Every once in a while you come across a car that is so stunning you cant take your eyes off it. You see it at a car show, or at a local icecream shop, you see it on a Sunday morning when your at breakfast, or on the highway. You can picture yourself in it, and say to yourself, "man I wish I was in that car!!" Everyone remembers the kid in Highschool that had that HOT ride. The ride that you couldnt afford, the ride you drooled over and dreamt about. NOW IS YOUR TIME!! AND THIS IS YOUR CAR!!!

You are bidding on an absolutely stunning 1966 Chevy Nova SS. This car is a TRUE SS CAR . Drenched in a beautiful Cherry Metallic Red paint job. LOOK AT THE PICTURES AND YOU WILL SEE HOW STUNNING THIS PAINT IS!!! The body is solid as can be inside and out, up top and underneath. Even the trunk has been redone. The body and paint on this car was done right. No rust or rot, no sketchy patch jobs, or wavy panels. They line up great, the doors dont sag, and the windows go up and down as they should. When they restored the car they even took care in painting the door jambs!!! as you can clearly see in the pictures!!

Open the hood and you will see a beautiful Chevy 350 Vortec motor decked out with DUAL EDELBROCK CARBS, Aluminum Intake, Ceramic coated headers, HEI, and plenty of Billet Chrome to give you a headache on a sunny day. The motor runs like a top and has plenty of power when you jump on the throttle and allow the second carb to kick in. It starts up very nicely and has a beautiful tone through its dual exhaust. The tranny is a rebuilt TH-350 that shifts crisp between the gears easily transferring the power to the STOUT 10 BOLT REAR with 3.55 gears

The rims keep the classic look of the Nova going with a full set of Rallys, Newer tires and a Front Disc/ Rear Drum setup that has plenty of stopping power. The suspension is tight and the car rides very very well and will drive comfortably down the road for miles and miles. The interior is absolutley GORGEOUS!! and ALL NEW!! Again the PICTURES tell the story but it has New bucket seats, rear seat, headliner, carpet, door panels, etc... etc.... It is so comfortable and nice inside this Nova that you may have a tough time getting the WIFE OUT OF IT!!!!

The Chrome, Trim, and Glass are all EXCELLENT on this car!! Like I said, the person who performed the restoration on this vehicle did a spectacular job and left nothing to chance. He even took the time and effort to paint the engine bay, The inside of the hood, all of the door jambs, and the trunk lid to make sure it all looks as good on the INSIDE as it does on the outside

There are alot of Novas out there, but you will be hard pressed to find one as nice as this one, especially at my BUY IT NOW price. Most of them will say they are an SS car but the VIN doesn't lie. THE ONLY TRUE SS CARS IN 66 AND 67 are the ones that have a 117 or a 118 IN THE VIN The trim tags on these cars can be faked but the VINS CANNOT. Like I said this is YOUR TIME You've worked hard all of your life and now its time to treat yourself. Spring is right around the corner so make this spring summer and fall the best you ever had!!.

I will tell you that 95% of all of my auctions end by someone hitting the "buy it now" button. I also can provide REFERENCES of people who have bought cars from me in the past that will vouch for my honesty and integrity. Don't be that bidder that thinks they are going to snipe it away at the last minute of the auction only to find out that someone else hit the BUY IT NOW... It is a cold and empty feeling. Can't tell you how many times people email me AFTER the auction asking what happened? I encourage everyone and anyone to come and see the vehicle in person before bidding. I will make myself available if you want to come by and take a look. Also, please do not bid if you need to ask permission from your MOM, your WIFE, GIRLFRIEND, BOYFRIEND, or the BANK.

A non refundable 10% Deposit is due via WIRE TRANSFER within 24 hours of the auctions close. The balance is due within 3 days after that. I DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL FOR DEPOSITS OR PAYMENTS!!!! I can help with arranging a transport for you but the buyer will be responsible for all costs and insurance associated with the transport. The car must be picked up within 2 weeks of the auctions close. Also, buyer acknoledges that this vehicle is sold "as is where is" with no warranty written, expressed or implied.

Autoblog fan favorite car ads from Super Bowl XLIX

Mon, Feb 2 2015

Super Bowl XLIX is in the books, and the New England Patriots emerged victorious. Of course, if you're like us, the big game wasn't so much about the battle between the east coast and west, so much as a fight between the world's automotive advertisers. We collected and collated all of last night's new ads and put them together for you to vote on. And yes, we're limiting this year's contest to last night's new features. That's why you aren't seeing Dodge's epic Wisdom among our collection of commercials, and it's a similar story with Chevrolet's Truck Guy Focus Group series, which highlights the new Colorado. You can still vote for your favorites. We won't be closing the voting on our Super Bowl page, so while the winners and losers are correct as of this writing, it's entirely possible that there could be some changes in the rankings as time goes on. So, without any further ado, here are the winning ads based on your voting. Nissan: With Dad Fiat: Ready For Action Jeep: Beautiful Lands BMW: Newfangled Idea Mercedes-Benz: Fable NASCAR: America Start Your Engines As for those ads that failed to impact you, loyal readers, Toyota was the absolute, undisputed loser. The Japanese brand ran four ads in total – two for Toyota and two for Lexus – and all of them have negative tallies as of this writing. Lexus' Make Some Noise and Lets Play and Toyota's One Bold Choice and My Bold Dad both had very weak showings among the commercials that aired, although they weren't alone. Neither Mazda nor Kia scored particularly well, despite featuring celebrity magic act Penn and Teller and former James Bond, Pierce Brosnan, respectively. Chevrolet was the winner of the losers, as of our writing, recording the fewest downvotes for its audience-punking The Big Game ad. If you want to take a second look at the losing ads, you can head back to our Super Bowl page for the complete collection. But for now, head into Comments and let us know what you think of the results.

Survey says $25k barrier is a problem for EVs

Sun, 01 Dec 2013

The majority of consumers are more or less priced out of the market.
Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.

Motor Trend puts Chevy Camaro Z28 and Porsche 911 GT3 Head 2 Head

Mon, Dec 29 2014

Motor Trend admits, "This is an unfair comparison." But that doesn't make it any less fun to watch when they pit a Camaro Z/28 against the Porsche 911 GT3. The former has a 7.0-liter V8 with 505 horsepower and 481 pound-feet of torque shifted through a six-speed manual. The latter has a 3.8-liter flat-six with 475 hp and 324 lb-ft shifted through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Yet those are only the little disparities – the big disparities are mass and money: the Camaro weighs 3,882 pounds and costs $76,150 as-tested, the Porsche weighs 3,267 pounds and costs $145,785. But they're both about hardcore performance, so MT takes them out on the street, to the drag strip, to the parking lot for figure eights and a skidpad test, and finally to Big Willow for Randy Pobst to give his professional assessment. Remember when a lotta people spent a lotta time debating Pirates vs. Ninjas? This is like that, only it's the "haul-ass good-time car" vs. the "track surgeon." Enjoy the debate in the video.
