1963 Nova Ss Factory V8 Auto Loaded Hot Street Rat Rod Custom Cruiser Driver on 2040-cars
Irvington, Alabama, United States
1963 Nova SS, Factory Blue on Blue car, it also came from the factory with A/c, P/s, and P/b. The car is in no means a 100 point show car, this is a get in and enjoy play toy that you could win trophy's with at your local car shows and cruise ins. The car was a factory V8 auto on the column car, and now sports a 383 Stroker motor and Automatic with a shifter in the floor. The shifter in the floor is the only thing that has been changed to the interior of the car. The entire car just under went what most would call a frame on restoration and had all new interior put in, with the exception of the headliner, the factory headliner is still in the car, but their is a brand new one still in the package that goes with the car to the next owner. The car has a set of factory rally wheels and new tires on it. Most of the trim is new on the outside of the car, and the car is slick and clean looking in the factory silver blue metallic paint. The motor is just your average 383 stroker, nothing crazy and over the top, and certainly not a motor that is way to much power for the car. The car has loads of power, and sounds amazing with the dual flow master exhaust. The rear end in the car is a 10 bolt posi, and the car with bowl both tires if you like to have fun. The car has a aluminum radiator and motor fan as well as a electric fan, and has never run hot on me while driving or anything. The only thing I know the car to need is the stuff that goes under the hood for the A/C. I was going to up grade all the a/c stuff to a more modern vintage air kit, and have it blow through the factory box under the dash, because it would look factory in the car, but have a more modern and better a/c unit. That is really the only thing that I know the car to need. The car rides and drives ok, and is a blast. Everything on the car works just like it should, no issues their that I know about. This car is going to make someone a great little car to enjoy and have fun with. The car is for sale locally and is subject to be taken off if sold. The car is also sold as is with no warranty. A 25% deposit is due within 3 days of the auctions end and the balance within 7 more when the car is to be picked up or arrangements are made for the car to be shipped. If you have any questions about the car please fill free to ask and I will gladly answer them to the best of my ability. Thanks and God Bless, Charlie 251-751-7530 |

GM recalling 316k vehicles due to headlamp faults
Mon, Dec 1 2014General Motors has announced a recall covering 316,357 vehicles globally, due to the possibility of sporadic or permanent failure of the low-beam headlamps. 273,182 of these vehicles are in the United States, while the remaining affected units are in Canada, Mexico, and elsewhere. This recall includes the 2006-09 Buick LaCrosse (pictured above), 2006-07 Chevy TrailBlazer and TrailBlazer EXT, 2006-07 GMC Envoy and 2006 GMC Envoy XL, 2006-07 Buick Rainier, 2006-08 Saab 9-7X, and 2006-08 Isuzu Ascender. In an email sent to Autoblog, General Motors explains that if the headlamp driver modules are not functioning correctly, "the low-beam headlamps and daytime running lamps could intermittently or permanently fail to illuminate." GM states that this problem does not affect things like high-beams, turn signals, marker lamps, or foglamps. As of this writing, GM states it "has not been able to confirm whether the HDMs in these vehicles caused any vehicle accidents." The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has been notified, but the recall has not yet posted to the government agency's website. Scroll down to read the full details in GM's email. General Motors is recalling 273,182 Buick LaCrosse sedans and Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, Saab and Isuzu midsize SUVs in the U.S. for possible intermittent or permanent loss of low beam headlamps. Affected models are: 2006-2009 Buick LaCrosse sedans; 2006-2007 Chevrolet TrailBlazer and 2006 TrailBlazer EXT; 2006-2007 GMC Envoy and 2006 Envoy XL; 2006-2007 Buick Rainier; 2006-2008 Saab 9-7X and 2006-2008 Isuzu Ascender midsize SUVs. If the headlamp driver modules is not operating correctly, the low-beam headlamps and daytime running lamps could intermittently or permanently fail to illuminate. This condition does not affect the high-beam headlamps, marker lamps, turn signals, or fog lamps. GM has not been able to confirm whether the HDMs in these vehicles caused any vehicle accidents. The total population, including the U.S., Canada, Mexico and exports from North America is 316,357. The NHTSA was sent the Part 573 information for this recall on November 25. It has not yet posted to the NHTSA website. Chevrolet Camaros at SEMA are a mobile accessory catalog
Wed, 06 Nov 2013Chevy's goal at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas this week seems to be to show as much of its Performance and Accessories catalog as possible. That's why it brought three different Camaros - two with V8s and one powered by a V6 - with all of the best goodies from the catalog already fitted.
We gave a more in-depth recap of the Performance Camaro V8 Concept, the Performance Camaro V6 Concept and the Performance Garage Concept already, but we figured you'd like a short recap for each. It should be noted, though, that you can order all of the items you see here for your own Camaro, so be sure to take a long, hard look at our live galleries, just in case you're in the market for some mods.
Essentially, the Performance Garage Concept and the Performance V8 Concept are the same car - the only difference is that the later features a whole host of aesthetic tweaks in addition to its aftermarket, shorty exhaust headers and 2.75-inch exhaust. (The Performance Garage Concept has been usefully placed on its side; the better to see the new parts added to the vehicle.) The Performance V6 Concept is notable because, despite being a V6, there's no shortage of performance goodies fitted. All three of the Performance Camaros benefit from items from the Camaro ZL1, which can also be ordered through the catalog.
