1967 Chevy Nova Cpp Tubular Suspension, 350, Auto, Nice Driver on 2040-cars
Melbourne, Florida, United States
1967 Chevy II Nova. Freshly rebuilt 350 engine. 284 duration camshaft with .480 lift. Nothing radical, just a decent streetable cam. Double roller timing chain, all engine bearings replaced. HEI distributor. Edelbrock RPM intake with a holley 750 carb. (A bit much for this motor). 882 cylinder heads, 194 valves. Big aluminum radiator with electric fan. Ram horn exhaust manifolds, with new exhaust and mufflers.(Flowmaster copies). Sounds good. Engine has maybe 10 miles on it. Battery is mounted in the trunk using 1 ga battery cable the whole way. Transmission is a TH 350 automatic that shifts good and it has a B&M street stick shifter in it. Has a new external transmission cooler also. Gas tank and sending unit are both new. Front suspension is all brand new CPP kit. Upper and lower tubular control arms with all brand new ball joints, etc. Inner and outer tie rods and sleeves are new as well as the idler arm. Alignment was just done, drives straight and smooth. New disc brake kit on front end, new shoes, wheel cylinders , lines and master cylinder. Stops straight and smooth. Has Weld Draglite wheels, 15x4 up front and 15x7 in the rear with the correct offset. Can fit 255/60/15 on the rear without rubbing, I've checked. Has smaller rear tires on it now. Rear differential was just serviced, it has 3.08 gears, perfect for cruising. Paint is good, still needs to be wet sanded and buffed out but that can be done whenever. Has a fiberglass 2" cowl hood. Color is BMW Ruby Black Metallic which looks black, but the sun makes it look like a dark cherry plum color. Car has had new quarter panels installed and a new 1 piece floor pan installed. Door bottoms and rockers were perfect. The frame has connectors welded in. Was a 6 cylinder car all its life, so its never been torqued. The interior panels and dash were painted base/clear black. New carpet installed, along with new windshield seal and door and trunk weatherstrips. Back seat is average, front seats are cloth buckets out of a newer car. Needs door panels and headliner, but the bows are all there. All the window cranks and door handles are there with the armrests. New gauges and tachometer. New headlight switch, all lights function correctly. Any other questions feel free to call or text me at 321-698-7852 and I'll answer as soon as possible. I reserve the right to end the auction early due to the car being for sale locally as well. Thanks for looking! Buyer will take all responsibility with shipping, I can help load or anything within reason of course.

2021 GMC Canyon trims overhauled, SL and SLT disappear
Sun, Feb 2 2020Until this year, the GMC Canyon has offered six trims in two drivetrains: SL, a base model simply called Canyon, SLE, All Terrain, SLT, and Denali, with all but the SL available in either 2WD or 4WD. GM Authority credits "dealer sources" for news that the 2021 Canyon has had its trim steps overhauled. According to the chart in the report, the SL and SLT are no more, the base Canyon gets replaced by a trim called Elevation Standard, and SLE turns into Elevation. We already know that All Terrain has given way to AT4, while Denali remains in the top spot. Trim content doesn't change with the names, but there's no equivalent for the SLT trim in terms of spec. The GMC site lists the 2020 SLE and SLT on the same page, and a shopper must burrow into the spec comparison page to figure out the differences. The SLT only comes with the 3.6-liter V6 and eight-speed transmission, and makes features like remote start, climate control, heated mirrors, heated seats, hitch guidance, and a spare tire standard equipment. It also chromes the exterior door handles, and offers a Cocoa/Dune leather interior that can't be had on the SLE. It's possible the SLT's $4,700 premium over the SLE led more buyers to start with the SLE and add the engine and options they wanted. We have a number of questions that we'll need to wait for GMC's official announcement to answer. The 2020 Canyon offers an Elevation Edition package for $650 that adds a black grille with body-colored surround, and 18-inch Satin Graphite wheels in all-terrain rubber. There's also a California Elevation Special Edition for $1,195 with all-weather floor liners, assist steps, and mud flaps. They could be optioned on the SLE but not the SLT. With the addition of two Elevation trims, we'll find out if the packages get renamed or go away. Separately, CarBuzz spotted a 2021 GM Fleet Order Guide that mentions a leveling kit option, LPO Code SQS, for the Canyon and the Chevrolet Colorado. We noted the inclusion of a leveling kit in the coming Canyon AT4 Off-Road Performance Package. According to the order guide, the option can be ordered only for the Canyon AT4 trim, but it's not clear if that's an a la carte choice or if buyers must order the Off-Road Performance Package. On the Chevy, the rake-removal equipment can be had with the Colorado 4x2 Z71 or the 4x4 Work Truck, LT, and Z71. Related Video:
GM to restore legendary Corvette damaged in sinkhole accident
Fri, Dec 5 2014Car lover's hearts' sank when they saw images of bent and destroyed classic Corvettes at the bottom of a sinkhole last February after the floor of the National Corvette Museum gave way. General Motors announced Wednesday it would restore the one millionth Corvette ever produced to its former glory. The 1992 convertible was heavily damaged when a 40-foot deep sinkhole opened beneath a bevy of rare cars at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Since then, GM has been slowly restoring the classic cars, though five of the eight that caught in the sinkhole were determined to be too damaged to repair. This November, the 2009 Corvette ZR1 Blue Devil was the first car to be returned in mint condition to the Museum, according to Autoblog. It suffered significant damage but was still drivable after being pulled out of the debris. The one millionth Corvette is still in bad shape. The automaker is estimating six months worth of work to restore the car, which sustained paint scratches, rear-suspension damage and a mangled front fender. GM cutting Chevy Sonic, Buick Verano production by more than 20%
Sat, Jun 13 2015General Motors' Orion Assembly plant in Michigan is seeing even more production cuts this year to further reduce inventories of the Chevrolet Sonic and Buick Verano. These latest adjustments mean layoffs for about 100 workers in phases starting in July. "GM Orion Assembly will adjust plant production capacity to better align with market demand," the company said in a statement announcing the change. Through May, sales of the Sonic are down 28.5 percent to 29,082 vehicles, and the Verano is off 15.6 percent, with 15,279 sold this year. According to unnamed plant insiders speaking to Automotive News, the assembly rate is slowing at Orion Assembly from the current 33 cars an hour down to 26 an hour, a 21-percent reduction. GM is also reportedly going to keep the plant idle for three weeks during the normal summer shutdown, rather than the usual two. Earlier in the year, the factory was idled for two weeks due to excess supply of the Sonic and Verano. In March, it was closed again for several days for the same reason. The Orion Assembly plant is the future home to the line for the Chevy Bolt EV. GM Statement: GM Orion Assembly will adjust plant production capacity to better align with market demand. A phased layoff of approximately 100 employees will begin in July 2015 and conclude by year-end.
