1988 MONTE CARLO SS FOR SALE.. TWO OWNER VEHICLE.. WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET! THIS CAR IS NOT IN PERFECT CONDITION, BUT IS AN UNMOLESTED, ORIGINAL CAR. NOT TOO MANY OF THESE LEFT OUT ON THE ROAD. THIS ONE IS WHITE WITH GRAY CLOTH INTERIOR. JUST THE RIGHT COLOR COMBINATION. THERE IS MINOR RUST STARTING TO FORM AROUND THE T-TOPS AT THE TOP OF THE WINDSHIELD FRAME AND AT THE DRIVERS SIDE REAR... SEE PICTURES. THE CAR STARTS RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT. YOU CAN HEAR AN EXHAUST LEAK UNDER ACCELERATION FROM THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ENGINE AREA.. THE HEADLINER IS SAGGING BETWEEN THE TOPS AND THE REAR GLASS...
THE CAR HAS GOOD TIRES ON IT. THERE ARE NO LEAKS FROM THE DRIVE TRAIN AND THE VEHICLE STARTS UP AND RUNS STRONG. IT HAS BEEN IN STORAGE FOR THE PAST FEW YEARS, BUT IS BEING DRIVEN REGULARLY NOW. THE INTERIOR IS IN GOOD CONDITION. THE DASH HAS NO CRACKS AND HAS NOT BEEN MODIFIED AT ALL.. I AM SUPER IMPRESSED WITH THE OVERALL CONDITION OF THE INTERIOR. THE ORIGINAL STEREO IS STILL IN THE VEHICLE. THE WINDOWS ARE MANUAL AND BOTH WORK. THE WINDSHIELD DOES HAVE A CRACK RIGHT BEHIND THE INTERIOR REAR VIEW MIRROR.. WE ARE HOPING THAT SOMEONE CAN PURCHASE THIS AND BRING IT BACK TO LIFE.. THIS IS A GREAT PROJECT WITH ONLY MINOR THINGS TO CONSIDER.. 2016 Chevy Volt powertrain video teasers
Fri, Oct 31 2014If there's one thing we've learned about plug-in vehicle fans, you have a thing for seeing your cars get made. The series of videos showing BMW i3 production was strangely popular, as were the shots from inside the VW e-Golf plant. Well, with General Motors pulling the veil off of the 2016 Chevy Volt this week, it's time to take a peek at the production process for that vehicle as well. You're welcome. Up first we've got a clip from CNN Money showing a little bit about how the new Volt's new battery pack and other powertrain components are made. Those of you who are trying to read the lithium tea leaves and see if the new shape reveals that the 2016 Volt will have five seats might want to check it out. Then we've got two clips from GM itself, one showing an animation about the updated Voltec powertrain and another with some B Roll of the old Volt. Chevy gets cracking on Cruze EV fleet testing

The Chevrolet Volt hasn't yet gone on sale, but General Motors is looking at ways of expanding its electric vehicle lineup. Chevy, along with partner LG, is employing a group of all-electric cars in the form of the Cruze. The sedans are part of a demonstration fleet which is located in Seoul, South Korea and is being used to provide data in an electric vehicle research project. The goal is to gather information on driving patterns and charging behavior in addition to consumer acceptance.
The Cruze EVs, along with some Daewoo Lacetti Premieres EVs, are the first fleet of full-size electric vehicles and should provide invaluable information for The General. Staying full-size means not sacrificing cargo space, so the battery pack is mounted to the underbody, leaving the trunk area open for plenty recyclable, canvas grocery bags.
