Up for auction is my 2001 Chevy Silverado LS Extended Cab 4.8L V8. I bought this truck new and have babied it from day one. Has 296,6xx miles, mostly easy highway miles from all my traveling for work. Never off-roaded or abused, very well maintained, have always used synthetic blend oil, performed all factory-recommended maintenance and driven it easy. Truck is mechanically very sound, runs great, A/C blows ice cold (colder than my 2011 Platinum F150, sadly...) and everything is in working order. Consistently gets 17 mpg on the highway. Michelin LTX tires with good tread remaining - I've owned 5 different sets of tires and these are by far the BEST. Awesome tread life, very quiet, great wet weather traction. Interior is very clean, only issue is the condition of the driver side armrest.

Known issues with the truck: leak in the windshield wiper fluid reservoir, two small dents, one in the tailgate and one at the rear bumper (see pictures), one corner of left taillight has a chip in it. Other upgrades:

With just a few days left in 2015, it's the perfect time to check out Evo's annual Car of the Year test to determine the greatest performance vehicle of the last 12 months. The writers' picks for the 11 finalists spanned a breadth of engaging models and included: Peugeot 208 GTi by Peugeot Sport, Lamborghini Aventador SV, Seat Leon Cupra Sub8, McLaren 675LT, Porsche 991 GT3 RS, Porsche Cayman GT4, Honda Civic Type R, Ferrari 488 GTB, Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, Lotus Evora 400, and Mercedes-AMG GT S. What did you expect when Chevrolet said it was bringing a new Corvette variant to the 2014 New York Auto Show? Maybe a sticker and trim package, like the C6 Corvette Grand Sport or a tie-in deal like the Black Widow car from Chicago? On the opposite end, maybe there was an even more hardcore Z06 waiting in the wings. Who knew?

Netflix to feature electric cars from GM and others in programming

LOS ANGELES — Netflix has unveiled a new star for some of its upcoming programming: electric vehicles from General Motors and other automakers. The streaming service announced an agreement on Thursday to feature vehicles including the Chevrolet Bolt, the electric GMC Hummer pickup and the Cadillac Lyriq in TV series and films "where relevant." The companies will highlight the partnership in a commercial featuring Will Ferrell that will air during the Feb. 12 Super Bowl. Netflix and GM called the agreement "part of a commitment to a more sustainable future." Financial terms were not disclosed. Netflix said it will help creators "better understand how EVs can complement and enhance their stories." Shows that will feature GM's electric vehicles include "Love is Blind," "Queer Eye" and "Unstable." Netflix productions also will include electric vehicles made by other automakers, the company said.
