The pickup came from Macon, GA, Not near the ocean (salt air), and has never been driven during a MIchigan winter.. i.e. Salty Roads. The Drive Train is all new, Corvettee LT1 engine, 400 turbo transmission. Corvette rally wheels, premium radials.The truck bed is an absolute one of a kind, hand painted steel, then clear coated, it will never change looks. All screws, nuts and bolts, are stainless steel. Includes matching trailer, carpeted with rally wheels. This 'froggy' truck has won "61', that's sixty-one, first place awards for a custom truck, in Georgia, Florida, Michigan, and Canada. And, it has been 'Driven' to all those shows. This is not a trailer queen! It has about 15,XXX miles since being completely redone. Yes it's driven and everything works! GM throttles back Chevy Malibu, Buick LaCrosse production over swollen inventories

As inventory of the Chevrolet Malibu and Buick LaCrosse continues to pile up, General Motors will be idling its Fairfax Assembly Plant for two weeks, according to Automotive News. This move comes about a month after the plant was shut down for three weeks in late December and early January for the same reason. As of January 31, the GM had a 94-day supply of Malibu stock while the LaCrosse was a little worse with a 117-day supply.
Just last week, GM announced that it would be investing $600 million in upgrading this plant, but it's unclear what future plans the company has in store for Fairfax considering slow sales of both the plant's models. We do expect a refreshed and more luxurious LaCrosse shortly and an early design update for the Malibu to be announced at some point this year, although we have had no official word as to when either will happen.

GM won't sell 2014 Chevrolet SS in Canada

Allow us to be the first to extend our condolences to our friends to the north. General Motors has announced the 2014 Chevrolet SS will not be available in Canada. The Globe and Mail reports the automaker has confirmed the high-performance sedan won't hit Canadian dealers, though GM hasn't offered up any reasoning as to why that is.
Buyers here in the US of A, meanwhile, can look forward to getting their hands on the 415-horspower, rear-wheel drive SS by late summer. Something tells us it won't be long after that before Canadian officials start seeing individually imported 6.2-liter V8 four-doors in their neighborhoods. Fortunately, Canadian buyers will still be able to take home the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette. The C7 bowed at the Canadian International Auto Show last week, reportedly drawing sizable crowds and interest.
