1966 Chevy Nova 2 Door Sedan. We have owned this car for 19 years (yes since 1994) As far as I know it has always been an Arizona car. As far as we know wew bought the car from the 3rd owner. I drove the car as purchased for a lot of years, doing small little upgrades and upkeep along the way, always knowing one day I would have the chance to really build a street car that I wanted since high school. 7 years ago I began that process and it took me over 4 years to get the car to the point I could drive it again. My plan always was to build the car I couldnt build when I was young, I have done that now and it is really a perfect car. We have loaded over 150 pictures on the link below, I have nothing to hide and an very willing to have the car inspected or appraised.

Body is rust free/bondo free and about as perfect as you will find, paint is base coat/clear coat black and it is as black of black we could find. It is probably considered a 9 out of 10, I have not buffed the car or waxed it in about 2 years, since the build it has been covered and in the garage, the only thing dulling the paint being the cover coming on and off from time to time.

Interior is also about a 9 out of 10. Factory seats recovered in after market factory look as well as door panels and headliner. Carpet has also been replaced and is very nice new condition. Half way through the build I decided that I really wanted to relive the days of drag racing. Did not cut up or butcher anything to achieve that but did install a certified cage. Back seats are still fully functionable just requires a little climb. We did make sure the cage can come out with out messing up interior or paint, it can and pretty easy.

Because my plan changed to not only run on the street and cruise but to also do some drag racing I had to build the motor, transmission, rearend and brakes that would do it all. With all that done I have only ran the car 2 times on an actual drag strip. Its fast! first pass (and I had not been behind the wheel on a strip in 20 years I ran 10:42 in the quarter, yes thats only on the motor! The car is set up to run nitrous but it has never been run in the car and the plumbling line from the bottle to the 4 stage sprayer has never been plumbed. The car just doesnt need it although it can take it. Second run was 10:66. After that I just couldnt do it anymore, I had visions of the thousands of dollars I had spent being wasted on a wreck or someone else stupidity. Here is the list and happy to answer any questions about it. "509" GM block, splayed main caps, scat 4340 steel crank, 6inch scat H-beam, All ARP, SRP flat top forged pistons, speed pro plasma moly rings gapped correctly for nitrous, dart iron eagle 215cc runner with gasket match 1206 with bowl blend, stainless valve, bullet roller springs, titanium retainers, jesel shaft rockers 1.6i/1.5ex, comp billet timing set, comp push rods, bullet solid roller cam, crower lifters w/hippo, super victor intake, ARP thoughout. Transmission is a Hughs Powerglide and it is built to handle 700hp plus on a bottle or not. Rear end is a 9inch with all the best of the best just like motor and trans, happy to provide details, 4 wheel disc brakes, line lock and trans brake. yes I went all out and spent a small furtune doing it.

Take a close look at all the welds, the 4 link, the lines, the quality of parts used and know you are buying a car that no expense was spared, no item over looked, no short cuts, no issues and no problems. I have put about 1000 miles on the car now in 3 years. Although I have 3 sons who love the car, our oldest in now confined to a wheel chair and I have been letting go of a lot of toys to help him live better on his own. This is a super car, have cruise it and enjoyed a couple of awards and a lot of crowd gatherings around it. It is not to loud to enjoy, the mufflers keep it sounding right though.

I am sure that I have left 100 plus things ive left out of the listing, its hard to remember everything after so many years. The car will not disapoint!

What does it still need, I have not put on the small lights that go in the front bumper, (although I did wire for them) no chrome trim on trunk or emblems intalled and I would consider new tires just because these are older now and I really like new tread on my cars. Please look at the detail and notice that i used only the best available parts to build this car. I have owned many cars in my life from 1930-2013, ford, chevy, dodge, hotrods and muscle cars, not to many out there like this anymore, enjoy.

So, how do you actually pronounce that automaker's name?

Thu, Jan 21 2016

You probably have that friend who always says Porsche wrong, or maybe it's someone who keeps reminding you it's actually two syllables. Whichever side of the pronunciation debate you fall on, you'll find someone to root for in the video above. And before you ask, this was all the video team's idea. So don't get mad at me for being the voice of reason. BMW Chevrolet Hyundai Nissan Rolls-Royce Videos Original Video nissan qashqai
