this auction is for a 1940 chevy truck. this truck is sitting on a 2002 ford explorer chassis so it has almost every option availble on it.i have been drving this truck daily the last year and have put 20,000 trouble free miles on it in the last 2 years. it runs and drives great and since its on the explorer chassis it drives just like a new truck. it has power steering, power brakes, all disc brakes, 4 wheel drive, power leather seats, and even heat and a/c. the truck has been widened about a foot so that cab has alot more room than a stock 40 chevy. the windows roll up and down well. all the glass was custom made and is "smoked" instead of clear this isnt tinted just a bit of a shade for the driver and passangers.it has a tow hitch and ive had this truck all over the midwest going to swap meets and other stuff. it has been a great shop truck and i would trust driving it anywhere.shipping is up to the buyer, im sure ive forgot lots of details so if you have any questions dont hesitate to shoot me an email.. also there are lots more pictures of this truck, and pictures of the building process here.... www.facebook.com/caseyscustoms i also have a chopped 50 chevy on ebay now too, so check my other auctions if thats more your style!

Netflix to feature electric cars from GM and others in programming
Sun, Feb 5 2023LOS ANGELES — Netflix has unveiled a new star for some of its upcoming programming: electric vehicles from General Motors and other automakers. The streaming service announced an agreement on Thursday to feature vehicles including the Chevrolet Bolt, the electric GMC Hummer pickup and the Cadillac Lyriq in TV series and films "where relevant." The companies will highlight the partnership in a commercial featuring Will Ferrell that will air during the Feb. 12 Super Bowl. Netflix and GM called the agreement "part of a commitment to a more sustainable future." Financial terms were not disclosed. Netflix said it will help creators "better understand how EVs can complement and enhance their stories." Shows that will feature GM's electric vehicles include "Love is Blind," "Queer Eye" and "Unstable." Netflix productions also will include electric vehicles made by other automakers, the company said. Survey says $25k barrier is a problem for EVs
Sun, 01 Dec 2013
The majority of consumers are more or less priced out of the market.
Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.
Motor Trend puts Chevy Camaro Z28 and Porsche 911 GT3 Head 2 Head
Mon, Dec 29 2014Motor Trend admits, "This is an unfair comparison." But that doesn't make it any less fun to watch when they pit a Camaro Z/28 against the Porsche 911 GT3. The former has a 7.0-liter V8 with 505 horsepower and 481 pound-feet of torque shifted through a six-speed manual. The latter has a 3.8-liter flat-six with 475 hp and 324 lb-ft shifted through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Yet those are only the little disparities – the big disparities are mass and money: the Camaro weighs 3,882 pounds and costs $76,150 as-tested, the Porsche weighs 3,267 pounds and costs $145,785. But they're both about hardcore performance, so MT takes them out on the street, to the drag strip, to the parking lot for figure eights and a skidpad test, and finally to Big Willow for Randy Pobst to give his professional assessment. Remember when a lotta people spent a lotta time debating Pirates vs. Ninjas? This is like that, only it's the "haul-ass good-time car" vs. the "track surgeon." Enjoy the debate in the video.
