Up for auction is this 67 Nova, or Chevy II, whichever you prefer. It is, in my opinion the real Nova/ Chevy II, the 2 door hardtop, not a "post car".  Overall she is in good shape ready to be restored or drop a powerplant in and have the ultimate "sleeper". She is complete as the pictures show, but the interior is missing and it is not running at the moment. She did run decently until I pulled off the manifold and gave it to a friend that needed it about 8 months ago. The floor pans are nice no holes or real cancer issues. The trunk also is in very good condition. I have quite a bit of parts both new, re-pops, and original. She has a modern fuse upgrade, and a new in box Covan dash complete with all Autometer "pro-comp ultra light" guages with all harnesses and sending units. All the locks work with 1 key and the ignition switch is new as well. An uninstalled new glove box with and original light switch. I cannot remember all the parts I have but everything will go with her.

This is the only car I have ever truly wanted, I searched forever to find 1 in this shape or better and when I found her I jumped. Now unfortunately I have not the money to build her up the way that I would like and honestly it is blastphemous to let her sit and slowly rot while waiting on me or my finances to change. I had all the big dreams for her, full tube chasis, 572 BBC, the works. Life just happens sometimes and what it doesn't eat-up the economy devours the crumbs. I think it would be best for her to go to someone who can give her what she needs and bring her back to her true standing and maybe dominate the street or strip where she may end up. I have a clear Virginia title registered to me in my name and it will be signed to the winning bidder.

Feel free to contact me anytime with questions or to request pictures of a specific area or whatever concern you may wish to discuss. The shipping will be up to the winning bidder, however I will help in anyway possible to make the transaction and delivery as painless as possible. I also reserve the right to end this auction anytime due to she is for sale locally. Thank you and goodluck you will not be disappointed.

Use this PowerPoint when convincing your spouse to let you buy a Corvette

Thu, 14 Feb 2013

When you are not the one in charge of the purse strings, creativity is a must when trying to get the string-holder to bankroll that next shiny object you just can't live without.
When I was a kid, I decided that life wasn't worth living if it weren't in pursuit of owning a GMC Typhoon. My 12-year-old self crafted a fiscal strategy that, when combined with my offer of a 49-percent share of ownership in the car in return for my parents' contribution of 80-percent of the purchase price, would see me behind the wheel of a Typhoon by the time I hit college. They walked away from the negotiating table and, the economic climate of the 8th grade being what it was at the time, another partner wasn't found before the Typhoon was discontinued.
Roy El-Rayes, however, has succeeded where 12-year-old me failed, and he did it by using the sort of professionalism that only a PowerPoint presentation can provide, along with some humor and bold-faced flattery.

Suzuki recalls 2 million cars globally

Wed, Apr 22 2015

Suzuki is recalling two million vehicles across the globe, including a number of Chevrolet Cruze sedans that it builds for General Motors, because the ignition switches may begin to smoke. None of the Cruzes being recalled were sold in the US, though. This recall is limited to the Japanese, European and Australian markets. In Suzuki's home market, 1,873,000 vehicles are being recalled, including the Cruze and a number kei cars built for Mazda (the Carol and AZ-Wagon), as well as the automaker's own Alto, Wagon R and Swift. Affected vehicles were built between 1998 and 2009. The remaining 133,000 vehicles include Cruzes and other Suzuki products sold in Europe and Australia. There have been no reports of injuries or accidents due to the 67 reported incidents, all of which come from the Japanese market, a Suzuki spokesperson told Automotive News. Related Video:

Anti-purist 1963 Ferrari GTE sports hot rod Chevy V8

Thu, Oct 8 2015

I remember reading a story around the time Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift came out. It focused on one of the star cars of that film, a 1967 Ford Mustang fastback that started the film as a shell, and in a pinch, was transformed into a modified masterpiece, complete with the RB26DETT engine from a Nissan Skyline GT-R (which started the film under the hood of an S15 Silvia). There was a genuine (and in our minds, absurd) fear in the article that taking a piece of classic American iron and fitting a twin-turbocharged JDM engine would result in some awful trend in the classic car community. If you thought a GT-R-powered classic Mustang was sacrilege, though, this car will probably make you vomit. For the rest of us, it's a neat piece of engineering. Shown above is a 1963 Ferrari 250 GTE, and yes, that's a 302-cubic-inch, small-block Chevrolet V8 under the hood. On top of that, it uses the six-speed manual transmission from a Viper, a nine-inch Ford rear end, and Mitsubishi-sourced paint. So yeah, it's a FrankenFerrari. Check out Road Heads' interview with this custom GTE's owner, which is followed by a brief test drive. And of course, head into Comments afterwards, and let us know what you think. Is this Yankee-powered 250 GTE blasphemous or badass?
