You are bidding on a 2008 Chevrolet Impala LS school fleet car. It is a 3500 V6, PW, PB, PL, Cruise, Automatic, AM/FM, CD, good tires, no rust. It has 88,352 miles. Has been well maintained by the school. It is white with gray interior. It was taken out of service in September. Started up with a jump and ran great. 
I am selling surplus fleet vehicles for Greater Southern Tier Board of Cooperative Educational Services (GST  BOCES). These cars were used by the school for staff to visit schools, go to conferences etc. They were used for 6 weeks in the summer to teach driver education. This car may be seen at Bush Campus, GST BOCES, 459 Philo Road, Elmira, NY 14903. Vehicles must be paid for and picked up at this location. All vehicles sold "as is where is". 2016 Chevy Volt will not need premium gas

Buried in the new technical details of the 2016 Chevy Volt released yesterday was a throwaway line about a small but important change that's due to the new 1.5-liter, four-cylinder engine. The first-gen Volt has always required premium gas but the new powerplant will be happy burning plain old regular. The Volt's chief engineer, Andrew Farah, told AutoblogGreen that the change was due to today's Volt owners explaining they were not happy paying for top-shelf petroleum. "The ability to use regular unleaded was based directly on customer feedback," he said. "Since the range extender is an all-new engine, it was optimized to use regular unleaded at the outset. Using regular fuel will not have effect on vehicle acceleration or other performance factors." As Larry Nitz, GM's executive director of vehicle electrification, told AutoblogGreen yesterday, the new engine is more powerful and quieter than the outgoing 1.4-liter engine that's used in the current Volt. Fuel economy and EV range specs for the next-gen Volt are not expected until the full car is revealed at the Detroit Auto Show in January.

Living in an apartment complex has its benefits, but for shade-tree mechanics who like/need to work on their own cars, it definitely has a number of disadvantages. Relatively simple tasks such as brake jobs and oil changes are difficult when you don't have dedicated driveway space, to say nothing of more in-depth repairs... like pulling an engine, for example.
