2015 Chevrolet Impala on 2040-cars
Hamilton, Indiana, United States
This Impala is clean , well maintained and looking for a good home. The vehicle has the remainder of the factory bumper to bumper 36,000 mile warranty and 100,000 mile powertrain(engine/transmission/drive axle etc.) I have added a brand new 22" inch wheel and tire package less than a month ago. The tires are top of the line Pirelli Pzero neros to ensure a quite smooth ride, lots of grip, and a healthy tread life. The ride feels very similar to the stock wheels , very little was sacrificed to achieve this amazing custom look. The wheels and tires alone were $3500. The wheel spokes can be custom colored before delivery at no additional cost. I spent another $1000 having the engine control module and transmission control module professionally tuned for MUCH better performance and enjoyable drivability. This Impala is quite a bit faster and more responsive than any stock Impala as a result. 0-60 is achieved in just over 5, almost a full second faster than stock. Other amenities include; push button start, remote start, heated seats, interior night time ambient lighting, touch screen lcd display, xm satellite radio, and auto/manual tiptronic transmission.

Texas sues GM, saying it tricked customers into sharing driving data sold to insurers
Wed, Aug 14 2024Texas filed a lawsuit Tuesday against GM over years of alleged abuse of customers' data and trust. New car owners were presented with a "confusing and highly misleading" process that was implied to be for their safety, but "was no more than a deceptively designed sales flow" that surrendered their data for GM to sell. The suit contends that at no point was selling driving data ever even suggested as a possibility, putting GM in violation of the state's consumer protection laws. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is seeking a jury trial and at least $10,000 per offense (every GM car sold in the state since 2015) and a hefty add-on of $250,000 in cases where the victim was over 65. Texas seems to be flying high after a recent $1.4 billion settlement from Meta over other privacy concerns. This may well be a way to solve any pending budgetary issues in the Lone Star State.
GM recalling 118K Colorado, Canyon pickups over missing hood latches
Thu, 20 Dec 2012General Motors has announced a recall of 118,800 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon pickup trucks due to the possibility of secondary hood latches not being installed at the time of manufacture. The affected vehicles are from the 2010, 2011 and 2012 model years, all of which were built between November 9, 2009 and August 28, 2012.
According to the official National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report, these trucks fail to "comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 113, 'Hood Latch System.' The hood may be missing the secondary hood latch." In other words, owners of these trucks could find their vehicles' hoods opening unexpectedly while driving.
The official recall campaign is expected to begin on January 17, 2013. Dealers will inspect the affected pickups and if a secondary hood latch is not present, one will be installed free of charge. Scroll down to read the official NHTSA report.
Supercharged 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 takes the C7 beyond the ZR1
Mon, 13 Jan 2014
The Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
After a bright-yellow false start, here is the real thing: the fourth-generation, 2015 Corvette Z06. If Chevrolet makes a ZR1 version of the C7 Corvette, it's going to be absolutely mega, because the Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
