GOT HOME FROM AZ AND FOUND THIS 04 IMPALA IN MY STORAGE GARAGE. IT BELONGS TO MY SON AND DAUGHTER-IN-LAW AND WHEN I SAID I NEEDED THE GARAGE TO STORE MY Z06, THEY TOLD ME TO LIST IT ON E-BAY. I WILL ACCENTUATE THE POSITIVE FIRST.  AFTER SITTING FOR SOME TIME IN THE GARAGE IT STARTED RIGHT UP.  I TOOK IT OUT FOR A SPIN AND IT REALLY DOES RUN NICE AND TRACKS DOWN THE ROAD PERFECTLY, AC WORKS, ELEC SEATS WORK, ALL LIGHTS ON DASH WORK. TIRES ARE GOOD, NOT EXCELLENT!   3400 ENGINE RUNS FINE AND IS TIGHT AS WELL AS THE TRANNY.  MAINTENANCE ALWAYS DONE IN THE FARM SHOP SO ALWAYS GOT THE BEST OILS AND LUBRICANTS ON A TIMELY BASIS  WILL MAKE SOMEONE A VERY DEPENDABLE UNIT.

NOW FOR THE NOT SO GOOD.  SHE HAD A RUN-IN WITH A COUPLE COON A FEW YEARS BACK AND DENTED THE FRONT VALANCE UNDER THE FRONT BUMPER.  MUST HAVE ROLLED DOWN THE RIGHT SIDE AS THERE ARE SOME IMPERFECTIONS IN THE RIGHT SIDE BODY. ALSO A SMALL CREASE IN THE HOOD DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED THERE BUT WANTED  YOU TO KNOW UNDER FULL DISCLOSURE. AS I SAID ALL LIGHTS WORK ON DASH INCLUDING THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WHICH IS ON.  NOT AT ALL UNCOMMON. DOES NOT EFFECT THE ABILITY OF THE CAR TO PERFORM BUT IT IS ON.

WE ARE STARTING THIS AUCTION AT 20.04 FOR THE YEAR IT WAS BUILT WITH ABSOLUTELY NO RESERVE SO BID TO WIN. RESERVE RIGHT TO END AUCTION EARLY FOR FIRST 2250.  HAVE IT LISTED WITH A FEW OTHER VENUES.  I WILL PROVIDE FINANCING IF YOU WANT. 2 GRAND DOWN AND 250 WHEN YOU PICK IT UP.  THEY HAVE THE CLEAR TITLE SO YOU CAN DRIVE OFF WITH THE CAR AFTER FULL CASH PAYMENT.  THIS WILL MAKE SOMEONE A GOOD SCHOOL CAR OR WORK CAR. DO NOT BID IF YOU EXPECT SOMETHING PERFECT OR ARE UNCOMFORTABLE WITH A FEW DENTS AND SCRATCHES.  CALL BEN WITH QUESTIONS AT 402-984-2317 AND KEEP TRYING AS HE IS ON THE PHONE CONSTANTLY WITH THE FARMING BUSINESS.  WILL BE GLAD TO SHOW IT TO YOU AND IF THE NEW BUYER IS VERY FAR AWAY WILL BE HAPPY TO HELP WITH SHIPPING AT BUYERS EXPENSE. ALSO IF YOU WANT THE CAR IN THE LAST PICTURE BRING ANOTHER 40 GRAND!

Chevrolet Camaros at SEMA are a mobile accessory catalog

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

Chevy's goal at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas this week seems to be to show as much of its Performance and Accessories catalog as possible. That's why it brought three different Camaros - two with V8s and one powered by a V6 - with all of the best goodies from the catalog already fitted.
We gave a more in-depth recap of the Performance Camaro V8 Concept, the Performance Camaro V6 Concept and the Performance Garage Concept already, but we figured you'd like a short recap for each. It should be noted, though, that you can order all of the items you see here for your own Camaro, so be sure to take a long, hard look at our live galleries, just in case you're in the market for some mods.
Essentially, the Performance Garage Concept and the Performance V8 Concept are the same car - the only difference is that the later features a whole host of aesthetic tweaks in addition to its aftermarket, shorty exhaust headers and 2.75-inch exhaust. (The Performance Garage Concept has been usefully placed on its side; the better to see the new parts added to the vehicle.) The Performance V6 Concept is notable because, despite being a V6, there's no shortage of performance goodies fitted. All three of the Performance Camaros benefit from items from the Camaro ZL1, which can also be ordered through the catalog.

Chevrolet Malibu gets across-the-board price cuts, hopes to dig out of slump

Mon, 11 Feb 2013

To say that things aren't going well for the newly redesigned 2013 Chevrolet Malibu is a pretty sizable understatement. Reports have been swirling about the Malibu getting an emergency design refresh, less than a year after its introduction, as well as having its production at the Fairfax Assembly Plant halted twice already this year for excessive inventory. Now, Motor Trend is reporting that the midsize sedan will be receiving price drops across the board ranging from $300 on a number of models up to $770 on the 1LT trim; offsetting some of MSRP drop, though, the destination charge has increased from $760 to $810.
Without destination, the entry-level Malibu LS now starts at $21,995, which is still about $300 more than a Honda Accord and about $300 less than the segment's top-selling Toyota Camry. This new pricing also drops the price of the Eco, 2LT and 3LT trims by $300. The LTZ trim has dropped by $415, meaning that the Malibu's top dog now starts at just under $30,000, excluding destination.
Here are the new starting prices for all eight of the Malibu trim levels compared to the previous prices for the 2013 model year (including destination):

Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat vs. Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in latest Head 2 Head

Fri, Jan 30 2015

"Olympian" is one of the terms we use to signify the greatest height, the seat of the gods. Yet Mt. Olympus is the second-highest peak in the Balkans ranges, overshadowed by the crest at Musala in Bulgaria's Rila mountains. Both great heights, but one is a little higher. That's how we get the Olympian Chevy Camaro ZL1 pitched at the Musalic Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat in Motor Trend's latest episode of Head 2 Head. The side-by-side spec sheet is filled with farcical numbers. For the ZL1, that's a 6.2-liter V8 with 580 horsepower, 556 pound-feet of torque, a 4,051-pound curb weight, 0-to-60 miles per hour in 3.9 seconds, a quarter-mile time of 12.2 seconds and a base price of just $57,800. Opposing that, the Hellcat wrings out its 6.2-liter V8 for 707 hp, 650 lb-ft of torque, weighs 4,449 pounds, does the quarter in 11.7 seconds and has a base price of just $60,990. Except in the case of the Hellcat, when Motor Trend put it on the dyno the machine spit out a reading of 672 hp and 606 lb-ft at the wheels. If there's a 10-percent driveline loss through those beefed-up internals and heavy-duty eight-speed transmission, that means the Hellcat is actually rated at about 750 horsepower and 700 lb-ft. But once they get put on a closed-off strip of coast road in Northern California, there are only a few strands of hair between their respective performances. That's not the case for they sensations provide; host Jonny Lieberman calls one of them, "One of the most incredible cars ever made," and says, "It changes everything." Watch the video above to see who got the verdict and how. Related Video:
