One of the holes is on the outer edge of the bottom part of the seat the other is on the outer side of the back support. Also the door jam (kick panel) on the passenger side is cracked and missing. That is it for the interior. The exterior the hood has a crease about 12 inches long in it but you can't hardly notice it unless you are looking for it. The tail gate has a quarter size dent in it as well. But other than that the body is in great shape."
This truck has been my daily driver and will be continued to be used as my daily driver until it is sold. The truck has some minor issues which I have listed. The truck runs great and has lots of power. It is the LT trim which means it has dual power seats, leather, steering wheel controls, dual climate control a/c, 6 disc in dash cd player radio and Bose premium sound. I have added after market running boards and AEM cold air intake system. I also have a Bully Dog chip and monitor that I will throw in with the purchase of the truck. The chip is NOT currently installed but it is very simple to install and would be happy to show how to install. My father bought this truck in 2008 as the second owner, when he bought it it had approximately 60,000 miles and I bought it from him at the end of 2010 and the only thing that I have had to change was the battery. He and I changed the oil between 3,000 -4,000 miles on a regular basis. Also the truck is being listed locally so the truck could be removed from the ebay listing at anytime. Man spent $75 on a truck that lasted 38 years
Mon, Jan 5 2015Absurd as it is, some buyers today are worried about getting their car to last throughout the term of their seven-year car loan. Minnesota resident Bob Sportel has the opposite issue: his Chevrolet truck seemingly won't die. Sportel needed a cheap ride to get to work when he took a job at a farmer's co-op 38 years ago, so he bought a rusty 1957 Chevy pickup for $75 from a farmer; at the time, the 20-year-old truck was almost as old as Bob was. After nearly four decades of daily driving and an estimated 300,000 miles, Sportel is still driving the truck today. Bolts secure a fender, Bondo secures the lights, what looks like a whole roll of duct tape keeps him sitting on the bench seat instead of in it. For a 58-year-old pickup that's never seen a garage or a new coat of paint – but did get its oil changed four times a year – that's not bad; Sportel thinks his repair bill hasn't got above $1,000 for the entire time he's owned the truck. Wed, Mar 9 2016You hear a lot about how the Chevrolet Nova was a sales flop in Mexico because "No va" means "it doesn't go" in Spanish; in fact, the Nova sold pretty well south of the border, and in any case most Spanish-speakers know that "Nova" means "new" in Latin and Portuguese. However, General Motors doesn't deserve to be let off the hook for bad car names, because the Oldsmobile Achieva— no doubt inspired by the excruciating "coffee achievers" ads of the 1980s— scrapes the biggest fingernails down the screechiest chalkboard in the US-market car-name world. That is, unless you think Daihatsu's incomprehensible choice of Charade was worse. Meanwhile, Japanese car buyers could get machines with cool names like Mazda Bongo Friendee or Honda Life Dunk.
