1969 Chevrolet Nova SS 350/300

up for sale is my 69 nova ss, I bought this car in 07, and totally dismantled it, the car has all the original body sheet metal, the car was painted in 07, but I did,nt reassemble the car until last summer. I went to alot of pains to keep this car as original as possible. the car is a matching #s car, with the original 350/300 rebuilt ,less the heads., they are a set of 96 vortec with short intake runners to except the original intake, the carb. is a totally restored show quality, 69, 207 whitch is for a 350/350,the transmission is the original 350 turbo, the vin. is stampted on the case, the differintial is the original 12 bolt, with a gear change from 3.07 to a 69 3.55 pos. everthing on sub frame is new, this car is 95% all GM, as odd as the interior color and set up is, with bucket seats, no console, and shifter on the column, it is correct. this is a rare car due to the fact it is a true ss with factory A/C, less of these were built than 396/375. I believe the seats have the original vinyl, they have a couple flaws, but just wanted to keep them original, the radio is a stereo, I think it must be out of a 70 or newer, because it does,nt have a green screen. I finished the car in Aug. last year and took it to a car show with 200+ cars and got in the top 10 in show. there are really to many things to mention about everything I went through to try to put this car to as original condition as it is. I understand why alot of people go retro, I done the majority of the work on this car myself, and I will be more than happy to answer any tech. questions you may have. the reason for selling this, is the fact , that I was able to buy back the 69 nova ss I bought in 76 and sold it in 93, and I want to go through that car. 2020 Chevy Trax spied sporting design cues from the new Blazer

We saw spy shots in August for what we thought was either a redesigned Chevrolet Trax or new GMC subcompact crossover. At the time we were leaning Chevy. But after this latest batch of spy shots taken near GM's proving grounds, we're now thinking this one is the Trax replacement and the other one was a GMC. For one, the thin row of LEDs looks remarkably similar to the 2019 Chevy Blazer's LED strip. The additional light slightly below that is similar to the Blazer as well, leading us to believe that the next Trax will have a Blazer-esque front end. At first glance, this vehicle looks slightly larger than today's Trax with a much brawnier shape than the current blob-like design. The rear roof cladding could be hiding the same sloped rear window with spoiler hangover we see on the Blazer. Circling back to the other small GM crossover we caught testing, this one doesn't have those Blazer elements. The curved windshield and sloping roof are like those of the GMC Terrain, as are the horizontal grille bars. By contrast, the above car has a straighter windshield and a roof shaped more like the Blazer. One element that does seem to diverge from the new Blazer are the taillights, but they don't exactly look production-ready anyway. If we're right about this being the next Trax (and we're pretty sure we are) then this looks to be a more distinctive vehicle than what it will replace. The mirrors have left their awkward spot on the doors, and it's shaping up to be a much sportier looking crossover as a whole. This vehicle will most likely end up being a 2020 model year car, and if so, we would expect to see undisguised photos of both it and the assumed GMC version next year. 2014 Corvette Stingray meets Tesla Model S in drag strip showdown

They come from two different worlds and have little in common. The Tesla Model S P85 is the sportiest version of this paradigm-punching sedan from California, while the 2014 Corvette Stingray Z51 is a performance-enhanced version of Michigan's recently-updated sports car stalwart. The West Coast car seats five adults and eats electrons like Popeye eats spinach, the Easterner has two passenger places and, surprisingly, sips gasoline like one might bourbon. An attribute they do happen to share is extreme quickness. This similarity is all the excuse Drag Times needed to set the vehicles beside each other at the Palm Beach International Raceway for a bit of mano-a-mano quarter-mile combat. Fortunately enough, cameras were rolling for each of two bouts down the blacktop and the results recorded for our edification and enlightenment. The winner? 2015 Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra recalled for steering issues

DETROIT — General Motors Co is recalling more than 1 million pickup trucks and sport utility vehicles in the United States due to issues with a temporary loss of power steering, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said. The recall is for 2015 models. They are: the Chevy Silverado 1500, Suburban and Tahoe, GMC Sierra 1500, Yukon and Yukon XL and Cadillac Escalade. The problem may cause difficulty steering the vehicle, especially at low speeds, increasing the risk of a crash, the auto safety regulator said in a document dated Sept. 12. The document did not highlight any reports of accidents and injuries, because of the power steering issue. GM dealers will update the power steering module software, free of charge for owners of the affected vehicles. In 2014, the No.1 U.S. automaker had recalled nearly 800,000 pickup trucks worldwide because of the same problem. GM did not immediately respond to a request for comment.Related Video:
