2008 Chevy Impala with miles on it, most of them are highway miles commuting to work and going to see family in a different state. The car runs fine great all updates up to date and went through a check up before I posted it for sale. The front and back brakes and rotors just got replaced along with one of the two actuators. The second actuator does need to be replaced also, although it does not effect the air conditioning in any way it does have a clicking noise for about 10 seconds when you start the car I just did not get around to having it replaced and I am getting ready to move. The interior of the car is clean and owned by a non-smoker. The outside of the car is also in good shape with a grey line across the back by the license plate where a car bumped into the rear of the vehicle. Car is well maintained by a non-smoker. |

GM already raising prices on 2014 Silverado and Sierra pickups
Mon, 14 Oct 2013General Motors must be pretty pleased with sales of its two newest pickups, the GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado, as it's announced price hikes for both models, as part of a planned price tweak.
Prices will be bumped by as much as $1,500, although weirdly, they'll be offset by as much as $1,500 in cash-back offers through the end of October. Fox Business reports that GM spokesman Jim Cain said of the price hike, "With the sell down of the '13 models nearly complete, this price adjustment was planned and is a normal part of business."
The move, as Fox is quick to point out, is an interesting one, as sales of the twin pickups struggled last month relative to the Ford F-Series, while both of GM's crosstown competitors have been aggressively undercutting Silverado and Sierra prices. The F-150 starts at $24,070 and the Ram 1500 comes in at $23,600, not counting any cash on the hood. A base Silverado, meanwhile, retails at $25,575.
Feds open investigation into Chevy Express, Ford Freestar rust issues

Well, for Ford and General Motors, a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation. According to The Detroit News, NHTSA is looking into potential recalls issues with Chevrolet Express vans and Ford Freestar minivans.
The feds have received five complaints that rust has caused leaking fuel filler pipes on 2003 Express vans. Separately, seven complaints have been filed over excessive rust in the rear wheel wells of 2004 Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey minivans. The Freestar and Monterey went out of production in 2007. Neither issue has resulted in any crashes or injuries, according to the report.
