sometimes helped the problem. A GM spokesperson also told AutoGuide the company fixed the problem at the end of the 2015 model year, and didn't go into any more detail. This roof issue seems linked to some of the worst droning in these SUVs. According to one complaint from a 2015 Suburban owner to NHTSA: "Roof will not remain attached to the roof bows. This causes the buffeting similar to a window being down when all are up. The results span from annoying to painful." A 2015 Yukon owner claims to have another alleged cause for the problem in a NHTSA complaint from February 2015. This person brought their SUV to the dealer seven times over the course of four weeks for vibrations. The dealer replaced the driveshaft, suspension components, and more, but nothing worked. According to an engineer to the service adviser: "In an effort to prevent roll overs, they designed the frame and body mounts too stiff. There are 40 engineers working on issues, they have no solutions that work across the board." Wilkinson told Autoblog that GM is working with customers on an individual basis to rectify things. Since these are newer vehicles, dealers should also fix the problem under warranty.

GM recalls Cadillac ATS and Chevy Impala for separate issues
Fri, Feb 27 2015The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration added two recalls from General Motors in the government organization's daily update of safety campaigns. Both were for failing to meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards but for completely separate reasons. The larger recall covers 58,698 units of the 2013-2015 Cadillac ATS, but it doesn't really carry huge safety concerns. In vehicles produced between April 25, 2012, and February 9, 2015, the controls for the tilt and slide of the moonroof are not recessed enough, as required by federal law. According to NHTSA, it's possible that someone could inadvertently activate the auto-close for the roof panel, which the agency claims increases "the risk of personal injury." Dealers will install a new trim plate that will add the necessary clearance. The other campaign covers 1,177 examples of the 2014 Chevrolet Impala from between November 15, 2012, and May 27, 2014. However, this is actually a repeat of a previous recall on the Chevy and the Cadillac XTS from 2014. The affected Impalas here "were remedied incorrectly" under the earlier campaign, according to NHTSA. On these sedans, it's possible the electronic parking brake might not fully disengage and still remain in some contact with the rotor, which is in violation of federal rules. The fault can cause excessive heat from the brakes that could potentially lead to a fire, according to NHTSA. To fix the problem, dealers will reprogram the electronic parking brake control module.
