I am the second owner of this car. I purchased it back in 1992 with 53,000 miles on it. Since then I've tried to keep it as original as possible. The only modifications I made were mainly to the dash. Back in 1992 I replaced the "Idiot Lights" with gauges, cut the dash to accept a newer style radio and installed speakers in the doors. Otherwise everything is basically the way it came from the factory. This is a numbers matching car. The body has minor body dents/dings. The body solid with no rust-through under the car or around the wheelwells (Factory undercoated). Original paint has minor defects and has touchups in a few areas. The car starts, runs and drives good. Tires have plenty of tread but show some signs of age.
When I took the car out of storage in April, I decided to install new springs in order to restore the ride height. That led to me replacing a lot of parts since I was under there anyway. It's not that they were necessarily bad, just that they were 40 years old. Some of the things I ran across were things like; the U-Joints had the factory plastic retainers and the Ball Joints had the factory rivets(I took Pictures). That confirms a low mileage car. Here's a list of the parts I replaced (5/13, 64,000);
Front Bumper Fillers, New Radiator, Battery Tray, Belts, Upper and Lower Radiator Hoses, Auto Trans lines, Valve Cover Gaskets, Oil Pan Gasket, Upper and Lower Control Arm bushings, Upper and lower Ball Joints, Steering Stabilizer, Front Sway Bar Links, Front and Rear Shocks, Front and Rear Springs, Power Brake Booster and Master Cylinder, Front Calipers and Rear Wheel Cylinders, Front Brake Pads and Rear Brake Shoes, All Brake Lines and Hoses Replaced, Trans Mount, U-Joints, Vinyl Top.
Notice to potential Buyers; It's important that you understand that this car has conventional ignition and a carburetor. You should have a good understanding of point gap/dwell/timing,carburetor adjustments and their operation. For example; you need to step on the gas pedal once before starting the car. This sets the choke and pumps a shot gas into the carb. There is no computer to take care of these things for you.
Deposit of $500.00 via PayPal is required within 24HRS of action close. Balance due within 7days of action close. Buyer is responsible for pickup of vehicle and any shipping costs. Any questions about the car you can email me at M421milo@Gmail.com

New Chevrolet Silverado to be revealed on Facebook on Thursday
Tue, 11 Dec 2012There's not much to see here, but if you're one of those waiting for the reveal of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, above is the teaser image that Chevrolet posted on its Facebook page. We've seen the truck in form-fitting camo before, and even less can be made out here beyond those seriously punchy Silverado-esque fenders and the knowledge that the projector-beam headlamps teased previously do indeed work. We'll have to wait until Thursday for a full perusal of the "bold exterior design" and "careful attention given to every detail" we've been promised.
Gathering intel and rumors, magnesium and aluminum contribute to the Silverado's weight loss plan, the purported "High Country" top-tier trim will contribute to luxury pickup truck competition and profit margins and the next-generation small-block V8 will contribute to improved fuel economy. On the engine note, there have been rumors of available V6 engines, and when Facebook user John Jones asked "Where's your answer to that EcoBoost Chevy?", the Bowtie replied "stay tuned on the 13th. We think you'll be pleased...".
Along with the "Raise the Bar" tag, Chevrolet says of the Silverado, "You asked, we delivered." You can watch the reveal live on Chevrolet's Facebook page at 9:30 am EST, this Thursday, December 13. The GMC Sierra 1500 will also be there, and we'll see both in person at the Detroit Auto Show in January.
Recharge Wrap-up: Ford HQ gets giant solar array, Chevy City Express gets 24 MPG city
Sat, Aug 16 2014Ford will be building Michigan's largest solar array at its Dearborn headquarters. With funding from DTE Energy, the solar carport will provide covered parking, as well 30 charging stations for electric vehicles. The array is expected to generate 1.13 million kWh per year for Ford's operations, and offset 794 metric tons of carbon emissions. Read more in the press release below. Chevrolet announced the fuel economy for the 2015 City Express, at 25 mpg combined. The cargo van is rated at 24 mpg in the city, and 26 mpg on the highway. Chevy credits the van's inline four-cylinder engine and continuously variable transmission for its impressive city mileage. For its customers - which are mainly businesses - "The fuel economy of the City Express will help stretch their dollar at the pump and give them the flexibility to invest the savings back into their business," says Chevrolet's Ed Peper. The City Express starts at $22,950. Read more in the press release below. Engineers at the University of Wisconsin have developed an efficient engine that runs on a diesel-gas blend. The engine, which uses a computer to control the blend proportions, is about 15 percent more efficient than the any diesel engine according to mechanical engineering professor Rolf Reitz. The team has put the experimental reactivity controlled compression ignition (RCCI) engine in a demonstration car - a 2009 Saturn. "This vehicle can do 50 miles per gallon," says Reitz, who believes the system could be improved further. Read more at Wisconsin Public Radio. The Southeast Alternative Fuel Conference and Expo will take place in October in Raleigh, North Carolina. Held at the NC Clean Energy Technology Center from October 22-24, the event will feature a variety of exhibitors, speakers and, most importantly, alternatively powered vehicles. "The three day conference will be a one-stop shop for fleet and transportation related decision makers to learn about return on investment, efficiency and alternative transportation fuels such as biodiesel, electricity, ethanol, propane and natural gas," says Anne Tazewell of the NC Clean Energy Technology Center. If you can't make it to Raleigh for the Expo, you can still enter to win a free two-year lease of a Nissan Leaf at the Center's website. Learn more about the event in the press release, below.
Helicopter crashes on Top Gear Korea set while chasing Corvette ZR1
Mon, 11 Feb 2013The formula of Top Gear Korea is seemingly about the same as it is everywhere else in the world, including the flagship British original: involve interesting cars in fantastical situations with charismatic hosts. That prescription has proved to be pretty reliable over the years, and has lead to some truly memorable and exciting pieces of television.
Something like that was undoubtedly what the Korean producers were after when they lined up this segment - a drag race between a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 and an AH1 Cobra military helicopter. The planners almost certainly did not expect the filming of the segment to go quite as wrong as it actually did, with the helicopter actually crashing into the dirt after the "drag race" had been completed. Thankfully, we're told that no one was seriously injured in the crash, but the footage, in the video below, is pretty damn chilling to watch, nevertheless.
