I have an extremely straight 1959 fleetside p/u. that has none of the lower cab or hinge rust that you find in most trucks like this. this is the straightest body and bed that i have ever seen ( from what i can tell original body panels ) the dash is uncut original also. drivers door glass has a crack . back window has original green tint. the front of bed and tailgate are straight ( you never find them this straight ) it has a small block 350 ci and turbo 350 trans . engine has a real nice sounding cam holley carb and headers with new dual exhaust. Posi rear end. i have driven it about ten miles and it drove nice it shifted like it has a shift kit . drove straight the manual steering kinda hard on the arms. i ran it for awhile the other day and it ran a little hot maybe a head gasket ( it was 118 deg outside ) have not had time to see if it has a problem or just to hot outside. it does have a new cross flow raditor single row.it does need new bushings in driver side hinge and needs new right side hood hinge. i pick it up to build a drag truck but it is to nice to cut it up. and i need to move cross country now so it needs to go. i also have it listed local and may cancel listing at any time. if you want a buy it now let me know we may be able to work it out like i said it has to go. i had it listed and had to cancel because ebay was showing it to be in a different area and could not fix the add. I would like a deposit of $500.00 in paypal within 24 hrs your can email any questions through ebay i will answer asap Thanks for looking.

Watch this creative way to pull a truck's engine
Fri, 08 Mar 2013Living in an apartment complex has its benefits, but for shade-tree mechanics who like/need to work on their own cars, it definitely has a number of disadvantages. Relatively simple tasks such as brake jobs and oil changes are difficult when you don't have dedicated driveway space, to say nothing of more in-depth repairs... like pulling an engine, for example.
For these types of challenges, a little ingenuity and plenty of muscle are needed to get the job done. Scroll down to watch these four men snatch the V8 out of a Chevrolet K1500 using nothing but a chain, landscape timber and good ol' fashioned brute strength. Good work, gentlemen.
Hot Wheels Camaro to make big debut at Indy
Fri, 05 Apr 2013Chevrolet handed over the keys to 33 Hot Wheels Camaro Convertible Indianapolis 500 festival cars this week. Race directors get the luxury of driving the droptops around Indianapolis in an ongoing tradition with roots all the way back to the 1960s. The stunt is supposed to remind area residents that the Indy 500 is right around the corner. The cars are our first look at the special Camaro Hot Wheels Edition in convertible form, and they are slated to head to dealers after a one-time production run. The cars also represent the first time in history full-size Hot Wheels have been offered for sale by an automaker.
The cars will be available in both the previously seen coupe bodystyle and this convertible configuration, and will feature metallic blue paint and special wheels with the iconic redline accent. Buyers will be able to choose between the V6-powered 2LT trim and the V8-powered 2SS guise.
Hot Wheels says the original Custom Camaro toy was one of the original 16 1:64-scale diecasts, and it remains one of the company's most valuable collector items today.
