This truck was a daily driver for my friend and teacher. He left this to me and I don't have the heart to continue to let it be the project I get to "some day." This truck deserves to be your next project or toy. Please take a look at the pictures and ask any questions you may have about it. Here is some more information abou it:

We rebuilt the engine in-vehicle in 1999. We removed the 3 speed and put in a 4 speed with a real granny 1st gear (use 2nd to start off most times). I replaced the front leaf springs and installed power front disc brakes after he left. It has an electric fan in place of a traditional fan. We weren't sure why, but it was on the truck when he got it. The truck is running on radials but has a bias-ply spare. Custom front wheels were made to run original wheel covers. This keeps the discs hidden. There is a heater in the cab that I believe is 6v and the truck is 12v so there is a resistor to step the power down.

That is all I can think of about the truck. This is sold as is and the winning bidder is to arrange and pay for any and all shipping costs.

Chevy Sonic shreds like a skateboard

Despite the fact that the 2013 Chevy Sonic is a fun, plucky little thing - especially in ever-so-slightly hotter RS guise - it is not, in fact, a skateboard. But don't tell that to rapper Theophilus London.
In General Motors' latest spot for the Chevrolet compact, London needs to make a quick run to the store for some milk. And even though, once again, the Sonic is not a skateboard, it ollies, pops and gets air because, you know, it's just so much fun to throw around.

GM recalls select Chevy Cruze, Sonic and Buick Verano models over airbag issue

General Motors is recalling certain 2012 Buick Verano, Chevrolet Cruze and Sonic models due to a defect in the driver's airbag system. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the airbag has a shorting bar which may contact two internal terminals. If that happens during a crash, the supplemental restraint may not deploy, increasing the risk of driver injury. The recall includes a total of 2,949 units.
GM will contact owners and replace the steering wheel airbag coil at no cost. At this point, it's unclear when the recall will begin, though owners may contact the automaker at 1-800-521-7300 for more information. You may also take a closer look at the full NHTSA notice below.
