Just completed Bodywork and fresh paint-job. Body was done so straight, I was able to paint it Black and took it to a Car Show this past weekend. Very nice high gloss 2 stage Black w/Silver Yenko type strip under the 4 coats of Clear. Nova logo has been airbrushed in the fenders and is under the clearcoat. All moldings, bumpers, glass, are original. No rust on this car, lifelong New Mexico car. Clear Title. New BFG tires (20 miles on them)and Wheels. Appears to have the original 350 engine with automatic transmission.( Did not run the numbers ) Drives very well although I do not know the fact that it's original miles 86k on odometer.
Needs or recommended:
1.. Reupholster the seats to Vinyl as it should be.
2. Install AC components back and make functional. (If interested I have compressor and all the brackets).
3. add headers and new exhaust. (Currently has exhaust) but 2 1/2" would really make it sound nicer!
4. needs a new dash pad, (43 yrs old..due to get a break from sun weathered).
Vehicle is sold as is: As to notify any potential buyer, that I am not a Car Dealship and I do not offer warranty.
I reserve my right to cancel any and all bids/offers, due to the vehicle being listed locally for sale.
If you have any questions or need further verifiable documentation of the vehicle mentioned. Feel free to contact me via e-mail siucop@aol.com or 505-452-7772
PaintJob is 1 week old, very high gloss with 4 coats of clear shot over the strip and Nova airbrushed emblems. Color sanded and buffed to see your reflection extremely well! This car is VERY straight! Needs some final matters to complete the car, but that's why I'm not asking in the 20's for it!
This is an excellent foundation for someone to go custom with a BBC. Car is very solid with NO rust issues. I buy and build Show cars and before I purchase a potential vehicle that I am going to build. I inspect them to insure I will not have to deal with Rust. I do all my own paint so I know what this car needed to get straight for a BLACK impressive paintjob.
I will assist the buyer with reasonable request to help you get the vehicle transported, ie: Loading, or take to a local Truck stop for easier loading for the driver.

Looking back on our favorite cars of Mad Men
Tue, Apr 7 2015The second half of the seventh and final season of Mad Men debuted this week, set to cap a run of public and critical acclaim. A decade's worth of interesting cars also made for good television, if you were paying attention. Vehicles didn't often steal the spotlight from Don, Betty, Roger, Joan and the gang, but they added meaningfully to the tone and beauty of the series. We sorted through the wheeled extras from Mad Men's archives, and choose some of our favorites to highlight. The list consists of cars that had at least a small impact on the plot of an episode, though certainly there are worthy gems hiding in just about every street and driving scene. Check out our subjective top five, and then let us know which of the Mad Men cars would be on your list. 1962 Cadillac Coupe DeVille – Season 2 Don Draper's Cadillac Coupe DeVille, all 500 feet of it, shows up in a few seasons of the show, but it's the first appearance that sets the tone. A Cadillac salesman, cut from the same cloth as Draper, asks what Don drives right now. "A Dodge," Don admits. "Those are wonderful if you want to get somewhere," allows the salesman, "this is for when you've already arrived." For a man on the move up corporate and social ladders that's a powerful message, and a pitch-perfect car. 1961 Lincoln Continental – Season 3 The most stylish Lincoln Continental ever is perfect set dressing for the mod show, of course. Though it's interesting that the car isn't cast as dapper Draper's ride, but rather his father-in-law's. Grandpa Gene does what all great grandfathers are bound to: lets his granddaughter Sally drive the big Lincoln while he works the pedals. Generational bond secured, in fine fashion. When you go back through the first three seasons of the show, you'll notice that Continentals show up more than once, too. There's nothing quite like them to evoke the best of the early '60s. 1963 John Deere 110 – Season 3 The only non-standard passenger vehicle on the list, no self-respecting gearhead/Mad Men fan should quibble with the inclusion of the John Deere 110 riding mower. For starters, the Deere is lovely to look at; a miniature version of the American Heartland icon in its green and yellow duds. The 110 appears as if milled from a solid block of steel, just the opposite of today's sleek, plasticky lawn minders (we're scouring Craigslist for one to bring home). The John Deere also has dear ramifications to the plot, too.
GM investing $167m in Spring Hill for new midsize vehicles
Tue, 06 Aug 2013General Motors has announced a large investment in its Spring Hill, Tennessee facility. The former home of Saturn production will be getting a $167 million addition to a previously announced $183 million, to cover a pair of new midsize vehicles. The investment is expected to create 1,800 jobs at the factory.
That $350 million is being divvied up for a pair of programs at Spring Hill. The first will take the bulk of the money ($223 million) and create 1,000 of the 1,800 jobs, while the other will take the remaining $127 million and generate the leftover 800 positions. But GM says the investment will cover "midsize vehicle programs." So what could they be?
The leading candidate in our minds is a new crossover for Buick, called the Anthem, that will slot between the Encore and Enclave, but will be slightly smaller than the Equinox and Terrain. As we've explained, the new model will likely be the first product to sport GM's new D2UX platform, which will eventually replace both the Delta and Theta platforms. Spring Hill is already building the Equinox, so there could be some credence to this theory.
Seeing the Detroit Auto Show via drone
Sun, Jan 18 2015Seeing the Chevrolet display at the Detroit Auto Show is worth doing this year, and not just because of the new Corvette Z06, Volt and Bolt concept. In order to attract the new kids, The Bowtie has gone what the old kids used to call "buck wild" with their show stand at Cobo Hall. A Corvette Z06, Trax, and Colorado are parked along a central aisle, called Mainstreet, at the end of which is a 20-foot-tall, 73-foot long transparent screen lording over the new Volt. Elsewhere are five more 20-foot-tall screens broadcasting nine stories today's Chevrolet wants to tell about its vehicles, from performance to belief in the power of play to its 4G LTE-equipped OnStar telematics service. Then there are the social media and virtual reality safety installations, the community presentations and more. Chevrolet flew a drone through the stand to show off what it's doing, which is has replaced eye-level video as the next best thing to being there. You can check it out in the video above.
