"1987 MONTE CARLO SS"
"44K ORIG MILES !!!
This car has been in our family since day one. I bought it for my wife brand new with 5miles on it and this car was her baby.......never raced or ran hard at all, always kept in the garage, and all maintenance done perfectly on time its whole life. Anyway to make a long story a lot shorter my wife has had some very bad health problems and has not been able to drive the car for the last 9 years. The car was put in my name at that time thats why the car fax shows 2 owners. Since then know has been allowed to drive the car , except myself. I just drove it at least 4 miles every 3 months just to keep it in good running shape and keep all the seals from dry rotting. Anyway I really don't even want to sell the car but it brings back to many memories for her so we have talked and decided to let the car go, and let someone enjoy it....Its just been sitting there for years. You will not believe this car when you see it in person !!!! It looks like it came off the showroom floor !!!
The out side is in mint cond !!! No rust anywhere on this car , no dents, no scratches, and the paint still shines like new.
The interior of the car also is in mint cond, and still even has the new car smell !!! No rips, No tears, No stains..... All the gauges work perfect !!! Even the instrument cluster lights shine super bright like it did in 1987.... It really feels like your driving a brand new 1987 Monte Carlo SS down the road.. The car is very fast...and I don't know why. Its just a 305 H.0 4 barrel. I think its a factory freak...I mean you floor it the car throws you in the seat and rips a second gear scratch , and it doesn't even have a shift kit, Just very very powerful !!! and stills feels very fresh.
OK the car has Ice Cold A/C, Great Heat, Power windows, Power Locks, Cruise, Tilt Wheel ect... It does have after market radio with CD player, But we do have the stock radio and it still looks brand new and it does work great !!!
Head liner still looks brand new , the car has never been smoked it, and no food allowed.
The factory wheels look brand new !!! tires are new.
Just last month when we decided to sell it we did the following to the car:
New brakes, new plugs, new wires, new cap, new rotor, ....We flushed radiator and filled with new antifreeze, we changed rear end gear oil, changed power steering fluid, brake fluid, Oil change, air filter, fuel filter ect....
We wanted the new owner just to be able to drive it with no worries !! So I don't care where you live you can fly in and drive this car home with problems at all. I would trust this car to drive across country right now ,no problem. Whoever gets this car will love it !!!! it will last someone for years and years to come, and is a blast to drive. I guarantee the first person that actually comes to see this car in person, and drives it will buy it on the spot !!!
I also talked to an Auto Shipping company and they said they can ship car right to your front door for 75 cents a miles. So ether way is fine with us. Please make sure before you bid you HAVE THE MONEY. I will not hold the car first person with 13,500 takes it..and its worth 16K to 18K easy, We just listed it cheap for a fast sale.
I forgot to mention we have every service record on this car starting from first oil change.
Good Luck...

Chevrolet considering midsize crossover to slot between Traverse and Equinox
Mon, Jan 9 2017Crossovers are the new hotness, and automakers are looking to cash in by offering a size and shape for every customer. With Chevrolet's debut of the new 2018 Traverse in Detroit, which grew ever so slightly compared to the first-generation model, there is now a midsize-crossover-sized hole between the three-row Traverse and the compact Equinox. When asked about that obvious space, a Chevrolet spokesperson told us the company is looking into the possibility of expanding its crossover lineup. It should be a relatively simple thing to do, since all it would take is reskinning and rechristening the GMC Acadia with a bow tie, and we all know how much GM loves platform sharing. Although they're now different sizes, the new Acadia and Traverse still use the same platform; the Acadia is now on a short-wheelbase version of the C1XX while the Traverse uses long-wheelbase C1XX parts. A short-wheelbase Chevy built on the C1XX likely would be differentiated visually from both the Acadia and the larger Traverse. It may seem like flooding the lineup with more and more models would cannibalize sales of existing ones, but Chevrolet said it would rather have customers stay within the brand rather than going to another automaker. There have been whispers that some form of the Blazer name (possibly TrailBlazer) may make a return on a midsizer, but if it does don't expect an old-school body-on-frame SUV like the old one. In the end, if Chevy builds it, customers will come. Related Video:
Chevy up to old EVs-equal-range-anxiety tricks in new Volt Olympics ad
Fri, Feb 14 2014General Motors is at it again with a new Chevrolet Volt TV commercial. Viewers of the Winter Olymics (at least in some markets) recently saw a TV ad in between the skating and the skiing that made no mention of the environmental benefits or freedom from the power of Big Oil that electric vehicles provide. No, this one was based on pure survival instinct. In the video, a father is driving down a highway, perhaps through the Mojave Desert. His young son is sitting in the Volt's backseat and asks what happens when the EV's battery runs out. "We'll have to cross that burning desert with snakes and cactus until we make it back to civilization," the dad tells his son as they pass the skeleton of a fallen bull. The fine print makes it clear that the actual maximum range is 342 miles. But there is hope. The father tells his son, with a beaming smile on his face, that the gas generator has kicked in and they're going to make it through the desert. As they wend their way to the horizon, a voice over says that Volt drivers who charge up regularly are making it 900 miles between fill ups. The fine print makes it clear that the actual official maximum range before you need to either plug in or fill up is 342 miles. This theme that emphasized range anxiety has been utilized by GM since the extended range Volt was launched in late 2010, despite the fact that Chevrolet now offers an all-electric vehicle in the Spark EV. Volt fans are praising the commercial, called The New Freedom, on the GM-Volt forum and you can see for yourself below. This content is hosted by a third party. GM program sees dealers taking on way more loaner cars
Wed, Dec 17 2014Given the volume of vehicles we're talking about, this is a significant development for GM's bottom line. Bring your car into the dealership for service, and you may need a loaner car in exchange. And with so many recalls being carried out, that means a lot of loaners – especially at General Motors dealerships. That could be one of the reasons why GM is massively expanding its loaner fleet program. While many Chevrolet and Buick-GMC dealerships have an on-site rental car location operated by a third party like Enterprise (which may or may not provide a GM vehicle), others manage their own loaner fleets. But while the range of dealerships operating such fleets was once small, reports Automotive News, the number has been growing rapidly: from the locations responsible for only 20 percent of those brands' sales two years ago to about 90 percent today. The impetus for that growth comes down to a massive expansion of GM's Courtesy Transportation Program. The initiative encourages dealers to ramp up their loaner fleet to a maximum size determined by GM, with a mix determined by the dealer itself, so that a showroom in Texas can be bolstered with a fleet of pickup trucks and a dealer in California can employ more Volt and Camaro Convertible loaners. The dealership gets a $500 credit for each vehicle its puts in its fleet, and can use those vehicles as loaners for service customers, as multi-day test drivers or to rent out separately. The vehicles remain in the dealer's fleet for 90 days or 7,500 miles, then they can be sold as used, but with new-car incentives. The dealer gets a fleet of loaners, customers get to use the loaners, try out a new car overnight or buy a barely used car with attractive incentives, and GM gets to clock more sales. But therein lies the kicker: the automaker counts the dispatch of the loaner new vehicle to the dealership as a new-car sale, which could end up distorting its sales figures. Counting loaner vehicles as sold vehicles is something of an industry-standard practice, but given the volume of vehicles we're talking about, this is a significant development for GM's bottom line. One dealership - Paddock Chevrolet in Kenmore, NY, for example - had no loaner fleet two years ago, but now runs a fleet of 50 vehicles. Multiply that by the 4,000 or so dealers GM has across America and you're talking about the potential for hundreds of thousands of these sorts of sales.
