Family Emergency forces sale of all of my projects. This is a custom built 1955 chevrolet first generation pickup. The truck has many many options. It sits on a 83 s-10 frame with disc brakes front, drum rear. Frame was blasted and painted black. EVERYTHING on this truck is new except for the basic truck, and even that has alot of new. Starting with the cab, the inner and outer cab corners were replaced, along with both cowls and the lower pillars, all new. Doors were in good shape, but have new seals, along with new smoke glass, handles and locks. Dash gauges are new also. The engine is a 1984 small block chevy removed from a pickup that had only 43,000 miles and has been completely resealed and added a chrome oil pan, chrome overflow recovery tank, valve coveres, chrome hi amp alternator, billet pulleys, hei clear billet distributor, and chrome fuel pump. Also in the engine bay is a custom fitted aluminum racing radiator and an s-blade electric fan. The grill is a used custom fitted 1951 grill. There is also a new gas tank. The bed, even though these trucks came originally with pine beds, has a custom made spruce bed with new metal strips. I have a new front bumper, windshield and smoke rear glass that has yet to be installed. Tires are all new with used keystone classic wheels. New windshield wiper assembly / transmission arms. The wiring harnes is new but not installed yet. The only items off the top of my head remaining to be purchased is a starter, ignition wires, battery, a couple of battery cables, oil and antifreeze, exhaust, and fuel lines and some gas. This truck is almost finished, but family emergency makes it so I cant finish, but almost everything is there including the updated wiring harness with instructions, gray bench seat, front clear glass, rear smoke glass. Not included is a heater, or ac, (since the truck was mainly to drive during good weather only)  glove box door, starter, and battery. The truck was painted with eastwoods rat rod satin black, and some small dents / dings were intentionally left in to give the truck a rat rod effect. New digital tail lights, peep mirrors, headlights and buckets, eyebrows, front turn signals, all interior door handles, arm rests / door pulls, headliner, and visors. I have well over 15K invested in this truck not to mention the time so far and hate to see it go, especially before I got to drive it.

Ask as many questions as needed or you can have someone come by and inspect it, no problem, just contact me first to arrange time. Sale is as is where is.

COMES WITH A CLEAR UTAH TITLE AND BILL OF SALE.

I need a $500.00 non refundable deposit from a serious buyer at the end of auction and another $500 within 48 hours, despite what the formatted ebay thing says.We will pay pal invoice you or you can contact us through ebay for the other payment methods noted that are acceptable. Can help with loading on your hauling company, personal trailer, or can deliver to your door through our trucking company for $1.29 per mile.

8 cars we're most looking forward to driving in 2015

Mon, Jan 5 2015

Now that 2014 is officially in the books, it's time to look ahead. And following our list of the cars we liked best last year, we're now setting our sights at the hot new metal that's coming our way in 2015. Some of these, we've already seen. And some are still set to debut during the 2015 auto show season. But these are the machines that keep us going – the things on the horizon that we're particularly stoked to drive, and drive hard. Jeep Renegade Not the Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Not the Ford Mustang GT350. Not the new John Cooper Works Mini. Nope, I'm looking forward to the adorable, trail-rated Jeep Renegade. And that's because I really, really, really like our long-term Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. I do not, however, care too much for the Cherokee's looks, and I really don't like its $38,059 price tag. The Renegade Trailhawk, meanwhile, promises much of the same rough-and-tumble character as its big brother, but at what we expect will be a more reasonable price (I'm personally wagering on the baby Jeep's off-road model starting at no more than $23,000). With a 2.4-liter four-cylinder and a nine-speed automatic, it should also be a bit easier to fill than the V6-powered Cherokee. Also, I can't help but love the way the Renegade looks. It's like someone took a Wrangler, squished it by 50 percent and then handed it off to George Clinton for a healthy dose of funk. The interior, with its bright, expressive trims and color schemes should also be a really nice place to spend some time. I'll be attending the Renegade's launch later this month, so I'll have a much shorter wait than my colleagues. Here's hoping the baby Jeep lives up to my expectations. – Brandon Turkus Associate Editor Mazda MX-5 Miata Here's an uncomfortable truth: I'd rather spend a day driving a properly sorted Mazda MX-5 Miata of any generation on a winding road than I would nearly any other vehicle, regardless of power, price or prestige. It's not just that I prize top-down driving and enjoy the Miata's small size because it gives me more road to play with. I just find there's more motoring joy to be had with high-fidelity handling and an uncorrupted car-to-driver communication loop than I do with face-distorting power or grip – let alone valet-stand gravitas. But perhaps most of all, I love Miatas because they can deliver that level of feedback and driver reward at modest speeds that won't put the locals on edge or endanger lives – you can use more of the car more of the time.

Which electric cars can charge at a Tesla Supercharger?

Sun, Jul 9 2023

The difference between Tesla charging and non-Tesla charging. Electrify America; Tesla Tesla's advantage has long been its charging technology and Supercharger network. Now, more and more automakers are switching to Tesla's charging tech. But there are a few things non-Tesla drivers need to know about charging at a Tesla station. A lot has hit the news cycle in recent months with regard to electric car drivers and where they can and can't plug in. The key factor in all of that? Whether automakers switched to Tesla's charging standard. More car companies are shifting to Tesla's charging tech in the hopes of boosting their customers' confidence in going electric.  Here's what it boils down to: If you currently drive a Tesla, you can keep charging at Tesla charging locations, which use the company's North American Charging Standard (NACS), which has long served it well. The chargers are thinner, more lightweight and easier to wrangle than other brands.  If you currently drive a non-Tesla EV, you have to charge at a non-Tesla charging station like that of Electrify America or EVgo — which use the Combined Charging System (CCS) — unless you stumble upon a Tesla charger already equipped with the Magic Dock adapter. For years, CCS tech dominated EVs from everyone but Tesla.  Starting next year, if you drive a non-Tesla EV (from the automakers that have announced they'll make the switch), you'll be able to charge at all Supercharger locations with an adapter. And by 2025, EVs from some automakers won't even need an adaptor.  Here's how to charge up, depending on which EV you have:  Ford 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E. Tim Levin/Insider Ford was the earliest traditional automaker to team up with Tesla for its charging tech. Current Ford EV owners — those driving a Ford electric vehicle already fitted with a CCS port — will be able to use a Tesla-developed adapter to access Tesla Superchargers starting in the spring. That means that, if you own a Mustang Mach-E or Ford F-150 Lightning, you will need the adapter in order to use a Tesla station come 2024. But Ford will equip its future EVs with the NACS port starting in 2025 — eliminating the need for any adapter. Owners of new Ford EVs will be able to pull into a Supercharger station and juice up, no problem. General Motors Cadillac Lyriq. Cadillac GM will also allow its EV drivers to plug into Tesla stations.

Chevy Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo concept blends the past and the future

Wed, 19 Nov 2014

The Chevrolet Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo is the rare concept car that salutes a seminal moment in history, yet also borders on science fiction.
Revealed Wednesday at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the concept uses the name of one of Chevy's historic racing partnerships, with Chaparral Racing, which dates to the 1960s. Chaparrals raced successfully at a range of levels, including IndyCar, Trans-Am and SCCA competition.
But the history ends there, as the concept's main purpose is as a racecar in a downloadable update for the PlayStation 3 game Gran Turismo 6.
