2003 silverado 2500hd duramax, excellent truck, runs and drives great, has only 134k miles but will increase because I drive the truck daily. Everything works as it should on truck and it uses nor leaks any fluids. 4x4 works great and allison transmission shifts as it should. The body is not perfect by any means but still looks great, gets looks and compliments all of the time. In the last 10k miles or less I have replaced all ball joints with new moog problem solvers, installed fabtech heavy duty tie rod ends, center links and bushings, moog pitman and idler arms, billstein 5100 series shocks front and rear, extra capacity rear differntial cover,  Bosch 45%over fuel injectors still under warranty, an Air dog 200 gph lift pump with water and air seperator and new fuel filter. Truck is EFI Live tuned professionally with 5 position switch, has glow shift fuel pressure, boost and egt guages which I have not hooked up the fuel fitting for the fuel guage, Bills custom intake with 4" tube, Bills custom 4" turbo horn, S&B filter, billet caterpillar fuel filter adapter with Cat filter, turbo boost increase valve, 4" Diamond Eye straight pipe exhaust. I also replaced the stepper motors in the guage cluster about two years ago. Truck has 18 inch motometal wheels with nitto trail grappler tires that have almost no wear on them, also has JVC stereo head unit with aux port and usb port, still has bose speakers and bose factory amplifier. I also still have the stock headlights and stock un-tuned ecm that goes with the truck. Truck is reliable and I would drive it anywhere.

Please do not bid unless you are a serious buyer, buyer responsible for shipping or pick up, $500.00 Paypal deposit required within one hour of auction end by winner, I will accept cash, paypal, or certified check meaning transaction will be completed after my bank has verified funds. Thanks.

Watch this time-lapse build of the Chevy SS for NASCAR

Fri, 08 Feb 2013

There's only about a week left until we get our first look at the production version of the 2014 Chevrolet SS sedan, but Chevrolet NASCAR teams have been looking at the race version of the car all winter. Autoweek has posted a really neat time-lapse video showing just a portion of what it takes to build one of NASCAR's new Gen6 stock cars.
Though the video is quite brief, it does show almost the entire build process starting with just the car's nose, and it gives us a good look at how integral the template is to the final product. As a bonus, Hendrick Motorsports also provided some videos showing two of its teams performing pit stop tests over the winter. The second video shows some of the more detailed aspects of the racecar's rear end, including the stock-looking trunk cutout and a newly mandated rear bumper extension that will be used on super speedways like Daytona and Talladega.
To see what Team Chevy has been up to all off-season, check out all three videos posted after the jump.

2014 Chevrolet C7 Corvette wastes no time zooming into Jay Leno's Garage

Thu, 24 Jan 2013

Where else would you expect the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray to show up first? Although this time it isn't exactly in Jay Leno's Garage, Leno instead playing an away game at Brown's Classic Auto in Scottsdale, Arizona. Nor does Leno drive the car, instead taking an 11-minute walkaround of the new American sports car with General Motors design head Ed Welburn, the same man who recently brought by a string of classic Corvettes to the talk show host's California compound.
It is, admittedly, a love-fest for the American sports car now featuring 450 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque, but one that also features admissions about previous Corvette seats like "they were kinda rough," and the explanation that labeling the coupe "Stingray" means not having to call it "the base Corvette." On top of that, Welburn also explains the proper application of the term "dashboard." You can watch it all in the video below.

GM cutting production at two plants

Thu, Feb 26 2015

General Motors is continuing to adjust to excess supply of some of its brands' models. To get production more in line with the vehicles' actual demand, the automotive giant is idling two of its factories in North America in the coming months. The Orion Assembly plant is going to be down from March 9-13, according to an anonymous plant worker and another insider speaking to Automotive News. The factory builds the Chevrolet Sonic and Buick Verano, but there are plenty of both models sitting on dealer lots, including 216 days worth of Sonics, according to AN. The factory already had two idle periods announced to reduce the excess. In addition, downtime is scheduled at GM's "Flex" line at the Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, plant from April 13-17. This affects supply of the Chevrolet Camaro, Impala, Buick Regal and Cadillac XTS. Among them, the automotive giant has the largest supply of Regals ready for dealers with 213 days worth of them, according to AN. The future for the whole Oshawa factory is cloudy in general, though. There are rumors that it could close entirely in the future because the Camaro is leaving and the Regal and XTS might not last much longer than 2017. The Canadian government and the labor union there intend to put up a fight, though.
