2004 Chevy Silverado Full Ext Cab 4wd 4x4 Low Mile Clean Work Pickup No Reserve on 2040-cars
Frankford, Delaware, United States
You are looking at a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Extended
Cab 4WD 3-Door Pickup truck that has a powerful 5.3 L motor and ONLY 149,154 miles on it...has a lot of life left in it.... In the video I mention that the passenger door sticks, but my mechanic is fixing the door, it was just a small part in the handle. This truck is great looking, inside and out! The Carfax shows one accident in 2007, it was obviously fixed by insurance because there is no sign that anything ever happened. This truck was
used as a Division of Wildlife truck. The drivers are all took very good care
of this truck. The maintenance of this Silverado was done regularly and you can
tell this by the way it drives. In fact this truck was over maintained...A
schedule was kept and followed...If I covered up the odometer and took you for a drive and told you that
this truck had 60k on it you would believe me, by the way it drives. It is
tight on the road and drives well. Because of the miles this truck will sell
cheap. Look at what others are advertising similar pickups for...Every bit of
$10-$12k. This one sold NO RESERVE. The exterior is in great shape but has a few small scratches (see pics). The bed has a nice and durable bedliner. The tires are all matching radials and look
fine. Has a full size spare and a tow package in the rear! The interior is
SUPER clean. The seats are comfortable and look GREAT. There are no odors...Comfortable
seats 6 adults!!! The a/c blows cold in the 5 position and
the CD/cassette players work great! The 5.3L V8
VORTEC Engine starts right up, has plenty of power, and sounds great. The
transmission shifts smoothly. You can switch from 2-4 Wheel Drive RIGHT INSIDE THE
CAB!! If you are looking for a reliable,
reasonable, even LUXURIOUS worktruck that looks great, this truck is for you!!!!! This work truck
will drive you home wherever you need to drive. We will pick you up at the
Salisbury, MD airport or bus or train station during normal business hours or
by appt. We go the extra mile for you. We have been in business since 1948. |

GM to restore legendary Corvette damaged in sinkhole accident
Fri, Dec 5 2014Car lover's hearts' sank when they saw images of bent and destroyed classic Corvettes at the bottom of a sinkhole last February after the floor of the National Corvette Museum gave way. General Motors announced Wednesday it would restore the one millionth Corvette ever produced to its former glory. The 1992 convertible was heavily damaged when a 40-foot deep sinkhole opened beneath a bevy of rare cars at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Since then, GM has been slowly restoring the classic cars, though five of the eight that caught in the sinkhole were determined to be too damaged to repair. This November, the 2009 Corvette ZR1 Blue Devil was the first car to be returned in mint condition to the Museum, according to Autoblog. It suffered significant damage but was still drivable after being pulled out of the debris. The one millionth Corvette is still in bad shape. The automaker is estimating six months worth of work to restore the car, which sustained paint scratches, rear-suspension damage and a mangled front fender. Next-gen Chevy Cruze caught cruising in the cold
Wed, 13 Feb 2013Spy photographers have caught what looks like the next-generation Chevrolet Cruze out on snow patrol. The camo could be tricking our eyes, but it look like it has an even tidier, more rounded front end and even lower fenders in relation to the top of the hood. And either a chunk of camo has been wedged between the side mirrors and the doors, or the mirrors are up for revision, too.
The door handles have been moved up the side of the car, leading the way to a rear end that grows a bit in length. If the rumors are true, the coming second-generation Cruze sits on the new D2XX platform that will replace the Delta and Theta platforms at General Motors. A global architecture, the Cruze will be the first to get it, but it will underpin everything from next Chevrolet Volt to the Equinox and could be responsible for 2.5 million units by 2018. The next Cruze is expected to begin production in GM's Lordstown, Ohio plant in the third quarter of 2014.

Tue, Jul 29 2014Bentley has been awarded the Carbon Trust Standard for reductions of carbon, water use and waste production in manufacturing. The Carbon Trust is an organization that helps groups such as businesses and governments reduce carbon emissions, use of energy and resources, and waste output. From 2011 to 2013, Bentley reduced CO2 emissions by 16 percent per car manufactured, curtailed water use by 35.7 percent, and saw significant waste reductions. Darran Messem of Carbon trust says, "Bentley is clearly passionate about continuing to improve its environmental performance, which is reflected by the fact the company has consistently invested in new technology." Read more in the press release below. Chevrolet is giving 12 Volts to MBAs Across America. The organization will use the range-extended electric cars in its efforts to help MBA students learn from and work with small business owners. As part of the MBAs Across America program's first year, four students drove 8,000 miles to provide entrepreneurs with free business counseling. The program has expanded, and this year, teams of MBAs will use the Volts to travel to 25 cities to offer their services. Learn more about the partnership between Chevrolet and MBAs Across America in the press release below. A professor from the University of Michigan has found fuel cycle analysis to be too flawed to be relied upon for measuring CO2 impacts of transportation fuels. Professor John DeCicco of the university's Energy Institute feels that the flaws in calculating the carbon footprint of liquid fuel production and combustion make such lifecycle analysis impractical. He suggests, instead, to focus to carbon capture. Since capturing CO2 directly from a vehicle is probably never going to happen, DiCicco believes the solution is to capture carbon from the atmosphere in sectors outside of transportation. Says DiCicco, "Research should be ramped up on options for increasing the rate at which CO2 is removed from the atmosphere and on programs to manage and utilize carbon fixed in the biosphere, which offers the best CO2 removal mechanism now at hand. Such strategies can complement measures that control the demand for liquid fuels by reducing travel activity, improving vehicle efficiency and shifting to non-carbon fuels." Read more at Green Car Congress. Global transportation energy consumption is expected to increase by 25.4 percent by 2035, according to a report by Navigant Research.
