This is a 2013 Silverado LT that I ordered 4 months ago. Due to financial issues I have to sell. Absolutely nothing wrong with it and its perfect. I wasn't happy with what they had at the dealership so I ordered this one. It has a 6.2 liter 403 hp V8, 4 wheel disk brakes, and 3.42 gears with locking differential, great for pulling. Its a loaded LT with backup camera and upgraded Bose stereo. Bucket seats and console, and power-sliding rear window. I then had the dealership install custom leather (Katzkin). Black leather with white stitching, HID 6000K headlights and fog lights. I also had them level it by installing the Rough Country 2.5 inch level lift kit. I removed the stock lower deflector and plasti-dipped the lower front bumper black, will peel off reveling the stock silver valence if you wish. Also removed bow-tie on tailgate because its cleaner looking in my opinion. Still have it and can re install if desired. Other than that its stock and not molested. If the buyer wants I can have the dealership return everything to stock if you wish. Also have the stock cloth interior too. Has 5 year 100,000 mile power-train warranty, 3 year 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty and 2 years of scheduled free maintenance. I have a over $45,000 in this truck, of course I know it wont bring that it depreciated when I drove it off the lot. I do have a loan on it. If you have any questions feel free to email me and I will be happy to answer them. Really don't want to sell it but I need to...

The 2014 Chevrolet SS sedan is for drivers who value performance above all else
Sat, 16 Feb 2013The car you see above is the 2014 Chevrolet SS, and it's important both because it is the first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan from Chevy in 17 years, and because it will be the nameplate the brand uses on NASCAR tracks all across the country starting this year.
Though it wears a name as American as baseball and apple pie, the machine was actually designed and built in Australia, sharing most of its parts with the brand-new VF-model Holden Commodore. That said, the basic chassis bits are shared with other Chevrolet models like the Camaro and Caprice Police Patrol Vehicle.
While Chevrolet is happy to sell a Malibu or Impala to anyone looking for a mainstream family sedan, but the SS is reserved for buyers interested first and foremost in performance. Most sedans sold these days are front-wheel drive, which is great for everyday driving and when the weather goes bad, but the SS is instead a rear-wheel-drive vehicle aimed at enthusiasts who love to drive and who prefer speed and performance above all else.
Helicopter crashes on Top Gear Korea set while chasing Corvette ZR1
Mon, 11 Feb 2013The formula of Top Gear Korea is seemingly about the same as it is everywhere else in the world, including the flagship British original: involve interesting cars in fantastical situations with charismatic hosts. That prescription has proved to be pretty reliable over the years, and has lead to some truly memorable and exciting pieces of television.
Something like that was undoubtedly what the Korean producers were after when they lined up this segment - a drag race between a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 and an AH1 Cobra military helicopter. The planners almost certainly did not expect the filming of the segment to go quite as wrong as it actually did, with the helicopter actually crashing into the dirt after the "drag race" had been completed. Thankfully, we're told that no one was seriously injured in the crash, but the footage, in the video below, is pretty damn chilling to watch, nevertheless.
Why the Corvette is Chevrolet's billion-dollar baby
Thu, 28 Feb 2013Edmunds has worked up a piece that tries to figure out just how much the global Chevrolet Corvette economy is worth, a spitballed guesstimate putting the number at more than $2.5 billion with the proviso that the number is probably low. It starts by taking Corvette's new car sales of 14,132 units last year, which would equate to $714,725,900 (including destination) assuming ever car sold was a base coupe with no options. In the final tally, a little extra padding gets that number up to $750,000,000.
But that's not all. Consider this: Many of the almost 1.4 million Corvettes produced over the model's history are still on the road. There are new parts being produced and aftermarket companies like Mid-America Motorworks deaing business, that single Illinois company doing more than $40 million a year in sales. There are the Corvette events large and small, restorers who do nothing but Corvettes, salvage yards that deal only in used Corvette parts and the Corvette magazines where owners find all this stuff.
And then there are the Corvette-themed tchotchkes, every single one of which provides a tiny contribution to the huge licensing royalties that General Motors collects every year. The article admits there's no way to come to an accurate number, but it just goes to show how valuable one specific model can be to a company.
