2008 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Ltz Z71 Duramax Diesel 4x4 on 2040-cars
Corpus Christi, Texas, United States
If you have any questions feel free to email me at: annettaassaeturn@ukpals.com . Up for sale is my 2008 Chevrolet Ltz duramax z71. This is a very sought after color combination, graystone
metallic exterior with titanium interior. The truck is about as flawless as one can expect...I take pride in the
things I own and I'm a very meticulous person. The truck has been garage kept, waxed annually, and I spare no
expense when it comes to Maintenance...I have only used full synthetic motor oil and transynd transmission fluid.
The tires/wheels are fairly new, tires have around 80%-85% tread remaining, the size is 35x12.50r17. The truck has
a spray in bedliner, headache rack, toolbox, ranch hand front bumper, steps, turn over b&w gooseneck hitch and a
rancho 4" suspension kit with 9000 adjustable shocks....it rides much better than factory. The truck is fully
deleted from the turbo back with 4" exhaust and is tuned by korry Willis Efi live tuner with dsp5 in cab switch.
I can't imagine a cleaner 2008 duramax...
I've been overwhelmed with questions....so ill try and cover them here.
The truck has NEVER been smoked in.
The truck has NEVER had any body work performed.
The truck Has NO leaks or smoke whatsoever.
The truck has No rust nor has the underbody been spray painted black to make it look good in pictures.
There are NO scratches on the truck.
The bumpers and headache rack look brand new....shiny paint and no rust/scratches.
The windshield has no cracks.
The leather seats are in fantastic shape.
There are NO stains on the carpet or headliner.
There are NO holes in the dash where toggle switches used to be.
Everything on the truck works as it did when it was brand new....it needs NOTHING.
If I missed anything, please don't hesitate to ask. As stated above, I seriously doubt there is a cleaner 2008
duramax out there.

2014 Chevy Silverado priced from *$24,585, V8 gets better economy than Ford EcoBoost V6
Mon, 01 Apr 2013Chevrolet has thrown down the next hand in the pickup truck poker wars and revealed at least a couple of potential aces - depending on which numbers matter most to you. The 2014 2014 Silverado 1500 with its 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V8 gets 335 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, is mated to a six-speed automatic, can tow 11,500 pounds with the optional Max Trailer Package and costs the same as the outgoing Silverado, $24,585 (*including $995 destination fee). Chevy says the Silverado also stands atop the fuel economy charts when comparing any competitor with a V8 engine - and some competitors with V6 engines. The two-wheel drive model returns 16 miles per gallon city, 23 mpg highway, 19 mpg combined in two-wheel drive guise and 16 mpg city, 22 mpg highway and 18 mpg combined as a four-wheel drive.
For context around those numbers, the most fuel efficient V8-powered 2013 Ford F-150 pickups lose about two mpg in every metric compared to the Silverado, the 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost returning 16 city, 18 highway and 22 combined in two-wheel drive. However, that EcoBoost does have 365 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque. You can get a Ram 1500 with a 3.6-liter V6 that gets 25 mpg highway, but it has 305 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque. The 2013 Ram with the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 and its 395 hp and 407 lb-ft drops one mpg in every category to the Silverado. Its tow rating is 200 pounds beyond its nearest competitor, the F-150 with the Max Trailer Tow Package.
Elsewhere, the new Silverado gets a quieter cab with a redesigned interior, a new bed with improved load-management possibilities, disc brakes all around, tweaked steering and suspension, along with free standard scheduled maintenance for two years or 24,000 miles.
Chevrolet Malibu gets across-the-board price cuts, hopes to dig out of slump
Mon, 11 Feb 2013To say that things aren't going well for the newly redesigned 2013 Chevrolet Malibu is a pretty sizable understatement. Reports have been swirling about the Malibu getting an emergency design refresh, less than a year after its introduction, as well as having its production at the Fairfax Assembly Plant halted twice already this year for excessive inventory. Now, Motor Trend is reporting that the midsize sedan will be receiving price drops across the board ranging from $300 on a number of models up to $770 on the 1LT trim; offsetting some of MSRP drop, though, the destination charge has increased from $760 to $810.
Without destination, the entry-level Malibu LS now starts at $21,995, which is still about $300 more than a Honda Accord and about $300 less than the segment's top-selling Toyota Camry. This new pricing also drops the price of the Eco, 2LT and 3LT trims by $300. The LTZ trim has dropped by $415, meaning that the Malibu's top dog now starts at just under $30,000, excluding destination.
Here are the new starting prices for all eight of the Malibu trim levels compared to the previous prices for the 2013 model year (including destination):
Texas sues GM, saying it tricked customers into sharing driving data sold to insurers
Wed, Aug 14 2024Texas filed a lawsuit Tuesday against GM over years of alleged abuse of customers' data and trust. New car owners were presented with a "confusing and highly misleading" process that was implied to be for their safety, but "was no more than a deceptively designed sales flow" that surrendered their data for GM to sell. The suit contends that at no point was selling driving data ever even suggested as a possibility, putting GM in violation of the state's consumer protection laws. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is seeking a jury trial and at least $10,000 per offense (every GM car sold in the state since 2015) and a hefty add-on of $250,000 in cases where the victim was over 65. Texas seems to be flying high after a recent $1.4 billion settlement from Meta over other privacy concerns. This may well be a way to solve any pending budgetary issues in the Lone Star State.
