This is an awesome, very hard to find, in this condition especially, 1977 Chevrolet (GMC) 4 wheel drive  4wd C-20 / C20 Custom Deluxe pickup truck that is in excellant condition with flaking rust to underbody and bed. Rust to inside front fender wells which would have to be replaced as they are worn out.  My pictures will show the wear.

The NADA (classic car book price) average retail price for this vehicle is $10,050.00 and lowest retail would be $4,624.00 but that would be in fair condition, which I believe this truck is in good condition which would be the average retail price!  Therefore making this ANTIQUE (36 yrs. old) truck a great price!

We have all the documentation and reciepts from original purchase of vehicle and the repairs which include:

It has a 350 c.i. GMC factory installed engine that only has 16,000 miles on it and odemeter reading is only 93,000 miles also the transmission was overhauled at 75,987 miles as that was when the engine was replaced as well.

Radiator was replaced at 92,127 miles and starter at 51,000 mi. has barely used battery and seat has been replaced also and is in great condition.

It also has chrome wheel hubs that are in great condition outside of light rust.

We bought this Chevy truck from the original owner and even have the original purchase reciepts.

Truck has some light rust on bottom of tailgate, bottom rocker panels and front below the grill and floor of box has surface rusting and scratches as my pics will show.  But absolutely no holes or rust through.

Truck also includes cap as my pictures will show that is in good condition and does not leak.

Everything works great - truck runs super well with no other notible issues.

Please email me with any questions or for more pictures.

Vehicle for pick up only - call to make arrangements for viewing before bidding or buying only.  We are located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan

GM files for Z71 Trail Boss trademark

Mon, Jan 26 2015

Try as they might to keep their plans a secret, automakers have their hands tipped through a variety of methods – be they through loose lips, spy shots or patent and trademark applications. That's how we know, in this instance, that General Motors is working on (or at least considering) an off-road machine wearing the name Z71 Trail Boss – the name which our compatriots at AutoGuide.com tell us that GM has registered for use on light-duty trucks. Now if that alphanumeric designator sounds familiar, it should. GM has long used it to designate the off-road packages on many of its body-on-frame trucks from Chevy and GMC. These days you can order a Z71 package on the Chevy Colorado, Silverado, Tahoe and Suburban and on the GMC Canyon, Sierra and Yukon. The package typically includes components like a beefed-up suspension bits, high-capacity air cleaner and underbody protection plates. The Trail Boss designator would seem to suggest something further reaching than a suspension package, though. Just what it would entail we don't know; minds immediately start running toward Chevy or GMC going after the Ford F-150 Raptor, but we'll likely be looking at something closer to the Trailhawk packages Jeep offers on the likes of the Renegade and Cherokee. 2019 Chicago Auto Show photo gallery: All of the grilles

Fri, Feb 8 2019

Do you like trucks? How about grilles? Like really big, shiny, chromey, in-your-face, could-be-made-by-Broil-King grilles? Well, the Chicago Auto Show is the place to be. Traditionally known as the truck show of the annual auto show circuit (at least those covered by national media), Chicago has what seems like a small national park's worth of acreage devoted to both consumer and commercial trucks. From humble extended cab Ford Rangers to a mammoth F-650 with cherry picker sprouting from its aft quarters, there's bound to be a truck for everything. And they all have grilles. So above is our gallery devoted to them, because hell, why not? Should you want to know about the trucks attached to those grilles, check out our coverage below. 2016 Chevy Volt will not need premium gas

Wed, Oct 29 2014

Buried in the new technical details of the 2016 Chevy Volt released yesterday was a throwaway line about a small but important change that's due to the new 1.5-liter, four-cylinder engine. The first-gen Volt has always required premium gas but the new powerplant will be happy burning plain old regular. The Volt's chief engineer, Andrew Farah, told AutoblogGreen that the change was due to today's Volt owners explaining they were not happy paying for top-shelf petroleum. "The ability to use regular unleaded was based directly on customer feedback," he said. "Since the range extender is an all-new engine, it was optimized to use regular unleaded at the outset. Using regular fuel will not have effect on vehicle acceleration or other performance factors." As Larry Nitz, GM's executive director of vehicle electrification, told AutoblogGreen yesterday, the new engine is more powerful and quieter than the outgoing 1.4-liter engine that's used in the current Volt. Fuel economy and EV range specs for the next-gen Volt are not expected until the full car is revealed at the Detroit Auto Show in January.
