Up for bid we have a rust free 71 Chevy Nova painted Almond green which is a Land Rover color and a Rally Nova stripe package (THIS IS NOT AN ORIGINAL RALLY NOVA) the original color of the car was a lime green color that was stripped to metal and the right front fender had new metal welded in the bottom. The car is laser straight with no waves and the body lines are even all the way around. The interior has new carpet and dash pad, the seats and headliner are perfect. The bottom of the door panel has scuffs from hitting it when getting out over the years and is a little worn. The car has new front & rear bumpers, vinyl top and the tires have less than 500 miles on them. The engine is a stock 350 that runs good and the 2 speed powerglide shifts as it should. Dual exhaust with flow master mufflers. The car goes down the road straight and there is no pulling from the drum brakes, you can take your hands off the wheel and step on the brakes and it stops in a straight line. Chevy 14" rally wheels with SS center caps. Direction lights work brake lights work headlights work. The am radio does not work. I have put about 400 miles on the car in the last three weeks with no issues. Any questions or if you need anymore pictures just ask. I highly recommend an inspection before bidding. The 2014 Chevrolet SS sedan is for drivers who value performance above all else

The car you see above is the 2014 Chevrolet SS, and it's important both because it is the first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan from Chevy in 17 years, and because it will be the nameplate the brand uses on NASCAR tracks all across the country starting this year.
Though it wears a name as American as baseball and apple pie, the machine was actually designed and built in Australia, sharing most of its parts with the brand-new VF-model Holden Commodore. That said, the basic chassis bits are shared with other Chevrolet models like the Camaro and Caprice Police Patrol Vehicle.
While Chevrolet is happy to sell a Malibu or Impala to anyone looking for a mainstream family sedan, but the SS is reserved for buyers interested first and foremost in performance. Most sedans sold these days are front-wheel drive, which is great for everyday driving and when the weather goes bad, but the SS is instead a rear-wheel-drive vehicle aimed at enthusiasts who love to drive and who prefer speed and performance above all else.

Chevy Colorado, GMC Canyon get updated tachometers due to graphical error

After James Bearing bought a Chevrolet Colorado, he noticed a discrepancy between the truck's spec sheet and the truck's tachometer: Chevrolet said 3.6-liter V6 in the little pickup produces 305 horsepower at 6,800 rpm, but the the tachometer indicates a redline at 6,500 rpm. So either he wasn't making as much power as he was promised, or the tachometer display was incorrect. Bearing said he asked Chevy about it but got no response. Until now. A General Motors spokesman said the rev limiter is indeed set for 6,800 rpm, but the tach graphics "are slightly off" in the Colorado and the GMC Canyon, and submitted an SAE horsepower certification to back him up. If you're wondering how such a thing got past quality control... well, let's just say you're not alone. GM is going to fix "the graphics on future trucks," which makes it sound like Bearing will just have to learn to live with the indicated redline he's got. He could always pretend he's driving a sleeper, with four more ponies waiting to be unlocked in the danger zone for those who dare.
