I am selling my 2005 Express Cargo Van. its a 2500 (3/4 ton) short wheelbase. I have owned this van for several years and have no complaints. I would drive this van anywhere without hesitation. This van features the powerful 6.0L V8. I typically average over 15mpgs. I have been the only driver this was not a fleet vehicle. The people that owned it before me were heatpump service techs. Overall I would say this van is in very good condition, there are a few exterior blemishes but nothing out of the ordinary. The engine does not burn oil or leak any fluids what so ever. the transmission feels very strong. I have owned several of these vans over the years and this one by far is my favorite. There are no brake noises or shakes. The exhaust is nice and quiet. There is no rust on or under the van. the tires have more than half the tread left...I would say you could get another 15 to 20K miles on them. The power locks and windows work great. The cruise control is very nice for highway driving, The air conditioner is always ice cold with no leaks. If you need a good looking and dependable van, I can assure you, this is a good purchase. I really hate to let it go, I just don't have a use for it any longer. I have absolutely nothing to hide, so If you have a question, please don't hesitate to submit.

NHTSA closes book on Ford, GM probes of 600,000 vehicles

US safety regulators have closed a pair of investigations into some 500,000 Ford Crown Victoria, Mercury Grand Marquis and Marauder sedans built between 2004 to 2007, and 100,000 Chevrolet Impala models from 2014. The Ford investigation focused on rusting heat shields, which may become dislodged and jam the steering, according to Reuters. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration found that this happened very rarely. In fact, of the ten incidents filed with the government safety watchdog, six came from a single police department, which evidently had some sort of problem with its reporting. As for the Impala, the NHTSA investigators attributed two incidences of "unintended autonomous braking" to user error. In both cases, the vehicles were involved in rear-end collisions. According to GM investigators, it's believed that drivers accidentally activated the electric parking brake, causing the collisions. The vehicles in question were rental cars. Next-gen GMC Sierra spied with diesel power

The next generation of GM trucks is arriving soon, and we're expecting a huge leap forward over the current lineup. The Chevy Silverado and the GMC SIerra sell extremely well, but haven't done much to move the segment forward in a long time. The Ford F-150 has an all-aluminum body and turbocharged V6 power. The Ram 1500 gained a diesel and coil spring suspension. These spy shots show that diesel may be in the cards for GM. Some quick shots and copious use of flash show what is most likely a tank for diesel exhaust fluid and a diesel particulate filter, both necessary equipment for any modern diesel. It's unclear what form factor that engine will come in, though GM has a number of engines to choose from, including the 2.8-liter inline four that's found in the Colorado and Canyon, though that may be a little light duty for the Silverado and Sierra. Other rumors surrounding the trucks suggest a move to an aluminum cab while retaining a steel bed. That seems like a reasonable move for GM, even if the company was attempting to shame Ford for its move to aluminum a few years ago. Look for more news as early as the Detroit Auto Show in January. 2017 North American Car, Truck, and Utility Vehicle of the Year finalists revealed

The finalists for the 2017 North American Car, Truck, and Utility Vehicle of the Year were announced Tuesday at AutoMobility LA ahead of the 2016 LA Auto Show. Approximately 60 judges, including Autoblog's editor-in-chief Mike Austin, evaluated over 40 vehicles and named three models as the finalists in each category. The award for the Utility Vehicle of the Year is new for 2017 and separates SUVs, crossovers, and minivans from pickup trucks.
