For sale is a 1998 Chevy k1500 4x4 Z71 pickup. This truck has a ton of new parts and runs great. One thing that it needs is a new catalytic converter. The plow works great and was hardly used. Parts that have been replaced are; two new o2 sensors, exhaust donuts, new, muffler, new gas tank with sending unit and straps, new gas lines, all new stainless steel brake lines and rubber lines on the whole truck, new master cylinder, new front rotors, calipers, pads, 4 new shocks, 2 new tires, new tailgate hardware inside and out, new xl radiator, heater core, all coolant hoses on rad. and water pump were replaced, new water pump, thermostat, new external trans cooler, and a solid new rebuilt transmission with a 3 year transferable warranty. The truck comes with a bed liner, tool box, and a Meyers power angle snow plow that is in great shape. It has two new plow lights, and a spare hydraulic line. All the fluids on the truck have been changed; brake, motor oil, trans, transfer case, front differential, and rear differential, coolant. A full tune up was done on it which included plugs, cap, rotor, wires, air, fuel, and pcv filter. Also a new battery, alternator, belt tensioner, fuel filler neck, and probably some stuff i have missed. Previose owner fixed a little rust that was on top of the frame in front of the bed where the crossmember is do to mulch and dirt sitting in it and rusting it out. It has been repaired and welded up with new patch metal. The truck is sound and I have filled it with firewood and had no problem hauling it. The truck is in great shape, and as you can see everything has pretty much been replaced. The paint on the truck is in great shape and shines real good, and the body has no rust that i could find. it does have some scratches and dings from being used as a work truck. Interior is not ripped and is real clean. I was counting on a bad winter and didn't want the truck to break down so i replaced anything that needed to be. The truck doesn't smoke or knock, and shifts great, and 4x4 works great. The truck has a little 164,000 miles, and the trans might have 3,000 miles on it. it has power windows, locks, and mirrors, and vent visors. If there are any question just email me and ill get back to you asap. thanks

Fullsize GM SUVs have a problem that's making owners sick
Thu, Dec 31 2015Some fullsize SUV owners are getting sick, thanks to a buffeting and vibration problem in 2015 model year examples of the Chevy Tahoe and Suburban, Cadillac Escalade, and GMC Yukon. According to owners' complaints to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the issue can vary from an annoying vibration inside the cabin to an experience so severe that it leads to dizziness and headaches. General Motors is aware of the complaints, but the fix isn't so simple. According to spokesperson Tom Wilkinson to Autoblog, the company "has been tracking this issue for a while." The problem has a fairly low incidence rate, but when it does occur the issue can be "uncomfortable and annoying for owners." There's no precise cause for the issue, Wilkinson claims, and in some cases, simply balancing the tires or changing the door seals can make it go away. However, not all of the fixes are so simple. AutoGuide dug deep into the problem and discovered a GM preliminary information bulletin that advised dealers to remove the headliner and to check the roof's bonds to the bows that go across the vehicle. However, that document included a note that the solution might not entirely eliminate things. According to AutoGuide, adding Dynamat insulation to the roof sometimes helped the problem. A GM spokesperson also told AutoGuide the company fixed the problem at the end of the 2015 model year, and didn't go into any more detail. This roof issue seems linked to some of the worst droning in these SUVs. According to one complaint from a 2015 Suburban owner to NHTSA: "Roof will not remain attached to the roof bows. This causes the buffeting similar to a window being down when all are up. The results span from annoying to painful." A 2015 Yukon owner claims to have another alleged cause for the problem in a NHTSA complaint from February 2015. This person brought their SUV to the dealer seven times over the course of four weeks for vibrations. The dealer replaced the driveshaft, suspension components, and more, but nothing worked. According to an engineer to the service adviser: "In an effort to prevent roll overs, they designed the frame and body mounts too stiff. There are 40 engineers working on issues, they have no solutions that work across the board." Wilkinson told Autoblog that GM is working with customers on an individual basis to rectify things. Since these are newer vehicles, dealers should also fix the problem under warranty.
2014 Chevy Silverado High Country spied wearing trappings of new luxury trim
Wed, 03 Apr 2013Spy photographers have spotted the new Chevrolet Silverado High Country and GMC Sierra Denali out on public streets for a little testing. From the looks of things, the Silverado will receive a much-differentiated front fascia along with special badges and those honking 20-inch chrome wheels. Expect to find a more posh interior as well. Likewise, the Sierra Denali will wear a tweaked nose with the familiar Denali bling. The one of the GMC trucks spotted here rolls on 21-inch gunmetal wheels instead of the 20-inch chrome pieces of the High Country.
Word has it both trucks will go on sale after the Texas State Fair this summer. While General Motors hasn't said for certain what we can expect to find under the hood, we'd be surprised to see anything outside of the range of engines found in the standard Silverado and Sierra models. That means buyers should be able to get their hands on the efficient, 23-miles per gallon 5.3-liter V8.
