1972 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu on 2040-cars
Palm Bay, Florida, United States
DO TO NOT BID ON THIS CAR IF YOU HAVE A (0) RATING!!! This is a 1972 Chevelle Malibu with a clean title.
Original color was code 43 Gulf Green with vinyl top and green interior. Had a
350 with Auto Trans, ac, drum brakes all around and a 12 bolt. All metal is
original to the car except the new rear valance, 1/4 skin, the common rear
fender and quarter patches. New floor pan patch on the driver’s side and
drivers a pillar (needs finishing). Trunk had a very few pin holes that have been welded (not
thin). Bottom, firewall and roof are good as well as the doors. All that is needed
is some restoration not a lot. Frame is in excellent condition. The 12 bolt is
original to the car as well. Also the trim holes for the vinyl top have been
welded as was not going with vinyl again. The firewall has been patched for the
AC to be changed to the Vintage Air system which is available for a drop in
unit. Bench seat is there as well as two dashes. Everything is there that came
off the car and most is tagged and bagged. Also comes with the doomed hood. Pictures should tell most of the story except the car was bead blasted and set in a warehouse for a couple of years. The rust that is showing now is only skin rust which needs another blasting. Overall this is a very good car to rebuild. This vehicle comes with all the glass EXCEPT the windshield. This car has no motor or transmission. The car is
available for local pick-up. You are encouraged to come inspect
the car before you bid. I will be happy to arrange affordable shipping to your
door. Thank you and good luck bidding. 321-505-2443 (mrcrum2u@gmail.com) |

Chevy shows much-improved 2014 Corvette interior in new video
Mon, 11 Feb 2013If you want a closer look at what went into designing and building the interior for the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette, we've got just the thing. General Motors has released a new video detailing the cabin's evolution from conception to execution, complete with commentary from Ryan Vaughn, performance car interior design manager with Chevrolet. The quick clip details how manufacturing, engineering and design within General Motors worked together from the first sketches to ensure no compromises had to be made later down the line. How novel.
With plenty of hides traced with contrast stitching and available real carbon fiber trim, the cabin looks to be a few hundred miles ahead of the C6. Given how readily critics derided the previous generation for its cabin, the C7 should make writers work a little harder to find something to complain about. Check out the video below for yourself.
Is Buick's surprise Detroit concept a Camaro-sized coupe?
Sun, Jan 10 2016Tomorrow night marks the unofficial start of the 2016 Detroit Auto Show. Keep your eyes peeled for a number of reveals, including a surprise debut from Buick. Yes, Buick. And we think it's going to be something really hot. According to a report from Bloomberg, the Tri-Shield's secret car could be a Camaro-sized sport coupe concept. As Bloomberg explains, it'd certainly gel with the impression the company is trying to put out – that it's no longer a brand for those with one foot in the grave. Introducing a sports coupe, even as a concept, could certainly reinforce that message. And if it happens to make production – which is not a certainty, Bloomberg's secret source says – it could certainly help Buick drive its average buyer age down from 59. Bloomberg doesn't offer any speculation on Buick's new coupe, but we have no problem making educated guesses. Our most reliable conjecture is this: it will ride on General Motors' Alpha platform, which underpins both the Camaro and the Cadillac ATS. And with a certain twin-turbocharged V6 in the GM stable, we've got an idea of what kind of engine could be shown. That speculation will have to suffice for now. But don't worry, we'll have official details, live images, and video tomorrow when Buick unveils its new concept in Detroit's Eastern Market.
GM to squeeze out more production capacity for midsize trucks
Tue, May 26 2015General Motors was predicting a strong showing for the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon before they debuted, and demand among dealers for the midsize trucks even exceeded company's expectations. The positive situation has left GM with a problem, though: finding ways to increase capacity for the pickups at the Wentzville Assembly plant in Missiouri. With a third shift already running, GM has continued to look for ways to build just a few more of the trucks at the plant. The company has plans to hire as many as 1,000 more workers for the Saturday and Sunday shifts to construct an additional 2,000 pickups a month, according to unnamed insiders at the factory speaking to Automotive News. The little adjustments even extend to getting rid of an unpaid break to add 18 minute of assembly time over the course of a day, which equals about 3,500 more vehicles a year. All of this effort comes because the trucks are in such high demand. According to GM's figures, the company has delivered a combined 35,720 units of the Colorado and Canyon from January through April 2015, and the Chevy was the fastest-selling truck in the US for the previous three months. In May, it spent an average of just 12 days in showrooms before being snapped up. And even better for the company, 43 percent of these buyers came from other brands. According to Automotive News, the most popular trade-ins have included the Ford F-150, Toyota Tacoma, and Dodge Dakota. Related Video:
