The Good: Almost everything about this car is GREAT! It just had a new fuel pump installed. The Engine runs so quiet I could hardly hear it run! The Engine and Transmission are solid and operate perfect! It has a premium sound system with CD player that sounds great! It has power everything: seats, windows, door locks, and sunroof(Will also discuss in "The bad"). Remote keyless entry with one remote and 2 sets of keys. It has driver and passenger climate control. Dueled out exhaust that has 2 tips per muffler, Impala premium aluminum wheels, full black leather seats, and I probably missed a ton more. This car is so beautiful that I wish I could keep her myself, and I'm a strict Ford man! Engine purrs like new, car rides like new and was very well kept as you will see and hear by looking at it! This car is also PA emissions and State inspected until July of this year and I don't foresee anything that would create a problem for the car to pass everything again! The tires are also in great shape! This is a car for any Chevy person to have some real fun with for a very long time!
The Bad: The clear coat has some damage on the rear spoiler, the top of the rear bumper, and a few areas on the roof. I believe these areas can be buffed and waxed to shine like new as they are not a big deal. The Power Sunroof has some issues that I will have to further diagnose. There are a few small dings in the cars body,(Otherwise cars body is near perfect with no rust anywhere that I could see!!!) and who would not expect this for a 15 year old car? The cars PATS security system no longer works, this does not cause a vehicle operation issue and I believe it to be the BCM but further diagnostics would be needed. The only other known issue is some minor interior things, these again are quick and easy repairs.
Hopefully I've not missed anything. I am a certified auto Technician if you are willing to go my full asking price I will repair any small issues at no charge for labor just parts needed would be charged for. This does not include body work. I will, however, give the car a good wash and wax if you would like as well. I need to get rid of this car ASAP because I have too many project cars parked around my house and I need the money much more than I need this Monte.
Thank you for looking. Please feel free to ask any questions. You can call or text me at (717)330-9429. You can also reach me at my home phone that number is (717)435-4210. Ask for Paul

GM recalls 64k 2011-2013 Volts over carbon monoxide fears, stop sale on Trax and Encore
Thu, Mar 12 2015General Motors is recalling 50,249 Chevrolet Volts from the 2011-2013 model years in the US and an additional 13,937 exported examples because of fears over carbon monoxide buildup. According to a statement, if a Volt is accidentally left on while running on electric power, its internal combustion engine would eventually kick on to charge on the battery. If this happens in an enclosed space, then carbon monoxide can fill the area, leading to a potential exposure to the dangerous gas. According to GM, there have been two injuries reported due to this issue. To fix the problem, there's a software update to limit the time the vehicle can idle. According to Automotive News, GM is also issuing a stop sale on about 2,300 examples of the 2015 Chevrolet Trax and Buick Encore. In these compact crossovers, it's possible that the steering column assembly could touch the power steering circuit board and cause damage over time. This could potentially cause the system to stop working. Automotive News indicates that the automaker is still working with the supplier to get the necessary parts to repair this problem. General Motors is recalling 50,249 Chevrolet Volts in the U.S. from the 2011-2013 model years to implement a software update that will limit the amount of time a vehicle can be left idling in the "on" or "run" position. If a driver exits the vehicle and inadvertently leaves the vehicle "on" by failing to react to cues and warning chimes emitted by the vehicle, the vehicle's high-voltage battery will drain after a period of time and the gasoline engine will begin to run. If the gas engine runs for a long period of time within an enclosed space, such as a garage, carbon monoxide could build up. GM is aware of two injuries, both related to carbon monoxide build up. The total recall population including Canada and exports is 64,186. Related Video:
Chevy: The Big Game
Mon, Feb 2 2015Chevrolet took an early lead for the 2015 Super Bowl advertising crown with its spot for the all-new, 4G LTE-capable Colorado pickup in a spot that simulated a problem with your TV. The stark, simple ad then states that if you're lucky enough to have an Internet-capable vehicle, like the new Colorado, you'd at least be able to stream the game. A clever, chuckle-inducing spot if there was one. Check out our full write up of the new, 2015 Colorado. Marketing/Advertising Chevrolet Truck Super Bowl Commercials Videos 2015 super bowl ad
Autonomous tech will drive motorheads off the road
Thu, Nov 9 2017While autonomous technology could make car travel much safer and more efficient — and automakers and marketers are salivating over the prospect of a "passenger economy" that could potentially generate $7 trillion by 2050 — those of us who enjoy driving are not so stoked. Experts have predicted that as autonomous vehicles are deployed in large numbers, human-driven cars eventually could be outlawed on public roads due to the carnage they create, which is currently more than 41,000 deaths a year in the U.S. alone and climbing. Such scenarios have driving enthusiasts envisioning a "Red Barchetta" style nightmare becoming reality, making Rush lyricist Neil Peart a clairvoyant as well as one of rock's most badass skin-pounders. But there could be a couple of refuges left for motorheads, and they won't be on public roads. As Popular Science's Joe Brown points out in a recent editorial, we're seeing a wave of vehicles being offered by legit mainstream automakers that aren't made for public roads. The poster child of this vanguard is the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, which comes with a crate full of goodies that lets you turn the already formidable street-legal muscle car into a drag-strip dominator. Brown also notes that two out of five of the Ford GT's driving modes are for use on the track, "catering to the $450,000 machine's club-racing clientele." We're also currently enjoying the heyday of production off-road-ready pickups that kicked off with the Ford Raptor in 2009. The latest salvo in this escalating war of overachieving trucks is the Chevy Colorado ZR2 that can take on the likes of California's Rubicon Trail without issue. Brown also gives a shout-out to his magazine's Grand Award Winner, the Alta Motors Redshift MX, which "isn't even allowed on public roads" and is "meant for bombing around motocross tracks, big backyards and single-track woods trails." If you follow Brown on Instagram, you know that he's also a two-wheel aficionado, and he points out that sales of off-road bikes are leaving street machines in the dust. Sales of off-highway motorcycles rose 29 percent between 2012 and 2016, according to the ÂMotorcycle Industry Council — compared to 6 percent for road-bike sales during the same period. "That's a nearly 400-percent drubbing," Brown remarks.
