1964 Chevrolet C10 Truck, 42,157 Original Miles on 2040-cars
Acworth, Georgia, United States
1964 Chevrolet C-10 Truck This is a local truck that was bought new at Anderson Chevrolet here in Marietta, Ga., and it has had only 4 owners since new, and only has 42,157 original miles on it since new. 1st owner Vernon C. Krause owned it until the early 80's, and it was garage kept. Then it was given to Albert Carlile, who owned Auto Electric in Marietta, Ga., since he kept it up for the original owner when he got to old to drive. It was repainted in the early 80's and it's not the best of paint jobs, but it was a decent one. When Albert got to old to drive it, it was sold to a local who drove it on weekends only, and he sold it to Bill last year, and Bill wants a truck of mine so he is going to let it go to a new owner. The wood in the bed is original, and was preserved because it had a camper shell on it since new, and when Albert had it he took it off before he sold it. The interior is all original, and still looks great. The truck is original except for distributor which was changed to electronic, alternator, and paint, with only 42,157 miles with one owner title. Runs, and drives just like it did when new. A great truck that you can go any where in. It has a few dings, and paint touch up, but nothing bad. You are welcome to come out, and inspect the truck before auction ends. Sold on a bill of sale with current registration, and all the original paper work shown in photo's. Comes with a full tank of non ethonal gas. All zero feedback bidders please check with me before bidding are I will have to cancel your bid. Bill reserve's the right to end the auction early. Thanks Terry |

2022 Genesis GV70, raging at VW ID.4 tech and thoughts on a new Lexus LFA | Autoblog Podcast #696
Fri, Sep 17 2021In this episode of the Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Senior Editor James Riswick. This week, they talk about driving the Genesis GV70, VW ID.4 and VW Taos. They talk about ways Chevy could "fix" the Camaro. James ranked all the James Bond films based solely on their starring cars. Next, they reach in the mailbag and discuss the question, "Do you think Lexus will make a successor to the LFA and, if so, what do you guys think it would be like?" After ruminating on that query, they dip into the mailbag a second time to recommend a sporty crossover to a listener in this week's Spend My Money segment. Send us your questions for the Mailbag and Spend My Money at: Podcast@Autoblog.com. Watch a 2015 Corvette Z06 run the quarter in 11.7 seconds
Sun, Dec 28 2014We're not writing about this because it's an amazing run, we're writing about it because it appears to be the first run. Someone took a 2015 Corvette Z06 to Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown, Texas and blasted it down through the quarter mile. It's still wearing the dealer number in wax pen on the windshield and dealer plates, so this example is fresh from the mold. It's also a seven-speed manual. General Motors said the row-your-own Z06 can do the 'strip in 11.2 seconds, and they undoubtedly had a professional driver and more than one run to set that time. To have Just Some Guy show up at the raceway and do an 11.7 at 120.54 mph on his first run means we expect good things to come as Z06s get delivered to their owners. Check out the run in the video.
