SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY! Sorry, No Trades and we don't finance. We have the title in hand and its ready to sign over to you today. No liens on this car either. We are a licensed and insured Minnesota dealer.

PLEASE WATCH MY VIDEO FOR A FULL WALK AROUND OF THIS CAR

We bought this car from the insurance company in its current condition. We have not done anything to do it. Please watch the video for a full walk around of this equinox. i have done the best job that i can in the video to point out everything that i know about it. As with all our cars, we offer them for sale one time just to see if we can make a quick buck rather then to build them. However we bought this equinox with the full intention of building it. So save a ton of money today from buying it as is and building it yourself of buy your local body shop.

I can tell you that this equinox runs and drives, however due to a broken radiator, it will only lot drive. with only 2k miles on it, it is still very clean and still smells like brand new. the window sticker has an MSRP of $29,995.00. I don't know anything about the accident itself or how it happened. but it looks like it went into a ditch because there was alot of grass in the bumper cover and clearly the lower front bumper cover is missing. but some how the left rear quarter panel got damaged as well. Below is a list of the parts showing everything that i can see that it needs. These prices are true prices and they are what i would pay for them at my cost. if you look around or have connections then you shouldn't have any problems getting the same parts at the same costs.

FRONT END PARTS
radiator 100
condenser 100
lower front bumper cover 130
maybe a upper front bumper cover 200 (i have one in color that i might throw in)

REAR END PARTS
upper rear bumper cover 200
left rear quarter panel 400
left rear door 500
left rear quarter glass 100
left rear tail light 100

INTERIOR PARTS
both curtain air bags $250 each
seat air bag $200-300
restitch the seat cover $75 or 200 for a new one

We let these cars sell them self. If for any reason you feel its to much of a risk to bid on this car with out seeing it in person first, then you are more then welcome to contact any shop near me (at your cost) and i will be more then happy to take this car to any shop of your choice for a 3rd party inspection. I do what i can to provide you with all the information i have so it will help you make the best decision you can make. I do my best to be as honest and upfront as i can be. There is nothing wrong with buying a salvage title car, however you will always get the car for less money then a clean title car. Usually you can buy that car for about 70-75% of clean title value, however that number can go up or down depending on supply and demand. Clearly a car like this might be a bit more on the high side, and yet a dodge neon with a salvage title might be a bit more on the low side. Either way, the biggest thing you should know about any salvage title car is the history and how bad the accident was.

QUESTIONS, its best to e-mail your questions to me via ebay messages. Otherwise your more then welcome to come check out this car in person and ask your questions. If you live to far away to come check it out, feel free to contact any dealership, repair, or body shop in Faribault Minnesota 55021 and i will take the car there for an inspection at your expense so you can get someone elses opinion on this vehicle. There is nothing i am hiding and i challenge you to find something on this car that i haven't already told you about. All of our cars are located in FARIBAULT, MINNESOTA 55021.

Current Title, The current title is a Minnesota salvage title. Please check with your state before bidding. Once you get this car inspected, it should come back as a prior salvage title/rebuilt in your home state. I can get it inspected here in Minnesota, but that might not do you any good if you live out of state. If I do get it inspected here, and send the title into Minnesota, then its going to take about 3 months for the state of Minnesota to send me the prior salvage title back. I know for a fact that this car will pass a Minnesota state inspection with flying colors or your money back. Other state's might require something different, so please check before you bid. All sales are final. We will provide you with a bill of sale, title, repair receipts, ect. You shouldn't need anything more then what I listed above, but if there is, let us know and we will do our best to get you anything you need to get this vehicle inspected in your home state.

Att: Minnesota buyers, You will be charged sales tax at a rate of 6.5%, plus plates, tabs, and title transfer fees. You will also need to get this vehicle inspected with in the next year and we will provide you will all the receipts and Minnesota Affidavit of Reconstruction paperwork that you will need to get it inspected. You will be provided with a 21 day permit to drive this vehicle right away, and then we will get the plates for you and they will be mailed to you or you can pick this up if you are local. You have one year to get this vehicle inspected before Minnesota will issue you new license tabs. The inspection process is easy and only takes about 20mins. We will provide you with the dates and times of your nearest inspection center. After is has been inspected, you will get a new title back from the State of Minnesota that will give it a Prior Salvage Title Status. According to the State, that means that it is a clear title. According to everyone else, its still a salvage title.

Att: Non-Minnesota buyers, You will NOT be charged any added fees. You will owe the exact amount of your final bid and that's all. You will be given the receipts for the repairs in the event you need them. You will also need to check with your local DMV to check the process of transferring a salvage title in your home state before you bid. You will be given a 31day permit to drive this vehicle home, but after that, you are on your own. You should be able to take the title to your dmv and get it transferred and get plates right away, but some states might have a different process that you need to go though, so please check that out before you bid. After the inspection is done in your home state, you should be issued a prior salvage/rebuilt title.

Shipping, Shipping is at Buyers expense. If you can't come pick this up in person and you want us to ship it for you, we can set that up. Clearly the farther away you are, the more it's going to cost. Average shipping costs are about $150 in Minnesota, $300 in upper Midwest, $500 to outer Midwest (Texas,Ohio,Montana,Colorado), and coastal areas are about $700-$900. Depending on where you are, it could take anywhere from 2 to 8 business days before you receive this vehicle.

Deposit, After this auction ends, we will need a $500 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit with in 48hrs of the end of this auction. If you come here and decide that you don't want to buy the vehicle for whatever reason, we will refund $250 of that deposit and keep $250. However if you never show up, then we will keep all the $500. Deposit can be Cash in person only, Pay Pal, Certified Bank Check, or a Bank Wire Transfer.

Total Balance Due, Any remaining balance must be paid with in 5 business days of the end of the auction. The balance can ONLY be paid with cash (in person only), wire transfer, or Certified Bank Check. If you do pay with a Certified Bank Check (cashiers check), we will hold the title and receipts for 14 days until that check clears and then mail the title and receipts to you. NO PERSONAL CHECKS!

Warranty, Most auto manufacturers don't stand by the factory warranty with a car has a salvage title, however some still do. So its up to you to contact your local dealership to see if the factory warranty is still active. If you do want to check on the warranty status, all you need to do is call your local GM dealer and give them the vin number to this car and ask them if the warranty is still good. ALL auto manufacturers still do stand by recalls. So if this car is in need of a recall, take it back to the dealership and they will fix the recalled item. On the other hand, if you have any prior accident repair issues with this car with in the first 90 days let us know and we will usually take care of the problem at no charge as long as you bring the car back to us. If you live to far away to bring it back, then we will try to work something out with you.

BALANCE NEEDS TO BE WIRE TRANSFER OR CASHIERS CHECK. NO PERSONAL CHECKS.

WE WILL NOT SELL TO SOMEONE OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES UNLESS YOU CAN PAY AMERICAN CASH IN PERSON WHEN YOU COME TO PICK UP THE CAR.

Fewer than 1 in 3 Chevy dealers earn right to initially sell C7 Corvette

Mon, 01 Apr 2013

Looking to make the launch of the 2014 Corvette Stingray as efficient as possible, Chevrolet will be limiting the numbers of its dealers that can sell the all-new coupe and convertible. According to Automotive News, sales of the C7 Corvette will initially be limited to less than a third of Chevy's total dealership network when the 'Vette goes on sale this summer.
Only 900 dealers out of more than 3,000 locations nationwide will be allowed to sell the new Corvette at first, and the reason for this is so that there are no shortages at dealers that can actually get the cars sold. The article says that the 900 dealerships chosen represented 80 percent of total Corvette sales in 2012.
Some of the requirements dealers had to make to get initial allocation of Stingray sales include having sold at least four Corvettes in 2012 and having a Corvette Stingray specialist who will be required to have gone through a training session costing more than $2,000 per attendee. Once demand for the 2014 Corvette Stingray begins to subside - approximately six to nine months after it goes on sale - then allocation could open up to more dealers, but the report indicates this could happen following the 2014 model year.

First 2016 Chevy Volt commercial rocks us to sleep

Fri, Jan 30 2015

The 2016 Chevrolet Volt, with its thorough restyling and increased all-electric range, is an exciting evolution of Chevy's groundbreaking plug-in hybrid, so it's only fitting that the commercial campaign to sell it to the masses also be engaging and vibrant. Well, the first ad has just been officially released and it rocks... us to sleep. Now, we get that General Motors didn't want to repeat past Volt-commercial mistakes. No one wants to see dogs licking feet or dumb (and weirdly horny) aliens again. Nor would it be smart to slam all-electric vehicles, since it now sells the Spark EV and has just revealed its 200-mile Bolt concept. So, what does that leave? How about a mostly computer-generated spot that relies on cliche images and an upbeat synthetic soundtrack to communicate that the Volt is now as boring as other four-door appliances? An intro, featuring a lightly-bearded gentleman peering at his tablet through designer glasses launches us into the action as the Volt makes its way across a city bridge, then a curvaceous country road. Chevrolet doesn't include voiceover to inform you that the new Volt has a 50-mile battery-only range. There's no mention of its gas mileage once its electric charge is depleted – items that just might be of importance to hybrid buyers. The ad also makes no attempt at establishing an emotional connection, either through drama or comedy. There are, however, lots of fast cuts of the new, normalized interior, including a two-second detail shot featuring the windshield wiper switch. We imagine that this is only the first in a series of spots that will tell the Volt story and motivate potential buyers to run down to their local dealer, hopefully the next spots will be more interesting and informative. 5 reasons why GM is cutting jobs, closing plants in a healthy economy

Tue, Nov 27 2018

DETROIT — Even though unemployment is low, the economy is growing and U.S. auto sales are near historic highs, General Motors is cutting thousands of jobs in a major restructuring aimed at generating cash to spend on innovation. It's the new reality for automakers that are faced with the present cost of designing gas-powered cars and trucks that appeal to buyers now while at the same time preparing for a future world of electric and autonomous vehicles. GM announced Monday that it will cut as many as 14,000 workers in North America and put five plants up for possible closure as it abandons many of its car models and restructures to focus more on autonomous and electric vehicles. The reductions could amount to as much as 8 percent of GM's global workforce of 180,000 employees. The cuts mark GM's first major downsizing since shedding thousands of jobs in the Great Recession. The company also said it will stop operating two additional factories outside North America by the end of next year. The move to make GM get leaner before the next downturn likely will be followed by Ford Motor Co., which also has struggled to keep one foot in the present and another in an ambiguous future of new mobility. Ford has been slower to react, but says it will lay off an unspecified number of white-collar workers as it exits much of the car market in favor of trucks and SUVs, some of them powered by batteries. Here's a rundown of the reasons behind the cuts: Coding, not combustion CEO Mary Barra said as cars and trucks become more complex, GM will need more computer coders but fewer engineers who work on internal combustion engines. "The vehicle has become much more software-oriented" with millions of lines of code, she said. "We still need many technical resources in the company." Shedding sedans The restructuring also reflects changing North American auto markets as manufacturers continue to shift away from cars toward SUVs and trucks. In October, almost 65 percent of new vehicles sold in the U.S. were trucks or SUVs. That figure was about 50 percent cars just five years ago. GM is shedding cars largely because it doesn't make money on them, Citi analyst Itay Michaeli wrote in a note to investors. "We estimate sedans operate at a significant loss, hence the need for classic restructuring," he wrote. The reduction includes about 8,000 white-collar employees, or 15 percent of GM's North American white-collar workforce. Some will take buyouts while others will be laid off.
