This is a freshly restored '64 El Camino. It has a few items that I have not bought for it yet, but they are all readily available and not terribly expensive. The are the "Chevrolet" emblems on the hood and tailgate, the hood spear, a radio, license plate lights, and door lock knobs.
I did an extensive restoration on this car. I did not remove the body from the frame ( it just didn't need it), but everything else has been completely restored, replaced, or rebuilt. All surfaces underneath vehicle and inside body panels have been coated with POR 15.
I'll try to list some of the new parts:
quarter panels, floor pans, front and rear bumpers, complete grill kit, most emblems, exterior door handles, exterior mirrors, all locks, gas tank, drive shaft, complete dual exhaust system, aluminum radiator and electric fan, front power disc brake conversion, brake master cylinder, brake proportioning valve, wheels, tires, all new interior including seat foam, seat covers, door panels carpet, headliner, glove box liner, instrument bezel, all new instruments, shifter, steering wheel (it comes with the original restored steering wheel as well), all new rubber seals and weatherstripping.
The engine and transmission have just been completely rebuilt. Transmission is a 350 turbo and engine is a 350. Some of the features of the engine rebuild are:
it has the original 327 double hump heads. Flat top pistons, oem camshaft, edelbrock aluminum intake, Holley650 dual line carb, ceramic coated headers, roller rocker arms, and nice aluminum finned valve covers.
The car has power steering and brakes and drives like new. It really drives wonderfully. The paint is new and very nice. The wheels are made by Newstalgia and the are 17" on front and 18" on rear.

I help with shipping/delivery, but the buyer is responsible for all shipping costs.

Mary Barra reportedly confirms GM's electric pickup truck plans

Tue, Apr 30 2019

According to Motor Authority, CEO Mary Barra confirmed General Motors' intentions to build an electric pickup truck this week. Whether or not it would be an all-new vehicle is unknown. The news comes not even a week after Ford announced a $500 million investment in electric-vehicle startup Rivian. First, electric powertrains were integrated into cars. Then came the crossovers and the SUVs. Naturally, then, the next wave will be pickup trucks. Ford is set to produce an electric F-150, Rivian has the R1T, and now General Motors has reportedly confirmed its plans to introduce a competitor into the field. The article says the topic was brought up in a recent investor call as part of a brief overview of the automaker's electrification strategy. That's where the details end, however, as there is no indication of a timeline, what GM brand would carry the truck, or whether it would be an entirely new product or an adaptation of a current model. The latter seems most likely, which points to the Chevrolet Silverado or the GMC Sierra as possibilities. Chevrolet has been GM's electrification leader this decade with the Bolt and Volt, so an electric Silverado would align well with that messaging and branding. However, an electric pickup would likely be a pricier premium product, which could align it better with GMC. Autoblog has reached out to GM for comment and will update this space when we get a response. 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Convertible is the track car for sun worshippers

Fri, 11 Apr 2014

Supercharged, 6.2-liter V8? Check. Seven-speed manual? Check. Obsession with weight? Check.
What did you expect when Chevrolet said it was bringing a new Corvette variant to the 2014 New York Auto Show? Maybe a sticker and trim package, like the C6 Corvette Grand Sport or a tie-in deal like the Black Widow car from Chicago? On the opposite end, maybe there was an even more hardcore Z06 waiting in the wings. Who knew?
