This is a beautiful 1959 Chevrolet Apache with very low miles on a professional frame off restoration. Frame was totally sandblasted and painted with POR15 to last for many years to come. Lowered about 2 inches. Powered by a rebuilt 327 and Muncie 4 speed that runs very strong. Bored .030 with a 350 crank. The engine compartment is smoothed with battery and master cylinder relocated. Power discs up front. All new bumpers, grill, tinted glass and many other new parts. Oak bed with stainless hardware and a chainless tailgate with stainless hinges. The color is Tartan Teal. This beauty is a mix of old school outside and Custom Leather Interior with custom built console and DVD/Stereo built in. This is a hands free blue tooth set up as well. GM recalling nearly 4,000 vehicles over airbag concerns

Four different General Motors vehicles from the 2012 model year are being recalled over a potential airbag issue. The driver's side airbag shorting bar in the 2012 Buick Verano and 2012 Chevrolet Camaro, Cruze and Sonic might make contact with the airbag terminals, even during a crash. If so, the airbag won't deploy when it should, possibly increasing injury to the driver.
The recall is expected to begin on February 13 for the 3,896 units that might be affected. GM will notify owners who can then take their vehicles to dealers to have the airbag coil replaced. A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration below has more info.

Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you

As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.
