Casey, Iowa, United States
you are bidding on a 1970 chevy impala convertible. Factory A/C car ,those parts go with it..previous owner started to strip it and had the brake calipers off so those pieces will need attention.. parts may or not be in trunk I haven't opened it because I don't have trunk key and didn't want to tear it up. I had intentions of restoring her but have to let her go. The motor is fresh, it has some dust from sitting in garage but is a 350 4 bold main with a scat crank, eagle I beam rods, pro comp aluminum heads which were sent to professional engine shop to be gone through for correct tolerances, roller rockers, external balanced, estimated hp was 400-450. broken in with zinc like your are supposed to, no issues, sounds very very healthy, was run off a separate tank, fuel tank will need dropped and cleaned or replaced, varnished gas, front transmission seal was replaced, new long tubed headers, nice show chrome intake, all parts are included that go with car except for distributors, and parts on the car that don't belong on it.labor and misc bearing parts were over 2200 for short block alone not including heads, intake carb, scat crank, rods and roller rockers. top went down on its own and I have left it that way have ignition key. please look at pictures, dash is in great shape. Will make a great project car for someone.. I wish I had the means to finish her but I can't my loss is your gain Mileage is unknown probably rolled over good luck |

Autoblog Podcast #327:
Pics Aplenty: Meet the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra [w/poll]
Thu, 13 Dec 2012Today was a pretty big day for General Motors, debuting the all-new Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra light-duty pickup trucks ahead of their official showcase at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. And now that the dust has settled at GM's big reveal event, we've had a chance to snap dozens of photos of the new pickup pair from every angle.
We already told you the important bits earlier today (click here in case you missed it), but let's recap. Under the hood are three new engines - a 4.3-liter V6, 5.3-liter V8 and 6.2-liter V8 (you know, a version of the small-block that'll also be found under the hood of the C7 Corvette), all mated to six-speed automatic transmissions. The 2014 model year marks the return of the Z71 off-road package with Rancho shocks, front tow hooks and beefier underbody protection. Inside, there's a host of new technology and a greater focus on better quality and refinement.
Some of the nitty-gritty specifics (like engine output numbers and fuel economy) have yet to be revealed, and since we haven't driven the finished products yet, it's hard to say how these trucks will fare against rivals like the Ram 1500 and Ford F-150. For now, we can only judge these two books by their covers, and while we do like the designs of the new trucks, we Autoblog staffers are torn on exactly which one looks best.
Toyota tops Kelley Blue Book's Resale Value Awards
Tue, 27 Nov 2012Kelley Blue Book announced its annual Best Resale Value Award winners, and we weren't too surprised to see the list dominated by Japanese automakers - mainly Toyota and Honda. KBB hands out the awards based on the projected residual value of mostly all 2013 model year vehicles, and Toyota skated home with a number of awards including 10 of the 22 overall categories and having five of its products in the top 10 for models with best resale value. KBB's Best Resale Value Awards were announced in the same week as the ALG Residual Value Awards, and there were many similarities between both lists, especially when it came to Toyota.
To come up with its winners, KBB measures depreciation over the first five years of ownership, and looks for the cars it expects to hold its value the best after this time; on average, the report says the 2013 model year vehicles will lose 61.8 percent of its value in five years. Of the 22 categories, 15 slots were filled by Toyota, Honda and Nissan products, while the Camaro and Porsche (Cayenne and Panamera) each took home a pair of awards. If Toyota has anything to be upset about in this list of cars, it's that categories for Hybrid/Alternative Energy Car and Electric Vehicle went to the Ford Fusion and Chevrolet Volt, respectively.
The overall top 10 models for the best resale value in 2013 are, in alphabetical order:
