1977 MONTE CARLO
THE CAR IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, BRAND NEW PAINT JOB, NEW TIRES, DUAL EXHAUST AND VERY CLEAN UNDER CARRIAGE AND ENGINE BAY.
THIS IS AN UNMOLESTED, AND WELL KEPT CAR THAT HAS JUST RECEIVED SOME REFURBISHING AND LOOKS AND RUNS GREAT. THE ODOMETER SHOWS 68K MILES AND THERE IS NO WAY OF DOCUMENTING THE MILEAGE BUT I AM INCLINED TO BELIEVE THEY MAY BE ORIGINAL DUE TO THE OVER ALL CONDITION OF THE CAR.
WE ARE CAR ENTHUSIASTS WITH A PASSION FOR AMERICAN CLASSICSS,
WE PRIDE OURSELVES IN LOCATING QUALITY CLASSICS TO BUY, SELL, SOME TIMES RESTORE AND SOMETIMES KEEP FOR AWHILE BUT EVENTUALLY SELL TO FIND MORE WHICH IS WHAT WE ENJOY DOING, FINDING QUALITY AMERICAN CLASSICS.
THERE ARE MANY AMERICAN CARS OF THE 1970s THAT ARE RAPIDLY BECOMING POPULAR AND GETTING THE ATTENTION OF THE COLLECTORS BUT STILL REMAIN AFFORDABLE ENOUGH FOR THE ENTRY LEVEL CAR LOVER THAT SIMPLY CANNOT PAY THE COMMANDING PRICE OF A CHEVELLE SS, GTO OR ROAD RUNNER.
THIS MONTE CARLO IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF THESE VEHICLES, A CAR BEGINNING TO APPRECIATE AND IF KEPT IN GOOD CARE IT'S SURE TO BE A SOLID INVESTMENT.
THIS IS NOT A BARRET JACKSON TRAILER QUEEN BUT A SUPERIOR DRIVER QUALITY CAR.
THE CAR IS BEING SOLD THROUGH OUR BUSINESS, "ILY'S SUNSHINE CLASSICS", WE WILL NEED TO PROCESS THE PROPER TRANSFER DOCUMENTATION TO THE NEW OWNER AND PAYMENTS WILL NEED TO BE MADE TO ILY'S SUNSHINE CLASSICS AS WELL. FLORIDA RESIDENTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PAY THE PERTINENT SALES TAX.
A $500.00 DEPOSIT THROUGH PAYPAL IS NEEDED FROM THE HIGH BIDDER AT AUCTION END AND THE BALANCE CAN BE A CASHIER CHECK OR MONEY ORDER, OR CASH IN PERSON. WE WILL ASSIST WITH THE SHIPPING AND MAY RECOMMEND A CARRIER WE HAVE USED BEFORE BUT THE SHIPPING COSTS ARE THE BUYER'S RESPONSIBILITY.
WE HAVE DESCRIBED THE VEHICLE AS ACCURATELY AND HONESTLY AS POSSIBLE YET WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO COME INSPECT IT OR HIRE A PROFESSIONAL TO INSPECT IT FOR YOU.
THE CAR AS WITH ANY USED VEHICLE IS BEING SOLD AS IS, THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES WRITTEN OR IMPLIED AND ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
THE RESERVE IS PLACED FAIRLY ACCORDING TO THE MARKET PRICING GUIDELINES AND THE QUALITY OF THE VEHICLE AND WE HAVE COMPARED OUR CAR TO THE OTHER SIMILAR VEHICLES CURRENTLY IN THE MARKET AND WE FEEL WE ARE OFFERING THE SUPERIOR QUALITY VEHICLE.
PLEASE IF YOU HAVE NO FEED BACK OR POOR FEEDBACK CALL US BEFORE YOU BID, IF YOU NEED TO SECURE FINANCING OR BORROW THE MONEY OR NEED APPROVAL FROM YOUR WIFE, KINDLY DO US ALL A FAVOR AND TAKE CARE OF THESE MATTERS BEFORE YOU BID, THIS IS NOT A GAME.

Race Recap: 2013 Indianapolis 500 better than Bollywood; all the emotion, none of the music [spoilers]
Mon, 27 May 2013If the 2013 Indy 500 were a movie it would be the one expected to win all the little statues come awards season, and if it were an athlete it would have made spectators watch in awe as it broke record after record. And this kind of talk comes after last year's race was considered one of the best ever - the last lap hijinks in 2012 and Takuma Sato's crash leading to a podium ceremony straight out of a Golden Globes tearjerker.
But this year's race delivered more than anyone expected, from the 250,000 fans to the commentators to the IndyCar series itself and, finally, to the guy who hopped through a two-mile window on Lap 197 to take the lead and keep it until the end.
UAW to vote on strike at Kentucky Corvette plant
Tue, 08 Apr 2014The current wait time for a new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is well, not short. With word of a strike at the Bowling Green, KY factory responsible for seventh-generation sports car, though, that wait time could end up growing substantially.
Now, a strike is still a ways off. UAW Local 2164, which represents the 800 workers responsible for screwing the Corvette together, is set to vote on authorizing a strike today, but even if the employees give the action a go, it's far from a sure thing. According to The Tennessean, both regional and national union officials would need to put their stamp of approval on strike action.
"The membership has to vote to strike, but it's just a step in the process," said Gary Casteel, the UAW's Region 8 director and one of the people that would need to authorize a strike action. Casteel told The Tennessean, "It's purely a local situation, though. They are having some issues with the local management."
'84 MotorWeek Cherokee, Bronco and Blazer comparison indulges your SUV nostalgia
Fri, Jan 16 2015These days, truck-based, full-frame SUVs are somewhat of a rarity on the auto landscape due to the rapid rise in popularity of easier-driving, car-based crossovers. Although, without the gradually building popularity of these chunky, high-riding vehicles decades ago, it's unlikely that America's roads would be filled with so many CUVs today. In its latest dig into the archives, MotorWeek has found a 1984 comparison test of a trio of these early Sport Utility Wagons, as long-time host John Davis called them, that helped get acceptance of this segment going. This is a red, white and blue test of the SUVs from American automakers at the time and pits the Chevrolet Blazer, Ford Bronco and Jeep Cherokee (specifically in Wagoneer guise) against each other. Driving manners and interior usability are considered in the evaluation, but Motorweek actually takes these vehicles off road, too. Among the bigger revelations is the improvement in on-road ability in the past 30 years. While specific 0-60 times aren't given, all three models take around 10 seconds just to get to around 50 miles per hour in the 500-feet on-ramp acceleration test. Check out this clip to see just how far this segment has progressed in the past three decades or just get a blast of nostalgia from these now vintage models.
