This is one of the COOLEST 1955 Chevy 3200 Series pickups you will probably find in this unrestored condition . We recently acquired the truck from the second owner who only had the truck a short time .
Who invested enough money into this truck from the heart to make it road worthy. To start the top half of the motor has been rebuilt including the head New wiring to the lights and blinkers to get it ready for inspection. New gas tank ,brakes brake cylinders ,shocks ect. The body is pretty solid for its age at this point will go through a inspection minor rust on the bottom of the passenger door running board and minor spots on the floor. The fenders look like they were patched early on around the headlights but everything can be repaired very solid truck. Other than the tires being at least 30 years old this truck is a driver. Glass is all good all electrical is good and working A SUPER PROJECT for someone to restore.
You just don't find them in this condition a true barn find you only hear about the stories. It appears to have been a gray in color back when ,but has since has been painted a dark blue with a brush but does still shine. To start this truck has not been on the road since 1985 . It has its original 235 straight 6 and manual shift transmission on the colum . This truck is very original. of course it has minor dents, dings, scrapes, some paint blends, and minor cancer to be expected for being over 59 years old.

GM Design shows what could have been and what might be
Thu, May 27 2021We periodically like to check in with GM Design's Instagram account to see what they're cooking up. Even better is when we catch a glimpse of an alternate history of what legendary designers from The General's past were thinking, though those ideas may not have made it into production. This week, for example, the account posted some illustrations from George Camp, whose career at GM spanned nearly four decades, from 1963 to 2001. One of the renderings is of what appears to be a 1971-72 Pontiac GTO Judge, but with two headlights instead of the production unit's quad beams. The rear departs from the canonical version most dramatically, with a massive integrated wing. Other bits that didn't make the production cut include large side vents, a gill-like side marker and rectangular intakes below the headlights that wouldn't be out of place on a modern design today. Amazingly, from what we can make out of the date, it appears that the drawing was done sometime in 1965, which makes it quite prescient. View this post on Instagram A post shared by GM Design (@generalmotorsdesign) There's also a very aerodynamic interpretation of a Corvette ZR-1. To our eyes it splits the difference between the 1986 Corvette Indy concept and a fourth-generation F-body Pontiac Firebird, so perhaps parts of Camp's work on this sketch did make it into physical form. There's also a radical sports car concept from May 1970 that resembles the Mazda RX-500 concept from the same year, a Syd Mead-looking Cadillac coupe, and an Oldsmobile with a cool take on the company's trademark waterfall grille and elements of the Colonnade Cutlass at the rear. Other recent posts include a FJ Cruiser-like off-road EV, a sleek coupe with the Chevy corporate grille, and a rendering of a Silverado-esque pickup that looks far better than the current production version. MotorWeek's 80's GM muscle coupe roundup includes Regal GN and Monte Carlo SS
Thu, Jan 29 2015Even with just four brands in the family, General Motors still represents a performance powerhouse. Between the Chevrolet Corvette Z06, Camaro Z/28, Cadillac CTS-V and ATS-V, The General can still deliver plenty of thrills. The 1980s, though, saw the brand go even crazier with performance. While the Camaro and Corvette were still around back in the day, GM had a number of other interesting performance offerings. The Bowtie was complemented by the long-deceased Monte Carlo SS, while the now-defunct Pontiac and Oldsmobile offered the Grand Prix and thumping 442, respectively. And Buick, which isn't short on performance with its Regal GS and Verano Turbo, offered a much more serious vehicle, in the form of the Grand National (not to mention the Darth Vader-spec GNX). MotorWeek, in its hugely entertaining retro flashbacks, looks back on these three long-lost GM performance icons, and it's just as good as you might expect.
