1965 Chevy nova wagon

Engine- 406 cui small block chevy, world product iron heads, trw flat top forged pistons, steel crank, .535 lift cam, big tube stahl pattern headers into 4 inch bullet mufflers ( car sounds great), vic jr intake, holley carb, msd digital 6 programmable ignition, runs on pump gas, its a great low maintainence motor and runs great just cruising on the street. It has a brand new vacuum secondary holley carb, its ok for cruising but if you want to race the car I would recommend a mechanical secondary carb. The motor holds great oil pressure and is ready to rock.

Fuel system- Barry grant 400 electric fuel pump, barry grant fuel filter, 15 gallon fuel cell, all stainless steel lines and AN fittings

Trans-  Turbo 350 trans with a reverse manual valve body and a pro tree trans brake. Quarter stick shifter with a electric shift solenoid, car has all the electronics to run the shifter, it will automatic shift at any rpm you program it to

Rear end- It has a 9 inch ford rear end, 33 spline moser axels, moser full spool, 3:55 gear ratio, cal trac traction bar system, competition engineering shocks, really a nice setup

Wheels/tires- Weld draglites wheels, skinny front runners up front and 26x10.5 et drags in the rear, The drag radials have lots of tread left over 80 % I would say.

Body- The car is 99% rust free, the floors and trunk are perfect, the rest of the car is rock solid. The car has always been down south, the car has a fiberglass harwood cowl hood. The car doesn't seem to be a bondo bucket, I noticed some in the passenger rear quarter panel someone used to cover up a dent but no real hidden issues. The top has factory holes for a luggage rack, there is also one very minor dent on the back corner of the roof. All the door glass is good and rolls up and down good, the windshield is good, the rear glass in the tail gate is good however the car came with a factory power back glass, its quit working I don't know if its just a loose wire or what.

Interior- 2 racing seats, tilt steering column, 10 point roll cage

Front end- The car has a strut style front end, rack and pinion steering, disc brakes, and tubular a-arms

This is just a cool old wagon that beats the ground, its not going to win you a car show but will definately get you lots of attention. Its ready to go turn key. The car has a clear title. There is no warranty on the car whatsoever, If you bid please have the money I don't want to list twice for a tire kicker. If you live to far away to get the car in person let me know if you need it shipped, Theres a transport company here where I live that I can get you a really cheap rate from since they are so close. Ive sold lots of diesel trucks and classic cars this way so I can assist you in whatever you need and make it easy for you. The car doesn't leave me till im paid in full. Just the right Camaro can change your life

Thu, Jan 22 2015

Not many people can say that their car directly motivated them into a career, but that's exactly the case for Adam Martin and his 1968 Chevrolet Camaro that he calls Lucy. Martin bought the pony car in primer when he was just 16, and it helped foster his profession in restoring classic cars. Beyond just being a very cool ride for a teenager, every change to Lucy was an opportunity to hone a new automotive skill for Martin. Whether figuring out how to paint a car or building the 454-cubic-inch (7.4-liter) big block V8, the Camaro offered a platform for experimentation. This latest episode of Petrolicious gets personal about the bond between man and machine for this 18-year ongoing project. And even if the story doesn't immediately grab you, Lucy has a great voice and can do a mean burnout. Weekly Recap: Revisting the BBC report that ended Jeremy Clarkson's Top Gear run

Sat, Mar 28 2015

Jeremy Clarkson's long run as a Top Gear host has come to an end, and the reason is clear: His physical assault on one of the show's producers crossed a line, and the government-owned BBC couldn't tolerate it. The incident between Clarkson and Top Gear producer Oisin Tymon was initially described as a "fracas," and Clarkson was suspended. But his popularity and widespread support – even British Prime Minister David Cameron weighed in – suggested that the controversial Clarkson might be given yet another chance. The BBC put this to rest Wednesday when it sacked Clarkson and revealed the findings of its investigation. The report spelled out how Clarkson struck Tymon on the patio of a North Yorkshire (UK) hotel, leaving him with a bloodied, swollen lip. It was severe enough that the producer sought medical treatment. During and after the attack, Clarkson shouted expletives at Tymon and threatened to fire him. The noise carried into the hotel's dining room and even to a bedroom. Local police investigated the incident, but Tymon isn't pressing charges. The huge audience numbers, Clarkson's popularity and the high-octane excitement of Top Gear all melted away in the eyes of BBC director-general Tony Hall, who saw an attacker and a victim. "For me a line has been crossed," he said in a statement. "There cannot be one rule for one and one rule for another dictated by either rank, or public relations and commercial considerations." In that moment, Clarkson was the bad guy, though he was actually the one who reported it to the network and made repeated attempts to apologize to Tymon. He's also urged the media to leave the producer alone. Hall voiced regret in the statement that announced Clarkson's contract would not be renewed, but the BBC decided to move on. Rumors are swirling about possible replacements for Clarkson. The network says it wants to continue Top Gear in 2016 and is looking to air the rest of this season's episodes. Despite the controversy, the show has a global audience of 350 million viewers and is one of the BBC's most valuable properties. It's unclear what Clarkson's co-hosts, James May and Richard Hammond, will do, as their contracts were also reportedly up to be renewed. Bring back the Bronco! Trademarks we hope are actually (someday) future car names

Tue, Mar 17 2015

Trademark filings are the tea leaves of the auto industry. Read them carefully – and interpret them correctly – and you might be previewing an automaker's future product plans. Yes, they're routinely filed to maintain the rights to an iconic name. And sometimes they're only for toys and clothing. But not always. Sometimes, the truth is right in front of us. The trademark is required because a company actually wants to use the name on a new car. With that in mind, here's a list of intriguing trademark filings we want to see go from paperwork to production reality. Trademark: Bronco Company: Ford Previous Use: The Bronco was a long-running SUV that lived from 1966-1996. It's one of America's original SUVs and was responsible for the increased popularity of the segment. Still, it's best known as O.J. Simpson's would-be getaway car. We think: The Bronco was an icon. Everyone seems to want a Wrangler-fighter – Ford used to have a good one. Enough time has passed that the O.J. police chase isn't the immediate image conjured by the Bronco anymore. Even if we're doing a wish list in no particular order, the Bronco still finds its way to the top. For now (unfortunately), it's just federal paperwork. Rumors on this one can get especially heated. The official word from a Ford spokesman is: "Companies renew trademark filings to maintain ownership and control of the mark, even if it is not currently used. Ford values the iconic Bronco name and history." Trademarks: Aviator, AV8R Company: Ford Previous Use: The Aviator was one of the shortest-run Lincolns ever, lasting for the 2003-2005 model years. It never found the sales success of the Ford Explorer, with which it shared a platform. We Think: The Aviator name no longer fits with Lincoln's naming nomenclature. Too bad, it's better than any other name Lincoln currently uses, save for its former big brother, the Navigator. Perhaps we're barking up the wrong tree, though. Ford has made several customized, aviation themed-Mustangs in the past, including one called the Mustang AV8R in 2008, which had cues from the US Air Force's F-22 Raptor fighter jet. It sold for $500,000 at auction, and the glass roof – which is reminiscent of a fighter jet cockpit – helped Ford popularize the feature. Trademark: EcoBeast Company: Ford Previous Use: None by major carmakers.
