I Have a great looking and good running Monte Carlo SS TTop car with the 305 V8. Car runs and drives good Car will need a couple of tires due to dry rotte. The Cars interior looks very nice not perfect but very nice no rips or tears in seat, the dash look almost perfect, We just got new headliner installed onto ttop covers and the rear of headliner, Carpet is almost new, Has aftermarket radio with cd player, amp and subs. All the interior trim pieces are there and look great Car has been stored inside for years which explains the interior being in the shape it is. I would rate the interior a 8.5 out of 10 for the year that it is. I also got the windows tinted we I first purchased the car and they look great.
The Motor is a 305 V8 with a carburator. The motor runs and sounds good it does have a exhaust leak at the manifold. The AC has been taken off the vehicle so there is no compressor. The Radiator started leaking about 4 months ago so we put new radiator in it at that time motor never got hot. The Trasnmission was rebuilt a few years back and has shift kit installed. It shifts nice and hard no slipping at all. I wouldnt be scared to drive this car to Florida except for the tires. The Check engine light does come on occassially but does not seem to effect the way it drives.
The exterior looks pretty good but does have some bad places. The paint on the trunk and top has the clear coat cracking not peeling just has some fine cracks. The car does have some minor rust starting to show up down low under the doors and fenders not bad some people wont even notice. There are no holes and pieces falling off just minor surface rust. It looks like the car has had some paint work done on it sometime before I got It I think the side and maybe hood has been painted and they did a great job doing it. The rims are all factory and look great. The trunk looks good no rust and has two subs in a nice box and has ttop bags.
I Own a tire repair shop here in Mountain Home Ar If you would like to see it Shop hours are from 8 to 5 Monday threw Friday and Saturday 9 to 12 any time threw those hours or we will have to set up a time for you to see it. Come look and take a drive.

Amelia Island 2013: Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray from concepts to split windows
Wed, 13 Mar 2013While this year marks 60 years of the Chevrolet Corvette, the 2013 Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance focused on one of the coupe's most sought after models, the 1963 Sting Ray. General Motors design boss Ed Welburn was on hand to show off the all-new C7 Corvette, but even the hard-edged styling of the 2014 Stingray couldn't take away from the beautiful 1963 models sitting out on the field.
In addition to the original Sting Ray and the 1959 Sting Ray Concept, some of the other classic 'Vettes included "Big Tank" racecars, an interesting cutaway coupe, a right-hand-drive Z06 and the attention-grabbing 1963 Corvette Rondine by Pininfarina. Another impressive Corvette was the 1964 Corvette XP-819 rear-engine prototype. Owner Mike Yager had the car finished as a driving chassis for this year's show, but promises the car will be back to its original glory in time for next year's event.
Corvette Stingray Shooting Brake under consideration by Callaway [w/poll]
Mon, 18 Mar 2013Callaway has released a few renderings of a design study for a shooting brake version of the C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The company says it wants to create a long-roof version of America's sports car to offer buyers more interior room and a vehicle with "unique style." The company says it will use structural carbon fiber for the new body bits, which suggests the conversion shouldn't add too much more weight to the Corvette. Along with a few mechanical tweaks, the Callaway Corvette Stingray AeroWagon could breeze past the 200 miles per hour barrier.
Provided that they get enough interest, Callaway estimates they will be able to effect the changes on the Chevrolet for around $15,000, and says the conversion work should be available through its network of dealers. You can check out the brief press release below for more information, or head over to the Callaway site to plunk down a deposit - but before you do, we want to know... do you find this C7 wagon interesting? Question of the Day: What's the most irritating car name?
Wed, Mar 9 2016You hear a lot about how the Chevrolet Nova was a sales flop in Mexico because "No va" means "it doesn't go" in Spanish; in fact, the Nova sold pretty well south of the border, and in any case most Spanish-speakers know that "Nova" means "new" in Latin and Portuguese. However, General Motors doesn't deserve to be let off the hook for bad car names, because the Oldsmobile Achieva— no doubt inspired by the excruciating "coffee achievers" ads of the 1980s— scrapes the biggest fingernails down the screechiest chalkboard in the US-market car-name world. That is, unless you think Daihatsu's incomprehensible choice of Charade was worse. Meanwhile, Japanese car buyers could get machines with cool names like Mazda Bongo Friendee or Honda Life Dunk. It's just not fair! So, what car name drives you the craziest? Related Video: Auto News Design/Style Chevrolet Honda Mazda Daihatsu Automotive History questions car names
