This is a 2006 HHR with 123000 miles on it, the car is very clean outside and in.

Everything works on the car and it runs and shift good.
Tires has at least 70% thread left.
The only thing with this car is that it has a rebuilt title a couple of years ago.
I bought the car with 46000 miles on it and the title was already rebuilt then.
I put almost 80000 miles on this car and everything works and handles as it should,
A rebuilt title means that they fix the car after an accident and after that they have to do an inspection to
get the car cleared and road worthy again.
This car had the accident in the rear end, so the rear end has been repainted, and you
can see some color difference with a close up look.
But this does not affect anything with the driving of the car.
The car has always been well maintained as you can see in the pictures.
Off course there is some small scratches and dings but nothing major.
The engine light is on and off all the time, and they always are on this car model, so nothing is wrong.
The key fob stopped work, so I have bought a new one, but it needs to be activated by a Chevy dealer.
But I just use the regular lock.
This has been a great car for me and I have not had any problems at all, only selling because I need a truck for the moment.
This will be a really affordable car for the money and I have the reserve price low.
Also I may be interested in a trade for a pick up truck 2000 - 2006 and I could always put some money in between.

Are you the 2014 Corvette Grand Sport?

Thu, 21 Feb 2013

When are stripes more than just stripes? Follow up question: Is the product development team at Chevrolet really cocky enough to hide the next C7 Corvette variant in plain sight? This very recently spotted, and ostensibly obscured C7 asks a lot more questions than it answers, but there's at least some evidence to support that it might be the next Corvette Grand Sport.
The first and most obvious tip-off that something is up with this 'Vette revolves around those silver stripes. Obviously the stripes themselves don't necessarily denote a new model. However, when Chevy recently launched its "colorizer" website for the Stingray, there was no provision made for racing stripes - solid colors only.
Grand Sport exhibit number two is actually an incriminating lack of badges. The production Corvettes we've seen to date have all carried Stingray badges on their fenders, just behind the vent. The car seen in these images has no such badges, which is an intriguing omission on an car that looks like a production-spec vehicle otherwise.

2013 Chevy COPO Camaro announced with two new engines and manual option

Thu, 07 Mar 2013

Chevrolet is following up the 2012 COPO Camaro with another limited run of the drag-strip-ready production car for 2013. Ditching the superchargers, the 2013 COPO Camaro can only be equipped with one of three naturally aspirated V8 engines, and other new features include the option of a manual transmission, new front springs, some minor styling changes and a lower starting price of $86,000. All cars are designed to abide by the rules of the NHRA's Stock Eliminator or Super Stock classifications, depending on in which series buyers wish to enter their Chevrolet Camaro.
Returning for 2013 is the 427-cubic-inch V8 producing 425 horsepower, but the new engines include a 325-hp 350-CID V8 and a 375-hp 396-CID V8. Buyers can select to purchase all three engines, and each will be matched with the sequence number of that car; the track-only COPO cars will not have vehicle identification numbers and can't be registered for street use.
Chevrolet is also offering unique enthusiast-specific options such as a COPO Build Book and the opportunity for owners to help assemble their car's engine at the Chevrolet Performance Build Center in Wixom, MI.

Fewer than 1 in 3 Chevy dealers earn right to initially sell C7 Corvette

Mon, 01 Apr 2013

Looking to make the launch of the 2014 Corvette Stingray as efficient as possible, Chevrolet will be limiting the numbers of its dealers that can sell the all-new coupe and convertible. According to Automotive News, sales of the C7 Corvette will initially be limited to less than a third of Chevy's total dealership network when the 'Vette goes on sale this summer.
Only 900 dealers out of more than 3,000 locations nationwide will be allowed to sell the new Corvette at first, and the reason for this is so that there are no shortages at dealers that can actually get the cars sold. The article says that the 900 dealerships chosen represented 80 percent of total Corvette sales in 2012.
Some of the requirements dealers had to make to get initial allocation of Stingray sales include having sold at least four Corvettes in 2012 and having a Corvette Stingray specialist who will be required to have gone through a training session costing more than $2,000 per attendee. Once demand for the 2014 Corvette Stingray begins to subside - approximately six to nine months after it goes on sale - then allocation could open up to more dealers, but the report indicates this could happen following the 2014 model year.
