Chevvy s10 Tahoe. I bought this truck and put a good amount of miles on it. it currently has 171k. 4w/2wd option. everything is mechanically up to speed except the engine. I put a new fuel pump, gas tank, gas filter, radiator, thermostat, spark plugs, spark plug wires, cap, torsen keys for the 3 inch lift, brand new battery purchased a month ago, with a power on/off switch (lift up the hood and connect the switch to the battery when you want battery power so you will never have problems with the wiring and can always trust that the car wont waste and exert the battery's power when you don't need to use the truck). So basically i bought the truck, and wanted to make sure that i could continue to use it for the next ten years, so i fixed everything up that will make it a beast-of-a-snow-plow-machine and put nearly 2500$ into it. And then one day last month the engine died on me. The wiring to the dashboard must have been mixed up because the dash read 40/120 for oil, when there was no oil, not even a drop, so I continued to ride it thinking that there was 33% oil in there so I'm fine, and then the engine seized. I do not know how to disassemble the parts so you can use a tool to lubricate oil throughout the pistons and get the engine fill of oil, and ready to work again. So I am going to sell what I have and hope someone knows how to fix it so you dont have to purchase a whole new engine......MY    plow system is all working properly. The wiring is all ready all you need to do is plug in the plow and attatch it and you are able to control it. I bought that separately for 1700$ and am deciding to throw it in with the truck purchase. . The value of the truck is roughly 1000$. I put nearly 2500$ into the mechanics of the truck, and am throwing in the five tires i have, a tool box for the back, the trailer hitch for hauling, and another set of chrome mirrors which are a little dirty and are sitting in the toolbox. Roughly a spendature of 6500$ for my assets plus whatever the service at 52$ an hour cost. So if you want to make money entrepreneurship hauling things and moving snow, with a big ass, cool black tinted truck, and can fix the engine, then text me at 6306999181 in SAINT CHARLES and i've my clean title. Text me for extra pictures i have of the things that i am throwing in (spare tire, plow, brakes pads, engine oil and fluent, tool box, mirrors) ACCEPTING BEST OFFER IN CASH OR pay pal

There once was a time when Daewoo was one of the biggest companies in South Korea. It was larger than both LG and Samsung, and second only to Hyundai. But these days the name is all but gone.

GM recalling over 243,000 crossovers over possible seat belt defect

2010 Buick Enclave - Click above for high-res image gallery
The summer of 2010's recall hit parade continues unabated today, with General Motors having just announced that it is asking 243,403 owners of its 2009-2010 Lambda crossovers to bring their three-row haulers in for inspection. The culprit? Second-row seat belts in select Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia, and Saturn Outlook CUVs have "failed to perform properly in a crash."
According to GM, a second-row seat-side trim piece is to blame, as it can impede the upward rotation of the buckle after the seat is folded flat. As a result, if the buckle makes contact with the seat frame, cosmetic damage can occur, potentially requiring additional force to operate the buckle properly. So far, no great shakes, but in the process of applying that additional force, the occupant may push the buckle cover down to the strap, potentially revealing and depressing the red release button. As a result of this, the belt may not latch, or in certain cases, it may actually appear to be latched when, in fact, it isn't.

Looking back on our favorite cars of Mad Men

Tue, Apr 7 2015

The second half of the seventh and final season of Mad Men debuted this week, set to cap a run of public and critical acclaim. A decade's worth of interesting cars also made for good television, if you were paying attention. Vehicles didn't often steal the spotlight from Don, Betty, Roger, Joan and the gang, but they added meaningfully to the tone and beauty of the series. We sorted through the wheeled extras from Mad Men's archives, and choose some of our favorites to highlight. The list consists of cars that had at least a small impact on the plot of an episode, though certainly there are worthy gems hiding in just about every street and driving scene. Check out our subjective top five, and then let us know which of the Mad Men cars would be on your list. 1962 Cadillac Coupe DeVille – Season 2 Don Draper's Cadillac Coupe DeVille, all 500 feet of it, shows up in a few seasons of the show, but it's the first appearance that sets the tone. A Cadillac salesman, cut from the same cloth as Draper, asks what Don drives right now. "A Dodge," Don admits. "Those are wonderful if you want to get somewhere," allows the salesman, "this is for when you've already arrived." For a man on the move up corporate and social ladders that's a powerful message, and a pitch-perfect car. 1961 Lincoln Continental – Season 3 The most stylish Lincoln Continental ever is perfect set dressing for the mod show, of course. Though it's interesting that the car isn't cast as dapper Draper's ride, but rather his father-in-law's. Grandpa Gene does what all great grandfathers are bound to: lets his granddaughter Sally drive the big Lincoln while he works the pedals. Generational bond secured, in fine fashion. When you go back through the first three seasons of the show, you'll notice that Continentals show up more than once, too. There's nothing quite like them to evoke the best of the early '60s. 1963 John Deere 110 – Season 3 The only non-standard passenger vehicle on the list, no self-respecting gearhead/Mad Men fan should quibble with the inclusion of the John Deere 110 riding mower. For starters, the Deere is lovely to look at; a miniature version of the American Heartland icon in its green and yellow duds. The 110 appears as if milled from a solid block of steel, just the opposite of today's sleek, plasticky lawn minders (we're scouring Craigslist for one to bring home). The John Deere also has dear ramifications to the plot, too.
