For the balance, we accept bank to bank wire transfer, bank draft or cash in person only. All funds must be in-house and have cleared our bank before the vehicle leaves the premises. We charge a very fair and reasonable $99.00 fee for administration, insured postage and vehicle title transfers which is above and beyond the final vehicle sale price. All sales are final and if no deposit is made within 24 hours and/or the balance is not received in our account within 7 days, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or sell it otherwise.
Special Notes – Please give us a call or send an email if you have any questions or if you would like to request additional information about a vehicle. Information stated is represented as told to us from the seller/previous owner, from any receipts or documents we obtain and, by our own inspection of the vehicle. Please keep in mind we represent them as accurately as possible. All vehicles are sold “as is, where is.” We welcome and encourage inspections on the vehicle prior to the auction closing. If you have a feedback score of less than ten (10) please speak with us ahead of time or your bid will be cancelled. We reserve the right to cancel bids for excessive negative feedback. We reserve the right to end the listing if the vehicle sells locally or if it is no longer available for sale.
Shipping/ Pickup – We offer shipping services and you are welcome to arrange for your own. However, please keep in mind: often times you may think you are dealing with a shipping company when in fact they are a broker….and more often than not, they will bid low to get the job and that will create problems when it comes to actually scheduling the pickup and transport of your car. We ship very often and very frequently so if you would like a quote from us for this service, just ask! Please keep in mind all vehicles must be picked up from the facility within 14 calendar days of the final sales paperwork being received by TJ Hirsch Enterprises, Inc. After that time, storage fees are applicable up to the maximum allowed by New York State law.
Financing – Please have your finances in order prior to purchasing the vehicle. We have policies and timelines in place for vehicles sales transactions both for your convenience and also for the safe handling of funds. Delays in finances ultimately lead to a delay in you proudly receiving your new vehicle! So please address this in advance and also if you would like assistance with funding your new automotive investment, just inquire ahead of time and we can assist with funding options!
We would like you to get to know us: At our state-of-the-art facility we keep a fantastic selection of quality antique, exotic and muscle cars and have a friendly knowledgeable staff willing to assist with your vehicle needs. The rumored demise of the Opel Ampera has been confirmed, but there's good news, too. Opel CEO Karl-Thomas Neumann has been busy Tweeting information about the brand's next plug-in vehicle, admitting that the Ampera is on the way out but that plug-in vehicles are here to stay. His Tweets, in full, read: After the eventual run-out of the current generation Ampera, we'll introduce a successor product in the electric vehicle segment. Our next electric vehicle will be part of our massive product offensive – with 27 new vehicles in the 2014-2018 time frame. We see eMobility as important part of the mobility of tomorrow and we will continue to drive down costs & deliver affordability. As we learned earlier this week, the Ampera will not be refreshed when the current Chevy Volt is updated, most likely because of slow sales. Opel sold just 332 Amperas in the first five months of 2014. For now, General Motors is still building Amperas in Michigan for export to Europe. So, what might this new EV mean for the General Motors plug-in fleet? Official spokespeople are being quiet, but we think it's safe to say the new EV Neumann is talking about is not simply a rebadged Chevy Spark EV. This is the first official word about an entirely new EV, and we expect it will come to both the Chevrolet and Opel brands.

Where else would you expect the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray to show up first? Although this time it isn't exactly in Jay Leno's Garage, Leno instead playing an away game at Brown's Classic Auto in Scottsdale, Arizona. Nor does Leno drive the car, instead taking an 11-minute walkaround of the new American sports car with General Motors design head Ed Welburn, the same man who recently brought by a string of classic Corvettes to the talk show host's California compound.
It is, admittedly, a love-fest for the American sports car now featuring 450 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque, but one that also features admissions about previous Corvette seats like "they were kinda rough," and the explanation that labeling the coupe "Stingray" means not having to call it "the base Corvette." On top of that, Welburn also explains the proper application of the term "dashboard." You can watch it all in the video below.
