Up for sale is another great American muscle car, brought to you by
Halberd Classics LLC, Antique & Exotic Automobile Brokerage.

The 1971 Chevy Nova will always be one of the most iconic American muscle cars.  With tons of horsepower and beautiful lines, these cars will always be  cherished by car guys and collectors alike.  This beautiful 1971 Chevy Nova has been treated to a FULL RESTORATION just 3,300 miles ago and is ready to make her new owners exceedingly happy.

The body of this 1971 Chevy Nova is just about as straight as they come.  The trunk, hood, and doors all line perfectly and the paintwork was beautifully done to a true mirror finish.  The red was color matched to the correct 1971 Chevy color.   The black vinyl top was also redone during the restoration and is in mint condition.  The trunk was sprayed in the correct gray speckled paint and looks brand new.  The undercarriage was coated in a rubberized protectant just as it would have been done in 1971.

The interior of this beautiful fully restored 1971 Chevy Nova was completely redone during the restoration.  The pictures certainly do not do it justice, as it is impossible to capture the new car smell and the comfort of the reworked seats.  The black interior perfectly accents the vinyl top and red body.  All of the gauges work just as they should and the 3,300 miles on the odometer are the exact mileage since restoration.  Sitting inside this great 1971 Chevy Nova, you will feel as if you have stepped back to the height of the muscle car era. And as pretty as the interior is, the sound of the rumble is even better.

Now it is one thing to have a flawless looking 1971 Chevy Nova, but the vehicle has to run just the same.  This american muscle classic runs exactly how she did the day she left the dealership, if not then better.  The NOM 350 4 bolt main was completely rebuilt before it was installed. The motor fires right up, purrs like a kitten at idle and picks this 1971 Chevy Nova up and truly flies down the road.  The m21 Muncie transmission alike was completely rebuilt and shifts flawlessly.  The suspension was all replaced during the restoration, giving the Nova an excellent ride.  The brakes system was entirely replaced with disc brakes in the front and drum rear.  The power of the motor meets the ground through new BFGoodrich radial TA's

Whether you are looking for a fun vehicle to cruise around town getting attention in, or simply looking to add an incredible vehicle to your collection; this 1971 Chevy Nova is the perfect choice.

This is a 7 day auction with a fair reserve, so bid with confidence and bid to own.  The vehicle is for sale locally, so we reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Please feel free to come inspect this awesome 1971 Chevy Nova in person.

GM uses wind power to build SUVs, trucks

Tue, Oct 9 2018

This week started with a chill, as the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change issued a dire report with scientists warning, "The world we know today is not the world we will see in 50 years," with temperatures rising at their current rates. In the meantime, the trend toward purchasing more SUVs and crossovers continues. Most automakers, though, have set goals toward more sustainable production. That includes General Motors, which, somewhat ironically, plans to use wind power to produce many of its vehicles, including pickups and full-size SUVs. As the Detroit Free Press reports, several wind farms are coming online to support cleaner production as part of a partnership between GM and energy producer CMS Enterprises. At the beginning of October, the 100-megawatt Northwest Ohio Wind Farm began producing energy, supplying GM operations in Ohio and Indiana, where manufactured vehicles include the Chevy Cruze, Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra. Hilltopper Wind Farm in Illinois will begin producing another 100 megawatts for GM manufacturing in the region. In Texas, where GM builds the Chevrolet Tahoe, Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon, GMC Yukon XL and Cadillac Escalade, the automaker is getting 50 megawatts from Cactus Flats Wind Farm beginning October 9. Using wind power isn't just about being green, but also for the sake of price stability. As Rob Threlkeld, GM's global manager of renewable energy told the Free Press, "You don't get the price spikes this way, like you do with fuel, and it reduces the environment footprint of the vehicle you're driving." Threlkeld said that renewable energy has already meant "millions of dollars in savings" for GM. GM plans to power all of its global operations with renewable energy by 2050. This week, the automaker was ranked 76 on the EPA's "National Top 100 List" of green manufacturers. It was the only automotive company listed. Autotrader picks best cars for 2015's college grads

Sun, May 31 2015

Summer is here and the school season is winding to a close. That means millions of students will be graduating college and (hopefully) entering the workforce. For many, that will mean buying a new car suited to the new stage in life into which they will now be embarking. That can be a bewildering choice, especially for someone who's never bought a car before. Fortunately, Autotrader has come up with a short list of recommended cars – new and used – which it recommends to the graduating class of 2015. Among the site's top choices are some compelling crossovers and hatchbacks, including the Buick Encore, Chevy Trax, and Jeep Renegade, as well as the Honda Fit, Nissan Versa Note, Mazda3 and Fiat 500. Can't stretch to buying new, or don't see the point? Autotrader has also identified the Toyota Camry, Ford Fusion and even the Lexus IS as smart buys in the certified pre-owned category. "Any time someone goes through a major life change, such as graduating college, they need to determine if their current ride makes sense for their lifestyle, from both a financial and functional perspective," says Autotrader editor Brian Moody. "For example, while that hand-me-down SUV from your parents was nice when you turned 16, you may want to opt for a safer, more fuel-efficient car as you transition into the working world." Autotrader Names 10 Best Cars for Recent College Graduates ATLANTA, May 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- For many, graduating college is a milestone like no other – it represents a new chapter, a proud accomplishment and, fortunately or unfortunately, financial independence. Luckily for graduates who are in the market for a new car to suit their post-college lifestyle, Autotrader's expert editors say now is a great time to make a purchase, as dealerships are flush with affordable models that are fun, fuel-efficient and thoughtfully designed. Autotrader Logo "Any time someone goes through a major life change, such as graduating college, they need to determine if their current ride makes sense for their lifestyle, from both a financial and functional perspective," said Brian Moody, site editor for Autotrader.

The Corvette Museum sinkhole has been filled

Wed, Feb 11 2015

After swallowing eight of the most prized pieces of the collection from the National Corvette Museum, the massive sinkhole from a year ago is rapidly becoming nothing but a bad memory. Based on the museum's weekly construction update, you can barely see the remnants of the 25-foot deep hole once in the floor. The Corvette Museum's Skydome was not always going to look like this. The original hope was to keep the sinkhole there as a tourist attraction. That plan eventually fell through, though, and instead it was decided five of the less-damaged Corvettes would remain unrestored. Progress has been moving fast to get the repairs done. Even a month ago, the hole was still very visible, and the construction company used remote-controlled Bobcat loaders to fill it in. Now, the museum has launched a contest to guess how many tons of stone it took to fill in the massive crater. The winner gets a print of the 2009 Corvette ZR1 Blue Devil being lifted out.
