For an easy transaction for the both of us, I have listed the transaction process below which we would follow to complete the sale.

The title is free of liens so only the process below needs to be followed and is very straight forward.

I will need one payment in full. Once you pay, I will sign the back of the New Jersey title and hand it over to you. You provide the correct odometer reading, sales price, date of sale, your printed name, address, signature and license number. I will take a copy of it and hand it back to you.

You will need to contact an insurance agent, give the vehicle identification number (VIN) listed on the title to the agent, obtain proof of insurance -- have it emailed or faxed

Go to a local MVC office with your driver's license, title and proof of insurance. Fill out the application for registration (form BA-49), which you can obtain at the MVC. The buyer is responsible for paying sales tax in New Jersey, along with registering the car in his/her name and getting new tags. Pay your title, registration fee and sales tax. Receive your two license plates and retain all copies of your paperwork to put in your glove box.

Arrange for a ride to return to your car and put the plates on it so that you can drive away legally.
If you can go to the MVC office in Lodi/Jersey City, I can come to the MVC with you and hand over the car right there!

I will surrender the plates to DMV after you take the car and will sign a Notice of transfer/release of liability and will cancel my insurance.

GM slashes prices in China as sales falter

Thu, May 14 2015

Buying a vehicle from General Motors' stable of brands might be a lot cheaper in the near future – at least for customers in China. The effort comes as GM hopes to keep sales there growing, and the decision alludes to yet another sign that the Asian country no longer has the booming auto market of past years. GM and its Chinese joint venture partner SAIC are slashing prices by as much as the equivalent to $8,700 on 40 models from Buick, Chevrolet, and Cadillac, according to The Detroit News. Across all of automaker's nameplates, the overall sales dipped in China in April by 0.4 percent to 258,484 vehicles. Among the drops, Buick was down 8.5 percent, and Chevy shrunk 5.6 percent. Caddy's numbers increased 4.6 percent for the month, though. Buick remains a popular brand in the minds of Chinese consumers, but according to The Detroit News domestic automakers there are starting to eat into the dominance of foreign companies in the market. The country remains important for GM, though. Late last year, it outlined a future strategy that included China as a major pillar, including a $14 billion investment to build five new factories and boost sales. Race Recap: 2013 Indianapolis 500 better than Bollywood; all the emotion, none of the music [spoilers]

Mon, 27 May 2013

If the 2013 Indy 500 were a movie it would be the one expected to win all the little statues come awards season, and if it were an athlete it would have made spectators watch in awe as it broke record after record. And this kind of talk comes after last year's race was considered one of the best ever - the last lap hijinks in 2012 and Takuma Sato's crash leading to a podium ceremony straight out of a Golden Globes tearjerker.
But this year's race delivered more than anyone expected, from the 250,000 fans to the commentators to the IndyCar series itself and, finally, to the guy who hopped through a two-mile window on Lap 197 to take the lead and keep it until the end.
